About: I am currently on a pre veterinarian track at Jacksonville University. I have always loved working with animals from the zoo to vet clinics to my own animals. I have always loved to spend time with animals which is why I have decided to sign up for rover. I would love to express my passion and help others have complete comfort when leaving their furry friend. I want my clients to know they’re with someone who is passionate & experienced with all that is needed for their pets care. At home I have 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 bunnies, and 2 guinea pigs! About: i’ve always had pets growing up, cats, dogs, fish, bunny’s hamsters, etc. now i am petless and would love to give your pet attention and lovings I work full time and am available before work, before 8am and after 5pm Monday through Friday. i am available all day on the weekends I live in an apartment but i am happy to provide services at your home, in an environment your pet is familiar and comfortable in!

I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. About: I worked in the dog grooming industry for 20 years. I've bathed and walked every kind of dog! I love animals and at my age walking is all I'm up for now lol I'm retired but still need the love of a dog. The variety I had at the grooming shop has left me wanted it again. I have 2 small older dogs whom I've had since they we're puppies. But they sleep a lot and aren't up to walking anymore... So this is a happy alternative for me. I'm a strong 68 yr old woman who would take great care in walking your dog 😊
“Kevin and his wife were both so kind and supportive when caring for my rescue pup, Wrigley. My dog has extreme anxiety and some behavioral issues. But, Wrigley warmed up quickly to Kevin and his wife. They were very flexible with our last-minute schedule changes and understanding of my dog’s needs. About: I’ve loved animals since I can remember! I’ve rescued every pet imaginable at one point or another! I’ve volunteered at FCNMHP for over 10 years and I’m very active in finding every pet a forever home! I’ve worked at Publix for over 21 years and I am currently a manager on the south side of Jacksonville. I have a flexible schedule throughout the day and I’m able to take breaks when needed. I am free most evening during the week and weekend. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t fall in love with! Every animal deserves a full bowl of food and water, lots of pets, an unconditional love. Evan is a spectacular rover! He took such amazing care of our dogs. One of our dogs is very shy and unsure around new people and barks a ton but he warmed up very quickly to Evan during the meet and greet due largely to Evan’s calm demeanor and great way with animals. He took amazing care of our house and even helped us fix an issue with our pool pump leak while we were away. We are so glad to have found Evan and look forward to his next visit with our pups!
McKenzie stayed with our cat’s and dogs while we were away and she was wonderful! She was very sweet and patient with our pup Otis, he is very shy in the beginning. By the end of her stay I could tell he was very comfortable and happy with her! She sent lots of updates and we knew they were in great hands. We felt at ease knowing they were taken care of while we were away!
2 words..Life saver! Amber makes it easy for us to go out of town and feel comfortable and confident that our fur-seniors are being cared for. She always sends us the cutest pictures and sweetest updates of them both. Duke and Duchess absolutely lover her and so do we!
Bayli was absolutely amazing watching our two dogs over the weekend! She was incredibly communicative and responsive the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She sent tons of pictures and updates, and it was clear our dogs were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. She also took great care of our home and kept everything clean and in order, which we really appreciated coming back home to. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches and goes above and beyond to make sure both the pets and owners feel comfortable. We would 100% trust her with our dogs again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring dog sitter!
MAISY IS WONDERFUL! Honestly can’t say enough great things about my experience. Since it was my first time using Rover I was a bit nervous but she exceeded my expectations. She communicated constantly, sent me photos and had no issue sleeping on my couch with him (he’s a cuddler and needs the love). Also spent time real quality time with him outside, giving him his favorite bones and giving him lots of head scratches! I was skeptical because she only had one review at the time but it’s clear that experience was due to negligence from the owner who deliberately told lies. Dont be fooled, Maisy is an amazing dog sitter and human being. Thank you Maisy!
Taylor did an absolutely wonderful job watching our two dogs in our home. Her communication was excellent the entire time, which allowed me to truly rest easy and enjoy our trip knowing the dogs were in such great hands. We came back to happy pups and a perfectly cared-for house. I would happily use her again and highly recommend her to anyone!
Atreyu took amazing care of Nico and we couldn’t be happier. He followed every single instruction carefully, kept us updated throughout the stay, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Communication was excellent from start to finish. He sent regular updates and clearly paid close attention to Nico’s routines and needs. It’s obvious he genuinely cares about the pets he looks after. On top of that, he left our place in excellent condition. Everything was clean, organized, and just as we left it. We would absolutely trust Atreyu again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible, attentive, and reliable sitter.
Risa took excellent care of our boy for a solid 15 days straight while we vacationed. She stayed in contact with us & sent pics to let us know he was eating, playing & doing well. He is a very emotional dog &, in the past, would get depressed & not eat. When we returned home we could tell he had been well cared for!! Would absolutely recommend Risa & we give her HIGH PRAISES for certain! Thank you, Risa!
Hallie left my mida at ease while I was away for a few days. From the initial meet and greet all the way through me returning home, I felt so comfortable leaving my guy Gideon with her.
