Through those experiences I’ve learned that every dog has a different personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always try to make them feel safe and at home. I’ve also cared for senior dogs, including administering injectable medication to my own dog when she became diabetic, which taught me patience, attention to detail, and the importance of following care instructions carefully. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a quiet environment, I’ll provide attentive care, regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. Our schedules allow us to provide pets with plenty of attention and companionship throughout their stay. While there may be times when pets are home alone, we typically plan our schedules so they are not left alone for more than about 4 hours at a time. We plan around each booking as much as possible to maintain your pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. We’re always happy to discuss your pet’s routine and supervision needs before. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: I have been a dog mom my whole life! I grew up on an animal rescue farm while also volunteering at an animal shelter. I then worked at a dog boarding facility (Pet Paradise) in college so I have endless experience caring for all kinds of pets and farm animals. I am a mom to a 17 year old American Bulldog, 11 year old Corgi, 3 year old tripawd pup and a 21 year old tarantula. I work from home full-time M-F 9-5 with minimal an flexible meetings (also my husband is home by 2pm each day). About: My dogs and I have been through AKC certified obedience training I'm experienced in walking multiple dogs at a time Can housesit and care for dogs with special needs Providing positive reinforcement and tasty bribes is my main method of gaining trust with a new dog friend. I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up I had two Lhasa Apso pups and two cats so caring for pets has been a big part of my life. As they got older, I helped give them their medications and make them feel comfortable. Over the years, my family has added three pups - two Toy Poodles and one Shih Tzu, who I have helped raised since they were puppies. I also have two of my own: an Australian Shepherd and a Bernese Mountain Dog, both whom I have raised since they were 8 weeks old. Through them, I have lots of experience in puppy training and recognizing that each pup is unique and has different needs. I also have experience caring for cats. My childhood cat developed health issues in her senior years, and I helped care for her through monthly vet visits and multiple medications, giving me first hand experience with the extra patience and attention senior cats need. My family also added a friendly tuxedo kitten to the bunch and my husband rescued a shy cat as well. So I am comfortable caring for cats with outgoing or more reserved feline personalities. “Best of both worlds! Doggie Friends & People to be with. All the local sitters were busy so I looked near where we were vacationing ~ 900 miles away and found Megan. She set up a Google "Meet" and greet. Where she explained her setup & approach. She has two dogs and looks for 2 dogs that match well with hers. She was already boarding a young dog & was looking for an smaller older dog so she was excited to get my request. So I was fortunate not only for Desmond to play outside in a fenced in yard but it was also a great chance for him to be "one of the gang." And then when he needed a break to know that there are people near to sit by. I would recommend if you find Megan has an opening to take the opportunity and board your dog with her!”
