“Marianne was amazing! The dogs loved her, she was on time, and went above and beyond all expectations. Cookie, Poppy and Bella will be booking regular visits going forward. Highly recommend and such a joy to have help. Thank so much Marianne!”

“Kristina is the best! Always very responsive and provides lots of updates and cute pictures of my kitty Glow when she babysits her. She gives me so much peace of mind and makes me feel like I can truly enjoy my travels when I’m away and not worry.”

“Kimmeth is an exceptional sitter! Super communicative, friendly, and upfront - and just showed that she cared at every step. I felt like my cat was really in good hands.”

About: Lifelong dog lover and current med student here! Raised alongside a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six, I’ve spent nearly my whole life caring for pups. My medical training makes me exceptionally detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure, while my inner kid just wants to provide the same love and attention I give my own family dogs. I’m a med student taking a gap year to study for my Step 1 exam. Since I study from home nearly 24/7, your pup will have constant companionship, a quiet environment, and endless study-break cuddles!. I’ve raised and loved a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six years old, so dog care is second nature to me. Living right in Las Olas, I offer a premium, ultra-reliable, and highly attentive environment. My medical background means your pet is in the safest, most responsible hands possible!
“Yasmine communicated well throughout the stay and contacted me quickly anytime something came up, including when one of my dogs had diarrhea. She would even sit with my dog to make sure she ate and to ensure everything was okay. My dogs were happy and comfortable with her, and the house was left in great condition. She truly went above and beyond, which I really appreciated.”

“Agustina did a great job taking care of my cats while we were away. She provides prompt responses and detailed updates after each visit. We already have her booked again.”

“I was so nervous about using Rover for the first time but Deborah was so nice and understanding. She sent me the cutest pictures and videos of my baby to let me know exactly what was going on everyday. She also went above and beyond and got my mail for me, took beretta for walks, and even cleaned the living room for me to return home. I could not recommend her more to anyone else!!”

“Sandy is the best! She is always on time, spends quality time with my fur baby and leaves my home nice and tidy after every visit. Sandy is truly a gem and I’m given the peace of mind when away from home!”

“Estefania was a perfect sitter! She went above and beyond for me while I was away. My cat was in love with her and he looks forward to her next visit. Thank you!”

“Aaron is AWESOME! He came and helped me out big time when I had a sudden emergency stay at the hospital. He went above and beyond with my dog Tank. He took great of him in my absence and I can’t be more appreciative. Truly 5 star!💯”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid and is something I just love. Whenever I go to see a friend who owns a dog, I spend more time with the dog often times! I don’t have any of my own at the moment since my partner has allergies, but being there to dog sit will allow me to spread that love and care with them. I have watched many of my friends dogs overnight or just for the day due to my hybrid schedule - which is wonderful! I work a hybrid role - so I might be able to offer walks during the day on some days of the week. But weekends work best for me to stay over and dog sit (for those traveling or don’t want their dog in someone else’s home). This will help build trust and love with the little ones, while keeping them in the comfort of their own home. I always want to ask, what are the do’s and dont’s since every dog is different. I want to make sure they are able to relax and enjoy the company as much as I would. If I’m able to stay at the sitters home, I will routinely send updates or photos (as desired) and give them peace of mind to know that they’re little ones are safe with me. I absolutely adore dogs and I want to make them as loved as they deserve. If I take them for walks, recap anything that they did to report back to the owner as well.

“Marissa has been so helpful! Our puppy is so energetic, so young, and honestly a handful and Marissa has more than kept up. She makes sure our pup is cared for and she keeps us updated with everything that happens, we feel so comfortable with her around Winston. He can be a little needy, and truthfully so is his dad (lol) and she has been happy to help with all of our specific instructions. We couldn’t have had a better experience!”

“Nicole was absolutely fantastic with my Shepherd. She was super patient flexible and took great care of my dog needs. Will be seeing you again thank you so much.”

“Alyssa has been amazing with our one year old German Shepherd. He’s very sensitive and needs some patience, TLC, and understanding. Alyssa has a calming energy matched with leadership and good animal intuition that our GSD has responded remarkably quickly to. Alyssa came over for a meet n greet - took the time to learn his quirks, training, and personality then came over again for a one on one walk. Our GSD runs away, barks, and hides when new people try to clip his leash but she sent a pic twenty minutes later on a walk with him. We were not only impressed with her care, demeanor, and skill but also extremely grateful/relieved to have found a sitter like Alyssa. Highly recommend her for all dog sitting needs and breeds!”
“Gary was so helpful and attentive in my time of need, completed all the things I needed to feel my cat was safe and sound while I was away. He was incredibly easy to get ahold of, provided written descriptions of what was performed and took photos of the whole process. I’m so grateful for his help, because peace of mind is priceless.”

“Gheraldine did a good job with my cat. Feeding daily - changing the water, cleaning the litter box and giving my cat affection. She communicated if she would be late or early. I do recommend her.”

About: For over 10 years, I've cared for dogs of all kinds for friends and family. I've provided walks, feeding, playtime, house sitting, and in home boarding. Pets always receive dependable loving attention. Since I work from home full time, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention, timely walks, and drop-ins throughout the day. I can also work on the go, making it relatively easy to adapt to each pet's needs and routine. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment that’s perfect for small to medium-sized dogs. Since I work from home, I’m able to spend the whole day with them, making sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. Liraz is the best! She is 1000% reliable and responsive, communicates frequently and shares updates and pics. Our cat is always happy to see her and I have complete peace of mind knowing that our cat is truly loved and cared for. Liraz goes above and beyond in her care!
Marissa has been so helpful! Our puppy is so energetic, so young, and honestly a handful and Marissa has more than kept up. She makes sure our pup is cared for and she keeps us updated with everything that happens, we feel so comfortable with her around Winston. Every time I go on vacation, I worry about leaving my pup, Viking. He has never been boarded and is most comfortable in his own environment, so finding someone I could trust was very important to me. Taylor came by to meet Viking beforehand, and right away I felt great about her. She had such a warm, positive vibe, and Viking immediately felt comfortable around her. That gave me so much peace of mind knowing he would be in good hands while I was away. Taylor was reliable, caring, and treated Viking with kindness and attention. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. I would love to have her do drop-in visits for Viking again in the future!

Page was excellent! She was super communicative, handled everything like a pro, took AMAZING photos of my boy, and handled my OCD with the litter like we’ve known each other forever! I have literally not had a better experience with anyone on Rover. She stayed extra, loved Loki like her own, and was generally so so amazing. She helped my anxiety with leaving him for so long! Could not have been a better fit. Page is top notch and I will be booking with her for the foreseeable future, even some walks with Loki! Thank you again, Page!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
