About: Since I was 5 years old, I have had a family dog as part of my life. I take special care with my now current elderly dog to make sure he is hydrated in the summer heat. I will give the same care to your family member. I am retired and available most days for drop in visits in the morning, afternoon and evenings. I will make your pet's needs are met and keep you informed of their care. In your home I will use the upmost respect for your animal's care and home. I plan on each visit to spend time not only taking care of their needs but talking and playing with them too.
“Mackenzie was great in accepting drop-in visits at the last minute during a holiday weekend. She has great communication in informing us of how Callie, our cat, was doing daily. Sent us multiple pictures and played with her during her visits. We highly recommend her.”

“Mackenna provided amazing care to our puppy! She is professional , very attentive, and has excellent communication skills. I would recommend her to take care of your fur baby 100%.”

About: Hi everyone! My name is Alyssa. 🤗 What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every pet like family. I’m patient, attentive, adaptable, and especially comfortable with senior pets, anxious animals, and pets who need extra patience or specialized care. I have personal experience caring for a senior cat with diabetes, which has taught me how important consistency, observation, and attention to detail are when caring for an aging pet or one with additional needs. I’m comfortable following detailed feeding routines, medication instructions, and individualized care plans. I’m also very calm and capable in a crisis. If something unexpected happens, I don’t panic. I assess the situation, follow the appropriate steps, communicate with the owner, and make sure the pet’s safety comes first. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to stay level-headed when you’re not there. Above all, I pay attention to the little things: changes in appetite, bathroom habits, energy, behavior, and overall mood. I want every pet to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their person is away, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you never feel out of the loop. 🐾💛⭐️🤗✨ As an actress and social media content creator, my schedule is very flexible and currently quite open, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m able to work my days around their routines, whether that means walks, feedings, playtime, medication, or simply keeping them company. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and having a flexible schedule means I’m not constantly rushing off to another commitment. Your pet can get plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Basically, I’m happy to let your pet be my boss. 😂🐾 Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In my home, I give pets time to become familiar with the surroundings and neighborhood rather than overwhelming them. I pay close attention to their stress levels, body language, appetite, energy, and behavior so I can adjust their care to what they’re communicating. When house sitting, I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. Along with caring for your pets, I’m happy to handle everyday things like tending to gardens, taking out the trash, doing dishes, bringing in mail, and keeping the home tidy. I want you to come home to happy pets and a home that feels just as you left it. 🐾
“Baylee always does such a great job that I’m starting to wonder if my cats like her more than me 😄! They come out to greet her during each visit which is a rarity for my one cat as he tends to be very shy. I’m so glad that I don’t have to worry about my guys while I am away because she always provides plenty of pics so I can see that they are well fed, litter clean and happy to get some company. Thanks again as always!”

“Took care of dogs great and was on time coming to take care of them. Professional and friendly. Sent us pictures each visit. Would have been better if she emptied the mop bucket left to stink up the house with pee in it not rinsed and not cleaned just soaked up with the mop. There was a hose right outside the back door where mop and bucket could have been rinsed. Cleaned floor mop and bucket when we got home at 1am from our trip. Other than that snafu things went well.”

“Sydney is a keeper. Both of my dogs and the family love how punctual she was. Her attention to detail and a healthy attention to both dogs. She made sure to send pictures and updates. My favorite part of our first Rover experience is that Chase’s ball broke and Sydney got him a new one. I love that she went the extra mile for Chase and for us.”

“Ambar was super easy to work with! She was friendly and my babies took to her very easy. I asked to modify my request after she accepted the initial one and she was able to accommodate it for me.”

“Great to Lorraine drop in on the pups. Helps us alot. The pups really appreciated it. She was punctual and took some great photos of them playing. Looking forward to continuing building this relationship.”

“Aimee was consciousness and took great care of my kitty. She went above and beyond in tidying my home up before I returned from my trip. Highly recommend her.”
“I used Zachary when I went out of town for a few days, he was very good at updating me about my pets at each visit and sent pics of them. I will be using him again when I leave town. 10 out of 10!”

“Taylor did an incredible job of taking care of our two 4 legged family members - Johnny, the naughty cat and Bella, our 10 year old teacup Yorkie. Bella is very shy, skittish as blind and Taylor was able to quickly gain her trust. She tended to their every needs and gave us thorough updates. I would highly recommend Taylor for you four legged families needs.”

“Lizzy was great with our boy Milo over 4th of July weekend. We were in a pinch looking for a somewhat last minute sitter for our boy who doesn’t love fireworks. She was punctual, caring, and communicative.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years and have experience with dogs of all ages, including senior dogs. I grew up with my family dog, Beethoven, and enjoyed everything from daily walks and trips to the beach to teaching him basic commands like sit and fetch. I love spending quality time with dogs, whether that’s going on long walks, playing outside, or relaxing on the couch. Every dog has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know each one while making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently a new graduate nursing student studying for my NCLEX while working part-time at a hospital. My schedule is flexible, especially on my days off, and I update my availability regularly. I’m happy to accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting whenever my schedule allows! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications they may need. I have experience giving medications to both dogs and cats under their owner’s instructions and will always keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.
About: We both have had dogs our entire life and love them. We are newly retired and very active. We are right by the beach so that is our favorite place to walk. We will love on them while you are away. We can follow your pups schedule, exercise as much or as little as you would like. Cuddles and couch time are also favorites with us. We will keep you updated on their stay with photos and texts. Your pup will be loved and cared for while you are away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
