“Absolutely wonderful experience! Estefania was so sweet, attentive, and patient — the cats instantly felt comfortable around her, which says a lot. She handled everything with such care and warmth. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such loving hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly special to care for their pets!”

“Mara was absolutely awesome! Very communicative and friendly! My dog is shy & she was comfortable with her. I’ll definitely be booking with Mara again!”

“Kimmeth was great! Went above and beyond all my expectations. Will definitely being using her again. Thank you Kimmeth for giving my babies love and support while providing me peace of mind.”
“I was so nervous about using Rover for the first time but Deborah was so nice and understanding. She sent me the cutest pictures and videos of my baby to let me know exactly what was going on everyday. She also went above and beyond and got my mail for me, took beretta for walks, and even cleaned the living room for me to return home. I could not recommend her more to anyone else!!”

“Robin did a fantastic job! She kept our cats happy and well cared for while we were away. She's reliable, responsive, and stays connected with lots of updates, which gave us real peace of mind. On top of that, she went above and beyond by helping with a leaking A/C issue—something we truly appreciated. Highly recommend Robin for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs. My family had a Bichon Frise named Lily, whom we welcomed when I was in first grade. She was a beloved member of our family and lived to be 16½ years old. We currently have another Bichon Frise named Pearl, who is 5 years old. I truly love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether that means taking them on walks, playing with them, or simply cuddling and giving them attention. I am comfortable caring for dogs and understand the importance of providing them with love, exercise, and companionship. I work full-time, but I am off every Tuesday and Wednesday and available for dog sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits on those days. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs. My family had a Bichon Frise named Lily who lived to be 16½ years old, and we currently have another Bichon Frise named Pearl, who is 5 years old and is our family dog. I love spending time with dogs, taking them on walks, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I live in an apartment in a great, walkable area that is perfect for daily walks. Our community also has multiple fenced-in dog parks nearby, giving dogs plenty of opportunities to exercise, play, and explore safely. I love spending time with dogs, whether that's going for walks, playing fetch, or simply giving them lots of attention and affection. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owner is away.
“Anastasiia & Vadim were great. They helped us out last moment on Easter. We booked 2 drop ins/walks for the same day. Both sessions they arrived right on time. They were communicative, took lots of photos, & provided what we all look for in a sitter: peace of mind our dog is in good hands. Would recommend & will book in future thanks again”

“Marianne was absolutely amazing! She cared for my very old pup, Papa (16 years young), while I was out of town for 2 days, and I honestly cannot recommend her enough. We first connected through Rover a few months ago, but that trip ended up falling through. This time, I had a short trip and decided to finally give Rover a try—and I’m so glad I did! Marianne was right on time, spent so much quality time with Papa, and sent me plenty of pictures that kept me at ease while I was away. She was gentle, patient, and truly attentive to his needs. On top of all that, her prices are beyond reasonable. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and trustworthy to care for your furry family member—look no further. Marianne is amazing!”

“Billi provided an exceptional experience caring for my two cats, Mimi and Pin-get, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Mimi is my 9-year-old tuxedo cat and is normally very shy around new people, so I was amazed when she immediately felt comfortable with Billi during the meet and greet. That moment alone reassured me that Billi truly has a natural connection with animals. During each drop-in visit, Billi kept me consistently updated with photos and videos, which meant so much to me. Seeing Mimi happily sitting on her lap and watching both of my fur babies interacting comfortably with her made my heart smile and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Billi is professional, reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring. She clearly takes the time to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Her communication and thoughtful updates made the entire experience stress-free. If you are looking for someone trustworthy who will care for your pets as if they were her own, I highly recommend Billi. I will absolutely be booking her again for future visits with Mimi and Pin-get.”

“Alexandra took excellent care of my kitty. She was punctual, very communicative, and sent lots of pictures throughout my trip. Most importantly, my cat was happy, healthy, and well cared for when I returned home. I would gladly book with her again.”

About: Lifelong dog lover and current med student here! Raised alongside a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six, I’ve spent nearly my whole life caring for pups. My medical training makes me exceptionally detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure, while my inner kid just wants to provide the same love and attention I give my own family dogs. I’m a med student taking a gap year to study for my Step 1 exam. Since I study from home nearly 24/7, your pup will have constant companionship, a quiet environment, and endless study-break cuddles!. I’ve raised and loved a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six years old, so dog care is second nature to me. Living right in Las Olas, I offer a premium, ultra-reliable, and highly attentive environment. My medical background means your pet is in the safest, most responsible hands possible!
“Another awesome job with Creed. She takes pride in making sure your pet is comfortable while you are away. That in itself makes for a stress free trip for the parents.”

“Alyssa was incredible with the pups. I had a last minute trip and she came to the rescue in a short notice. Not only that, she went above and beyond with the 4 dogs and gave them all the care they needed. To my luck she is near by so I will be definitely using her services more often. Highly recommend 💯”

About: I’ve always been the go-to person friends and family trust with their dogs. I take pride in showing up, paying attention, and treating every pup with patience, care, and love. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and looked after — just like they would at home. I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my day. I have plenty of flexibility to take dogs on walks, play, and give them attention throughout the day. Since I’m home most of the time (and available on weekends too), I’m able to keep a consistent routine that makes pets feel comfortable and cared for. I don’t have a yard, but that just means more adventures! I take dogs out several times a day for walks, playtime, and park trips. I focus on keeping their routine consistent — feeding, play, and rest — so they feel right at home whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them.
“I am super blessed that I found Dawn! She takes care of my cat in the best way possible and also gives her medicine that my cat is on! Dawn is the best!”
“Alyssa has been amazing with our one year old German Shepherd. He’s very sensitive and needs some patience, TLC, and understanding. Alyssa has a calming energy matched with leadership and good animal intuition that our GSD has responded remarkably quickly to. Alyssa came over for a meet n greet - took the time to learn his quirks, training, and personality then came over again for a one on one walk. Our GSD runs away, barks, and hides when new people try to clip his leash but she sent a pic twenty minutes later on a walk with him. We were not only impressed with her care, demeanor, and skill but also extremely grateful/relieved to have found a sitter like Alyssa. Highly recommend her for all dog sitting needs and breeds!”

Every time I go on vacation, I worry about leaving my pup, Viking. He has never been boarded and is most comfortable in his own environment, so finding someone I could trust was very important to me. Taylor came by to meet Viking beforehand, and right away I felt great about her. She had such a warm, positive vibe, and Viking immediately felt comfortable around her. That gave me so much peace of mind knowing he would be in good hands while I was away. Taylor was reliable, caring, and treated Viking with kindness and attention. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. I would love to have her do drop-in visits for Viking again in the future!

I usually use friends or family to watch my senior husky, but didn't have anyone last minute and so I hired Alyssa. She took care of my Senior Husky and made sure to spend quality time with her during each visit. She's reliable, dependable, and was always on time. Both my husky and I appreciate her for taking good care of my pup while I was away. I will gladly recommend Alyssa!

Karen always goes above and beyond! Our sweet girl is disabled (Manx syndrome) and has very unique care needs, and we always feel completely comfortable leaving Tilly in Karen’s care. We can’t recommend her enough. It’s very evident through the care she provides and the work she does just how much she loves animals 🐈⬛🐈

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
