I work full time during the week Monday - Friday but my schedule is very flexible. This gives me something I enjoy doing in my down time :)

I like to think I am very gentle with my own animals and I'm always super cautious with them as well. I always put mine on a leash when I take them outside, solely because when I take them out I usually give them a good 5-10 min walk to stretch. When I house sit for my boss, he has a giant fenced in backyard and I spend hours playing fetch with his retrievers.

What do they like to do? Are they good around other dogs? Any dietary restrictions? House rules? Do you have specific training practices with your animals?
A typical day
The best place to take walks is in a park with plenty of trails and some place also very open. I think the most important thing is making sure dogs get plenty of exercise. With my own dogs, I tend to take them on 30 min - 1 hour long walks, and then if they still have some energy, I’ll play fetch with them. I love taking my dogs on joyrides just so they’re not cooped up in the house all day. I’ve never been able to take my dogs to dog parks but if given the opportunity, I would love to!

Pet care experience
Hey y’all, my name is Evan. I’m a recent graduate from the University of North Georgia. I just recently moved to Jacksonville and am looking forward to planting some new roots. I have spent my entire life around animals and tend to prefer them to people 🤣 My Mom and I have been actively involved with the Alabama Boston Terrier Rescue, which is where both of my dogs were rescued from. I’ve owned and taken care of dogs that have been only a few weeks old to over 15 years old. I’ve handled it all. I’ve always been the type of person to put all of my animals needs before my own, and I intend on doing the same with yours as well.
Reviews

Evan is absolutely incredible. He’s communicative, gives frequent updates, and leaves our home cleaner than when he came. Our pups love him.

Very appreciative of Evan stepping in to sit for our dog and cats. He was very communicative and took great care of our four footed family. Would highly recommend Evan.

Did two drop in sits. Was told my dog had an “accident” during the first visit (assumed pee) but not told until afterwards it was vomit. This should be clearly communicated immediately. Came home to more caked vomit in my dogs crate and an injury on his nose. Dog was sick for a week afterwards. Still dont know what he was fed or if he ate something. When trying to get more information on what happened and what was fed to him, was ghosted. Horrifying experience. Find a different sitter.

Evan is incredible! He watched our two pups Oreo and sukie for the evening. Sukie can be skeptical of new humans and immediately loved him. He provided great care, updates, and left my house as clean as he found it. I would 10/10 recommend him again.
