“Henry was amazing! From minute he met our dogs, we knew they would be in great hands. Henry did a great job of handling our three energetic dogs, calming their excitement, and playing with them during his visit. While he was watching them, Henry sent detailed reports and photos, and it’s obvious the dogs loved their time with Henry! We would absolutely book again.”

“Yasmine communicated well throughout the stay and contacted me quickly anytime something came up, including when one of my dogs had diarrhea. She would even sit with my dog to make sure she ate and to ensure everything was okay. My dogs were happy and comfortable with her, and the house was left in great condition. She truly went above and beyond, which I really appreciated.”

“Alexandra took excellent care of my kitty. She was punctual, very communicative, and sent lots of pictures throughout my trip. Most importantly, my cat was happy, healthy, and well cared for when I returned home. I would gladly book with her again.”

“Melody was super sweet with my senior dog Beau. Melody is easy to communicate with and was very responsive to booking requests and messaging of background information to make sure that we were the right fit. She obviously loves animals and she took great care of not only my pup but my home during an extended drop-in visit. I will definitely re-book care for Beau with Melody again in the future.”

“Alyssa was incredible with the pups. I had a last minute trip and she came to the rescue in a short notice. Not only that, she went above and beyond with the 4 dogs and gave them all the care they needed. To my luck she is near by so I will be definitely using her services more often. Highly recommend 💯”

About: Caring for animals has been a meaningful part of my life for many years, including raising and caring for my own beloved dog, Nina, for over 16 years through every stage of her life, from energetic younger years to the extra patience and attentiveness that come with senior care. In addition to caring for my own pet, I’ve regularly looked after dogs for friends, both in my home and in theirs, and I also have experience caring for cats. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I believe consistency is incredibly important when caring for animals. Whether it’s maintaining feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, or simply respecting the structure pets are used to, I make it a priority to follow your care instructions closely. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m dependable, organized, attentive to detail, and committed to keeping pets safe and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable care that fits seamlessly into both your schedule and your pet’s daily routine. Having been a devoted pet owner myself, I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you feel completely comfortable trusting with your pet’s care. I know pets are family, and I take that responsibility seriously. I believe great pet care starts with paying close attention to details and following each owner’s instructions carefully, whether that involves feeding schedules, walk preferences, medications, household rules, or recognizing changes in a pet’s behavior. I work hard to maintain the routines pets are familiar with so they feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always a priority, both during visits and on walks, and I’m attentive to ensuring pets remain safe, comfortable, and properly supervised at all times. I also believe communication matters, so you can expect regular updates and check-ins for added peace of mind. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space, attentive to security, and committed to leaving your home exactly as I found it.

“Rachelle was a fantastic sitter for my cats! She was easy to contact and responded to messages in a timely manner. My kitties took to her immediately, and I was pleasantly surprised to see pictures of my normally shy babies sitting in her lap! She also left the cat bowls and litter boxes very clean, and even took out the trash without being asked. Leaving my cats under Rachelle's care gave me great piece of mind on my week-long trip, and I would highly recommend her. Thank you, Rachelle! :)”

About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

Sandra is committed and keeps an amazingly good schedule considering her full time obligations - I really respect her work ethic, reliability and follow-through. Though the thing I most appreciate personally is just how caring and attentive she always is to my precious elder cat Molly. Thank you Sandra for letting me vacation with peace of mind knowing you’ve got Molly’s back and she’s going to get her medication. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the 2nd time Angie came over for my chop. She even stayed a little bit longer than what I paid for she is really great with my dog and I'm thankful that she has been able to give my dog company while I'm at work I know she goes above and beyond what I ask for

Grateful to have found Marianne on Rover when my regular cat sitter was unavailable. She took the time to get to know my cats and was patient with the picky one who eventually came around and was friendly. Marianne was reliable, responsible, and on time, kept in touch and was easy to reach.

Melody was absolutely amazing with our dogs! She took wonderful care of our two Chihuahuas and Boston Terrier, making sure they were well fed, happy, loved, and got plenty of walks. It was such a relief knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. She was attentive to each of their individual needs and treated them like her own. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our dogs and would absolutely recommend Melody to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving dog walker!

This is the second time I have asked Gary to look after my cats while I was away on vacation. I’m still floored by how attentive and reliable he is! He is a kind and thoughtful person who is a very dependable sitter, checking in with me regularly and providing updates on the cats’ day-to-day and overall wellbeing. I highly recommend Gary to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter. He goes above and beyond to make sure your babies are well taken care of!

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
