My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats.
