About: I grew up around big dogs and have always had a love for animals! Most recently, I cared for my 3-year-old Boxer, doing the majority of her training and daily walks. I also have around 5 years of pet-sitting experience for family, friends, and neighbors in my community. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and am cat-friendly, too! As a full-time law student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend quality time with your pup! I’m available Mondays and Wednesdays after 3 PM, Thursdays before noon, and anytime Friday through Sunday. About: I’ve grown up with dogs in the household my entire life! I volunteer with a dog rescue group as well as dog rescue transports. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around dogs and spent nearly 16 years caring for my own two dogs, Ollie and Peaches, throughout their lives. I also had a dwarf hamster named Chestnut for two years. Today, I have a Border Collie named Shelby who keeps me very familiar with the energy, attention, attachment, and activity that can come with caring for an active dog! I also grew up around my grandmother’s many dogs, so being surrounded by animals and learning their different personalities has always felt very natural to me. Today, I regularly care for other people’s dogs and cats and have recently cared for as many as 10 different pets in a single month, including several that I care for every week. Because I’ve cared for such a variety of pets, I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and energy levels. I like to joke that I’m a bit of a “pet whisperer” because animals tend to warm up to me very quickly, even when they’re normally hesitant around new people. I’ve had several owners tell me they were surprised by how quickly their pet connected with me or showed affection toward me when that isn’t something they normally do with strangers. I never force an interaction and always let pets approach me and get comfortable at their own pace. I’m very calm and at peace when I’m around animals and I think they sense that about me. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether they need walks and playtime, lots of attention, or simply someone to keep them company, I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every animal I look after with the same love and attention I would give my own. Pet care is currently a big part of my daily routine, which gives me plenty of flexibility to accommodate different schedules. I’m a night owl, so I’m especially available in the afternoons, evenings, and late at night. I regularly care for several pets throughout the week and am happy to work around their usual routines whenever possible. My availability is more limited on Wednesday afternoons and evenings, but I'd be happy to try to make it work! Otherwise, my schedule is very flexible. I always follow each pet parent’s instructions and do my best to keep their pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home and pay close attention to feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any other specific care instructions you provide. I also take the time to learn each pet’s personality and comfort level so they can feel safe and relaxed with me. I'm happy to provide updates and I tend to send photos or videos during my visits so owners can have peace of mind while you’re away. I'm also very used to owners having cameras in their homes and am perfectly comfortable with that!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and have lived with multiple cat owners as well. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

About: I love all animals, big and small! Whether I need to make sure they don't pee on everything or chew up the house I can provide support and attention to your pup! I have a puppy myself so I know how difficult it can get. Regardless of age, weight or breed they all need a little company! I work out alot so if your pup is a runner or just requires a lot of exercise I can tire them out. Or if they just need a cuddle buddy I'm there too! I can handle any dietary restrictions, medical needs or just little quirks if needed. I also know CPR just in case it's ever needed. I love spending time with dogs (and cats) as much as I can!

It was an unexpected/emergency trip so there was no advanced planning but Evan rolled with it, found everything - food, litter, the house key (!) It really was last minute. She was also able to accommodate me on extremely short notice, as a sitter that I had lined up had to cancel just a few days before the trip due to a family emergency. Nancy stopped by at the right time every day to give Arthur consistent care, which is important for a cat that can be fussy and relies on routine. She told me that she enjoyed brushing cats' coats when I first met her, and when I got back, Arthur's coat was beautiful! Arthur clearly enjoyed Nancy's visits, and I'll be sure to call on her again the next time I take a trip.”
