“Taylor did an incredible job of taking care of our two 4 legged family members - Johnny, the naughty cat and Bella, our 10 year old teacup Yorkie. Bella is very shy, skittish as blind and Taylor was able to quickly gain her trust. She tended to their every needs and gave us thorough updates. I would highly recommend Taylor for you four legged families needs.”

“Lizzy was great with our boy Milo over 4th of July weekend. We were in a pinch looking for a somewhat last minute sitter for our boy who doesn’t love fireworks. She was punctual, caring, and communicative.”

“Sydney is a keeper. Both of my dogs and the family love how punctual she was. Her attention to detail and a healthy attention to both dogs. She made sure to send pictures and updates. My favorite part of our first Rover experience is that Chase’s ball broke and Sydney got him a new one. I love that she went the extra mile for Chase and for us.”

They seem to find me! I love animals and want the best for them. I recently retired to Florida, and do some volunteer work, but would love to help you with your pet. My Lola recently passed away after being with us for 18 years. So I would love to be able to Share my experience and love of animals with you. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, you name it. I currently have two dogs and a cat, pet sit for neighbors, family, etc. I am a teacher, so currently off for the summer with a flexible schedule. I am a teacher, so I am home all summer and during the school year I am home by 2:30 on most days. I go in very early, so my husband does morning walk and breakfast with your dogs. If I am sitting it will be me doing all walks. We live in Atlantic Beach on a cul de sac, with a fenced back yard and lots of room. In the summer my day consists of yard work, gardening, and beach walks. Weekends are generally with my husband and friends. My dogs go for daily walks and pretty much follow me around all day! The cat either lays under the boat or on my daughter's bed depending on her nap schedule. Dogs get breakfast, a snack and dinner at 6:30 sharp and yak chews from the farmer's market as their treats. If house sitting I will do whatever the pet owners prefer.
“stella did a great job with my cat artie! he keeps more to himself with new people but he loved her and let her pet and play with him!! i will definitely be rebooking with stella!!”

About: Since high school, I have always loved animals. Now, I work at an animal hospital and I have experience with caring for dogs and cats. I can care for special needs animals in addition to kittens, senior animals, and everyone in between! I work at an animal hospital but I am able to take breaks. I am available 24/7 on weekends. I can do drop ins and walks on my lunch break and am available every night and early morning! I provide a calm, clean, and secure environment by following your pet’s routine closely and keeping their space safe and stress-free, whether in your home or mine. I also work at an animal hospital, so if there’s ever an emergency, I can act quickly and get them immediate care.
About: With years of hands-on experience, I confidently manage everything from senior dogs requiring precise medication schedules and gentle mobility adjustments to high-energy pups needing vigorous exercise and playful stimulation. I adapt seamlessly to your pet's specific routine, offering structured, attentive care that keeps aging companions comfortable and younger dogs happily exhausted. Your fur baby's safety, health, and happiness are always my top priorities. I currently have a full time position so through the week I am unavailable between 9am - 5pm. That said my full time job is unconventional in the sense I could go in later or leave earlier if needed! I am fully available Saturday and Sunday. Whether I am welcoming a pet into my own space or staying at a client's home, safety, open communication, and absolute respect for the environment are my top priorities. In Your Home (House Sitting & Drop-Ins) I treat your home with the utmost respect, treating it exactly as I would want my own to be treated. When providing overnight house sitting, I follow a strict "leave no trace" policy. Before you return, I will always: Wash the used sheets and towels. Deep clean the kitchen and ensure all dishes are put away. Take out the trash so you return to a fresh, welcoming space. Your pet’s physical and mental well-being is the core of my service. I don't just "watch" pets; I engage them. My care routine includes: Enriching Walks: I love taking dogs on structured, mentally stimulating walks where they can safely explore and sniff, which helps burn off mental anxiety and physical energy. Consistency: I strictly maintain any training commands, dietary schedules, and house rules you have in place to ensure your pet feels secure and routine-bound while you are away. Quality Playtime: For both dogs and cats, I dedicate focused time to interactive play (like puzzle toys, wand toys, or fetch) to keep them happy and engaged.
“Ruth did an incredible job, she watched our two cats while we were on vacation for two weeks and she gave us peace of mind the entire trip! She sent lots of pictures for each visit, and really spent her time hanging out with our cats☺️ She took care of everything we asked and was so communicative the entire time. Would highly recommend to watch your fur babies!”

“Sharon was excellent with our 5 month old golden retriever!! She followed all instructions I provided, and I could tell how happy our puppy was to spend time with her! Highly recommend Sharon!”

“I appreciate you so much! You are hands down the best Rover person we’ve ever had, and we’ve used it a lot for our fur babies! Catherine was not only on time for every appointment, but she also would stay at least 10 extra minutes just to spend extra time with the girls. She sent many pictures and it gave us a sigh of relief that they were happy because their ears are perked up and tongues out! She gave us updates on how they were and even suggested a flea med that we’re going to order! I will absolutely reach out to Catherine before anyone else before my next trip.”

“This was our first time using Rover services and Madison did a terrific job!! Our cats are so bashful but Madison was able to capture pictures of them to let us know they were doing well - plus the fish! We will definitely use her again - thanks so much!”

Even with the app sometimes is hard to find the right person to love our baby's when we are not there. Elizabeth was the perfect fit for it with much attention to dictates and information about them. She goes the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. She does so with providing all the information we wanna on the notes daily. Definitely booking again ....

Dawn was a wonderful cat sitter! I have been a Rover sitter myself, but have never had anyone watch my own pets before. Dawn did not disappoint. She was kind, caring, detail oriented and made me feel 100% confident my fur babies would be loved while I was gone! I will be booking her again in the future.

Sherri did a great job caring for our 12-year old cat while we were away. She was always responsive and compassionate for our boy. I felt at ease knowing that she was checking on him while we were gone. Thanks for everything, Sherri! Will definitely book again. 😊

Baylee always does such a great job that I’m starting to wonder if my cats like her more than me 😄! They come out to greet her during each visit which is a rarity for my one cat as he tends to be very shy. I’m so glad that I don’t have to worry about my guys while I am away because she always provides plenty of pics so I can see that they are well fed, litter clean and happy to get some company. Thanks again as always!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
