“Charlayda, or “Layda” recently took care of our 4 dogs—2 11-mo olds, who sleep in the garage, are trained to bathroom on puppy pads, and a 4 and 5 year old who are totally family members who sleep on beds, love the outdoors, and live to please people! We went away for a military graduation for 6 days, and were nervous to use a “service” but our friend could not stay here, so we took a leap of faith with Rover and Charlayda. When she came for a Meet and Greet 4 days before we were leaving, we immediately could tell we were with a lover of dogs, someone knowledable who all 4 dogs quickly “took to.” All of our fears about leaving went away as she asked questions and took the time to get to know specifics about all 4. While away, we received photos, videos, and texts as requested. When we returned home, all the dogs were calm, happy, sat for treats better than before!, and we could just tell that Layda had earned an A++++ in every way. We never thought we could leave all of them. We were proved wrong!! She’s superb. We’re now thinking about a weekend away, something we considered impossible before!! We’re so grateful!!”

About: I own and run a grooming/boarding facility here in Jax. Petcare is my passion! Branching out to include petsitting as well, so as to offer a one-stop shop of sorts for all your pet care needs. I provide courier service to vet appts and can groom your pups should you need those services during your vacation! Being that I run my own business, I set my hours, so I can do the same when caring for your pets. I have vet tech experience and am a certified pet groomer. I can administer meds, assist with potty training needs, clean litter boxes, do light house cleaning and make your home appear lived in, ALL while entertaining your babies and keeping them safe. When I come to your home, your pets will be provided loads of love and attention, all while remaining where they feel most comfy, in THEIR home! Should grooming services be needed, I can provide that as well. All dogs will receive a free exit bath! This includes nail trimming and ear cleaning.

About: I have my own doggies, they are both 3! I’m used too picking up the pet care when parents leave to go out of town and just take stress off their shoulders! Friends and family, cats and dog i’ve always been the one they call. I’m used to very strategic routines with my baby’s so i’m willing to do the same for yours. Doing the best in every way to make my stay with them as comfortable as possible! I currently work 5 days a week 8-2pm and i’m looking too pick up something i’m actually interested in, We all know how a high school job can last after high school when it wasn’t planned and i’m very interested in baby sitting and pet sitting for people and just giving back the love i share with my animals where it’s needed! I have a fenced in yard for both of my puppies and everyday i come home and make sure they get plenty of play time with me. About: I have 8 pets of my own. 1 Dog (Cane Corso) and 7 cats, I also care for community animals as well. I have always walked my dogs, so I’m used to dog walking not just letting them out in the yard (if that’s what you’re looking for). I have fur-baby sat my friends and neighbors dogs. Most of the time it’s large breeds, like APBT, Akita, Shepherds. I used to have a Belgian Malinios as well, so I am familiar with high energy breeds. In my free time I also help my friend with her mobile pet care business. Since I have my own, I know how important it is to pay attention to the owner’s directions, when pet sitting. I have a full time job, and can do morning drop and evening drop ins. Depends on the days I can do middle of the day as well. It’s all based on your needs, and I would obviously not commit to anything that I can’t follow through with. I prefer a meet and greet with the owner and the pet before the actual service, as I want to make sure the pet is familiar with me, and also that I can follow the exact instructions the owner has for me.

About: I have cared for many animals over the past 18 years while managing a pet resort. I have also walked dogs during my lunch hour. I recently retired after 18 years in veterinary medicine and managing pet resort. I have always loved animals and have 6 dogs of my own. I have a 6 foot fenced yard and have 6 dogs of my own. My dogs are dog friendly and go to daycare often and play.

About: I’ve taken care of my personal dogs as well as family dogs for years. I love to play with them and just sit and cuddle with them as well. I am currently a graduate student at Jacksonville University. I am available after 2pm everyday, and on the weekends I can do all day! I am also usually up pretty late at nights so can do late night walks/sitting as well. I am a very trustworthy person. On walks I will make sure they don’t get into anything that may be harmful and always be prepared when in contact with other people/animals.
