“Marlena was absolutely amazing with our dog, Winnie! From the moment we dropped her off, we felt completely at ease knowing she was in great hands. Marlena sent us daily updates and adorable pictures that showed how happy and comfortable Winnie was the entire time. It’s clear that she truly loves and understands dogs. Winnie came back happy, healthy, and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, Marlena is the best! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and loving to watch their pup.”

“Allie was an excellent pupsitter! She was quick to communicate when I initiated contact and also all throughout my dog's 2 night (overnight) stay. She sent a lot of pupdates with what my dog was doing, sent pictures, etc. I would highly recommend Allie to dogsit overnight. My dog received amazing 24/7 care and became snuggle buddies with her dog Odin. Our dog was in a cast due to a fractured paw and she made sure he had limited play and exercise and even administered his pain meds. She followed our rules and didn't feed our dog any human food or let him onto the furniture. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up! Will definitely use Allie for all our future dogsitting needs! Highly, highly recommend Allie!!”

“Kristy was awesome. Our Goldendoodles seemed right at home with Kristy. She sent pictures and updates to reassure us that our pups were doing fine which made being away from them so much easier.. she was very dependable from our meet and greet to pick up!”

“Just an absolutely awesome experience! Super great communication. Beautiful home and neighborhood! It was so nice knowing our babies were well taken care of. 10/10 would use him time and time again and recommend to anyone looking for an AMAZING person to care for your dogs!”

“We booked with Paige at the last minute and it was the best decision we made. Her and her family where very welcoming with getting to know Storm. When we picked her up, we could tell that she was treated like their own. I got pictures of the snuggles which warmed my daughter's heart knowing that her baby was in great hands. We will be booking again when we need care for Storm again.”

About: I have dogs so there will always be play time scheduled, love going outside and watching animals play, I’ve grown up with animals my whole life so it’s nothing to add a few more to be loved on. Bath time is also a favorite for me, to watch the little babies jump around in the watch and wiggle the water all off. I’ve watched dogs for around 5 years now and never had any issues with any clients or animals I’ve come in counter with. I know how to administrator injectors to animals , and give medicines needed for sick babies. I don’t work long days so will have plenty of time to spend with the animals I’m watching at the time. I have a huge back yard made just for dogs.
“She did an awesome job! Yekaterina was very accommodating toward our fur baby. She kept us updated with plenty of pictures, made a great suggestion to help our cat gt acclimated to an unfamiliar environment. Would definitely book again!”

“Skylar was super happy and safe with Kaitlyn and Andrew. They provided daily updates with pictures to provide me with peace of mind about her care while I was away.”

“Patti and Butch were great! They have a wonderful back yard and they treated our little dog like it was their own. She provided daily pictures and updates while we were away for two weeks. Our dog was very happy and safe for the entire visit. I highly recommend Patti for any pet sitting needs.”

“My dog, Will and I highly recommend Joshua. We had a good experience in everyone from booking, scheduling, feeding and safety. Will enjoyed the visit and being around Josh’s nice dogs. He was healthy, happy and calm when I picked him up after a relatively long time. I hope Josh 3ill be able to look after him again. Thanks.”

“Josillyn, She was awesome—very attentive and accommodating. I wasn’t able to drop off my dog, and she kindly arranged to pick him up and drop him off, which I really appreciated. She also sent updates while I was out of town that gave me peace of mind knowing he was doing well. Highly recommend!”

“Jerome was awesome with the pups. He probably had more fun than they did!! I will continue to board with Jerome. He clearly cares for and enjoys having boarders.”

“Our doggy Faye had a fantastic time with Bryce. He texted daily updates with photos and our baby looked so happy in all of them! We definitely trust Bryce to watch Faye again and feel lucky to have found someone like him!”

“This was Bella’s first time to stay with Megan for multiple nights. She loved every minute of it and I know because Megan was fantastic at keeping me informed of how she was interacting with other dogs and what she was doing with her. I received many pictures that I could tell she was content. I will be using Megan on a regular basis so Bella can continue to have playmates and I know she will be well cared for.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bogey’s New Favorite Human! We’re so thankful to have found Edward B. for our English Lab, Bogey. He can be a bit bougie (especially about his water—filtered only, of course 😄), and Edward embraced his quirks with so much love and patience. We got daily updates, adorable photos, and sweet little notes that made us feel completely at ease while we were away. When we picked him up, he was calm, happy, and clearly very well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing we have someone we can trust 100% with our pup. Thank you, Edward , for loving Bogey like your own. We’ll absolutely be booking again!!”

“This is the first time I have used Debra and I have NO REGRETS!!! The meets and greet went well and the one night stay for our mini labradoodle (Andy) went very well. Plenty of pictures and our Andy seemed to enjoy himself. She was attentive to our comments when we dropped the dog off and provided feedback when we picked up the dog. We have booked Debra to provided service for us for two weeks while we are away in February, we now have peace of mind concerning the care for our Andy. Thanks for the very professional service.”
“I couldn't be happier with the care Laura provided for my dog over the two days she watched her. From the moment we met, it was clear she truly loves animals and treats them like family. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind. My pup came back happy, well-exercised, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive sitter. Thank you, Laura!”

“Heather is a kind, dog-loving sitter. She was responsive to all texts before and during the stay. I also received daily photos and brief status updates on Essie. I felt Essie was in good hands during our week away, and this helped me enjoy my vacation. Definitely would use Heather again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
