About: I am a former manager at a daycare and boarding facility, I have administered diabetes shots and other medications for animals. I plan to own my own daycare boarding facility in the future. Helping others and working with animals has always been my passion, I initially went to college for veterinary but decided that it wasn’t for me that a Daycare facility was best suited for me and my personality. I currently am a manager at a restaurant I can walk pets before 5:30 am but it didn’t give the option and anytime after 4 pm. I have three friendly dogs who are very socialized they go to doggy daycare and one elderly cat who is 16 and our yard is fenced in and I live down the street from a dog park as well!

“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Jodi and the care she gave my dog, Evy. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages about all the fun activities they enjoyed. Jodi truly created a safe, loving environment for dogs, and I felt completely at ease knowing Evy was in such great hands.”

“Kira was awesome with my lil baby Draco. He’s a Rottweiler lol but that’s what he is to me and how she treated him which I really appreciate. I felt comfortable being out of town with the updates she was sending me and updates! I’ll definitely be using her again in the future :)”

Cooper has so much energy, and Uriaha made sure he got his daily walks and plenty of playtime. Having them care for Cooper gave me peace of mind whenever I needed to travel. I'm so happy to have found a true home away from home for Cooper. I highly recommend them and would gladly book with them again!”

Our dog is afraid of fireworks and storms and they were able to help her be very comfortable despite it being a stormy 4th of July weekend! We returned to a very happy and relaxed dog. They sent photos and even a video during her stay, and we felt totally at ease that she was 100% well taken care of and given lots of love.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Callahan
Linda is one of the kindest people that we have met! From the first meeting with her, we could tell that our dog would be well loved and well taken care of. She genuinely loves dogs and treats them as her own. When we came to pick him up, I think that he wanted to stay! He was looking for her the next day at home! We highly recommend Linda and we will use her service again when needed.

This is the first time we’ve used Rover for our dog, and we are so happy we did! :) Taylor took wonderful care of our dog, Xena, and sent us several pictures and updates throughout our trip, which helped put our minds at ease that our dog was doing well and having fun while we were away, and allowed us to enjoy our vacation even more :) We truly appreciate Taylor’s kindness, flexibility, and compassionate care she demonstrated while keeping our beloved pet for us. We will definitely use her again in the future! :)

Linda was awesome. She kept us updated with pictures and let us know how our Lily (our dog) was doing. I know Lily was spoiled, just like at home, which made me feel good. But besides that she just really seems to love dogs and is super nice and she will be my first pick anytime I need to leave Lily.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
