Information Kimmeth P. would like to know about your pet
*** I do not mind last minute requests *but* I do REQUIRE a meet & greet for NEW CLIENTS and in the interest of a successful stay I will not accept a same day request without any prior meetings - sorry for any inconvenience *** That said, I like to be aware of your pet’s behavioral inclinations or special needs ahead of time so I can plan for their visit - this would include any house-training issues, fear aggression, external triggers, or pronounced reactivity toward other animals I might encounter on a walk for instance. I have no breed bias that I am aware of, everything for me is about personality and mutual fit - to that end if your dog is especially hyper, fear-aggressive or does not have great boundary relationships with cats we might not be a great fit. My 2 cats are not especially likely approach or otherwise take great interest in your dog (likewise they prefer not to be physically harassed by visitors in our home), one reason I like to have a test visit before booking is just to get a feel for their mutual reception so I can be aware of how much separation might be required. Sometimes it's all about the planning.
A typical day
I will generally take boarders/day-care dogs on walks in my neighborhood when they are not enjoying the fenced-in privacy of my back yard or playing with toys inside my home. I give them as much individualized much quality time as I can as opposed to a kennel-like environment but occasionally (if permitted) I may visit a park with them, take them on short errands or perhaps attend a pre-approved play date with other familiar dogs. Beyond that I am open to discussing ways to enrich your pet's stay, although I must inform you that due to a health condition I may not be physically able to meet the demands of a high-energy dogs that requires lots of rigorous exercise - I adore them, I just know my own physical limits and want to be forthright in meeting expectations.

Pet care experience
*** Please be advised due to Muscular Dytrophy I may not be able to service dwellings with multiple stories, stairs with no hand rails or steep boat docks with no hand rails. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, please understand stairs with hand rails are fine, and if in doubt please reach out and I’ll be happy to consider your situation*** This isn't just a gig for me I genuinely love animals and I consider them a blessing. While I am currently a pet parent to one elder kitty I grew up with all sort of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets, parakeets, ducks and chickens so I have lots of love to give to all your furry, feathered and finned friends. Petsitting has been a great way of enjoying more pet companionship than I could ever house myself and giving their humans some peace of mind when they are away from their beloved pets is as personally gratifying as befriending the pets themselves. My half-hour drop-in visits and dog walks are priced the same so you choose the focus of their visit - whether you want your dogs to get some exercise during the day or you would just like to make sure your precious pup gets their dinner and a potty break while you stay late at the office or when you have to travel I can help. Of course CATS need loving too - my cat visits are reduced in price and includes feeding, water change and one kitty litter scooping per visit - I let shy cats set the pace of engagement and will dutifully check that the food is being eaten and litter output is normal regardless of their desire for contact and I will certainly give more outgoing types the attention and stimulating interaction they need to avoid their getting bored and making mischief while you are away. Prices listed are for the first pet, additional pets with similar care needs can be included at reduced rate. You may also be happy to learn Rover drop-in visits may now be booked at an hour long duration if you feel your pet would benefit from some extra quality time. For an added fee extra caretaker chores such as watering plants and bringing the mail or chauffeuring your pet may be added to your booking, just ask during our meet and greet about ways we might be able to extend the scope of care while you are away (even if I am not staying there). *** NEW CLIENTS: I do not mind last minute requests *but* I REQUIRE a meet & greet for new clients I will not likely accept a same day request without having met - sorry for any inconvenience but I feel it is best for a successful low-stress interaction with your pet ***

Reviews

Kimmeth is very professional and extremely kind. She is very thorough and certainly knows what she is doing when it comes to taking care of animals. She sent updates along with photos daily, which put us at ease when we were out of town. Thank you so much!

Kimmeth was extremely professional, sweet, patient and communicative during the visits. My pup and I just moved to the area and he has been experiencing alot of anxiety and requires some patience during this transition. She made this experience so easy by communicating with me throughout her time with my pup and being a calming energy for him. Since he is hesitant around new people especially entering his home, having a calming presence and someone who really understands dogs is super helpful. I will 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter and will be happily rebook her for the future.

I can’t say enough good things about our dog walker, Kimmeth. She is truly one of the best people to care for my two dogs. She is consistently reliable, incredibly compassionate, and treats them as if they were her own. It gives me such peace of mind knowing they are in such caring and capable hands. My dogs absolutely adore her, and it’s clear she genuinely loves what she does. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their pets.

Great communication, descriptions & photos. Will definitely be asking again to babysit my baby girl
