“Dawn was excellent looking after my boy Taco, while I was out of town. Very thorough and responsive leading up to the visits and provided me with updates and photos during my time away. Definitely recommend her services!”

“We have nothing but great things to say about Catherine! She was awesome at communicating when she would be available to do drop-in visits for our dog and kept him entertained while we were gone! She took him to our apartment’s dog park so he could get out of the house and always made sure he had food available. We will definitely call Catherine again for our next trip!”

“We could not have been more pleased with how much care and attention Baylee showed toward our cat Biscuit while we were away. The detailed drop-in notes, photos and video let us know quite clearly he we being well taken care of. If you ever need someone to take care of your dog or cat and have hesitations using the Rover service put them aside, this was out 3rd time using service and they hire quality people that really care for your pet like they are their own.”

“Ruth did an incredible job, she watched our two cats while we were on vacation for two weeks and she gave us peace of mind the entire trip! She sent lots of pictures for each visit, and really spent her time hanging out with our cats☺️ She took care of everything we asked and was so communicative the entire time. Would highly recommend to watch your fur babies!”

“Lizzy was great with our boy Milo over 4th of July weekend. We were in a pinch looking for a somewhat last minute sitter for our boy who doesn’t love fireworks. She was punctual, caring, and communicative.”

“Elizabeth has been great with our dog! She is very easy to communicate with, is great with dogs, and provides helpful updates. I am very comfortable and reassured my dog is in good hands with Elizabeth.”

“Sydney is a keeper. Both of my dogs and the family love how punctual she was. Her attention to detail and a healthy attention to both dogs. She made sure to send pictures and updates. My favorite part of our first Rover experience is that Chase’s ball broke and Sydney got him a new one. I love that she went the extra mile for Chase and for us.”

About: Since I was 5 years old, I have had a family dog as part of my life. I take special care with my now current elderly dog to make sure he is hydrated in the summer heat. I will give the same care to your family member. I am retired and available most days for drop in visits in the morning, afternoon and evenings. I will make your pet's needs are met and keep you informed of their care. In your home I will use the upmost respect for your animal's care and home. I plan on each visit to spend time not only taking care of their needs but talking and playing with them too.
“Aimee watched our two kitties over Christmas break and she did an AMAZING job!! She was very flexible with her availability, she made sure our babies were loved and taken care of (and sent LOTS of photos), and she made sure everything was clean, refilled, and ready to go when we came home. 10/10 recommend!!”

About: With years of hands-on experience, I confidently manage everything from senior dogs requiring precise medication schedules and gentle mobility adjustments to high-energy pups needing vigorous exercise and playful stimulation. I adapt seamlessly to your pet's specific routine, offering structured, attentive care that keeps aging companions comfortable and younger dogs happily exhausted. Your fur baby's safety, health, and happiness are always my top priorities. I currently have a full time position so through the week I am unavailable between 9am - 5pm. That said my full time job is unconventional in the sense I could go in later or leave earlier if needed! I am fully available Saturday and Sunday. Whether I am welcoming a pet into my own space or staying at a client's home, safety, open communication, and absolute respect for the environment are my top priorities. In Your Home (House Sitting & Drop-Ins) I treat your home with the utmost respect, treating it exactly as I would want my own to be treated. When providing overnight house sitting, I follow a strict "leave no trace" policy. Before you return, I will always: Wash the used sheets and towels. Deep clean the kitchen and ensure all dishes are put away. Take out the trash so you return to a fresh, welcoming space. Your pet’s physical and mental well-being is the core of my service. I don't just "watch" pets; I engage them. My care routine includes: Enriching Walks: I love taking dogs on structured, mentally stimulating walks where they can safely explore and sniff, which helps burn off mental anxiety and physical energy. Consistency: I strictly maintain any training commands, dietary schedules, and house rules you have in place to ensure your pet feels secure and routine-bound while you are away. Quality Playtime: For both dogs and cats, I dedicate focused time to interactive play (like puzzle toys, wand toys, or fetch) to keep them happy and engaged.
“Taylor did an incredible job of taking care of our two 4 legged family members - Johnny, the naughty cat and Bella, our 10 year old teacup Yorkie. Bella is very shy, skittish as blind and Taylor was able to quickly gain her trust. She tended to their every needs and gave us thorough updates. I would highly recommend Taylor for you four legged families needs.”

“Sharon hooked us up with a last minute booking during the holidays. She was great with our pups and everything was great when we came home. Will definitely be booking with her again next time we have to go out of town.”

“Taylor has been fantastic to work with. He showed genuine interest and attention when we first met and has been great with our puppy. He gives thorough updates, and I am excited on my dog’s behalf when Taylor is coming by for a visit that day”

“Stella was an absolute lifesaver! Our original sitter canceled just a week before our vacation, and she stepped in and went above and beyond. She took such amazing care of our two cats, spending time playing with them and making sure they felt loved while we were gone. We received photos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would 100% recommend her! 🐾💛”

About: I LOVE animals and have 2 golden retrievers of my own that I treat like my children. Growing up, we had animals of all kinds in our house as my step-mom works in animal welfare. We were constantly fostering (and usually becoming foster failures) dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. Before I got my first full-time job, I was also walking dogs and taking care of cats for families in my neighborhood. I can help with anything from walking, to feeding, giving medication and giving your pets love and affection. Being a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to get amazing care for your babies. I always expect my dog sitters to keep me updated with photos and messages, so I will do just the same! I live in Neptune Beach and work from home from 9am-5pm, so you can expect routine potty breaks and feeding under my care. I assure you I will love and treat your pet like my own , and help with any other favors you need! I currently work fully from home, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets and make sure they have the potty breaks they need! I am very familiar with crate training, and am happy to accommodate that need! I also have a dog that is known for getting into things, so I am always hyper aware that everything is put away and out of reach from any pets. If your pet sleeps in bed with you, even better! I'm happy to accommodate to make your pet feel right at home with me.

My Lola recently passed away after being with us for 18 years. So I would love to be able to Share my experience and love of animals with you. It will be so much fun for me to have playtime with your dog or kitty. I will be happy to play in your backyard with puppy or take them for a short walk.

Even with the app sometimes is hard to find the right person to love our baby's when we are not there. Elizabeth was the perfect fit for it with much attention to dictates and information about them. She goes the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. She does so with providing all the information we wanna on the notes daily. Definitely booking again ....

Sherri did a great job caring for our 12-year old cat while we were away. She was always responsive and compassionate for our boy. I felt at ease knowing that she was checking on him while we were gone. Thanks for everything, Sherri! Will definitely book again. 😊

Baylee always does such a great job that I’m starting to wonder if my cats like her more than me 😄! They come out to greet her during each visit which is a rarity for my one cat as he tends to be very shy. I’m so glad that I don’t have to worry about my guys while I am away because she always provides plenty of pics so I can see that they are well fed, litter clean and happy to get some company. Thanks again as always!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
