Hi! I’m Shawna and I’m a house wife/stay at home mom of two girls ages 5 years old and 2.5 year old. We currently do not have any pets at home and I would love to care for yours. My life consists of picking up groceries and taking kids to and from school during the week. Other than that me or my husband are at home. I would love to mimic whatever routine you have in your own home for your pet so they can have the most comfortable stay if you choose to board or do doggy daycare with me.

I live on an acre in Bushland with full fenced yard so potty breaks, playtime, or just a break from being indoors won’t be a problem. I live in a nice neighborhood so evening or early morning walks can be included in pet care if requested. I always check the yard for snakes before I let my kids out back during snake season so I will always check the yard before I let our four legged guest outside as well. I enjoy sending updates and photos of your pet to you while you’re away! Contact me so we can set up a meet and greet if that would make you more comfortable before booking with me.

I strive to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every dog in my care. For this reason, I ask that all dogs staying in my home are FULLY house trained and able to communicate when they need to go outside to potty. If your dog is still working on potty training or has a history of frequent accidents indoors I am probably not the right sitter for you. I want to make sure every stay is a positive experience for both your dog and future dog guests in my home. Thank you for understanding! Please let me know any important details about your pet right from the start so I can make note. Dietary restrictions and any health issues. I'm happy to discuss any concerns or special needs during a Meet & Greet. It’s important to me that your dog has the most safe and comfortable stay with me.

I like to let the dogs out in the backyard so they can get their energy out and explore the environment. If your dog likes to go on walks I usually will walk a mile or longer with them. A game of fetch is always on the list of things to do! Please tell me your expectations and how I can care best for your fur baby.

In my personal opinion I believe it’s less stressful on dogs to stay in a family home vs a kennel and that’s why I hope you choose me to sit for your dogs. I have owned dogs prior to having kids, I love animals, and will treat your pet as my own. All I ask is that all dog BOARDING and DAY CARE inquiries please be sure your fur baby/babies are child friendly before requesting me to care for your dogs. Please look at my reviews! Client satisfaction and providing dogs with love and attention is my top priority.

I left my two year old Kaz with Shawna over Thanksgiving weekend when I was in a pinch to find a sitter and I couldn’t have been more pleased with Shawna and her family! Shawna and her family were super sweet to me but also to Kaz for welcoming him in their home! She went above and beyond, and Kaz had a fantastic vacation himself! Shawna is the perfect dog sitter!
We left our 13 year old dog with Shawna and family while we took an extended trip. He loves kids and does well with a routine. Our dog was so happy there. I wish we had found her sooner. Shawna followed our pets routine bed and medication routine, and sent us pictures. She went way beyond expectation!! He has been anxious sometimes when we were away, but he attached to her home & family so well-didn’t show any anxiety while we were gone. We will use Shawna again when we leave town. She was exceptional! Thanks again, Shawna!!
