“Marianne was amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. She is very caring and attentive, we felt we could count on her and that our cat was in great hands. I will book her again next time we are away from home. Thank you so much for the great service! :)”

“On an emergency last minute notice Delaney came in and helped me and my family out with our pitbull , she took care of so much and went above and beyond to make sure we were up to date letting us know if any issues occurred any questions . She was super informative and very very professional. Couldn’t thank her enough for the peace of mind my wife and I had during our vacation to know we had someone to rely on when family and friends couldn’t absolutely wonderful .”
“Catherine did a great job taking care of my boxer, Cash. Since he’s a larger dog and can be a bit anxious, I was a little worried leaving him while I was away, but she handled him very well and made the whole experience stress-free.”

About: My home is peaceful and safe. The pets have 24 hour care with plenty of attention and space if they need. I pet sit regularly and am very trustworthy. I have a large yard and a safe neighborhood. Pets will receive plenty of care and attention. I work from home and have freedom of schedule so any needs the pet has will be met. I have a large fenced yard for the pet to be outdoors. I have a safe neighborhood to walk the dog(s) in. The dog will feel happy and loved.

“Magda has been a blessing. She's always there when you need her this is my second time using her services. Trusting someone with your pet isn't easy but Magda is so professional and good with my China that when I'm away I have peace of mind that my baby is in good hands. I travel often and will use Magda again. ”
“Chantil has been great dealing with our two dogs, one of which has problems meeting strangers. They now are happy to see her, and Chantil has been very accommodating, and thorough.”

About: Lover of all animals and things “friend-shaped.” I have 3 family dogs and adopted my cat, Venus, 5 years ago. I’ve grown up my entire life with at least 2 dogs in the home at the same time, and the most being 6. My family began rescuing pit bulls in 2007, so growing up with dogs, especially large ones, allows me to feel extremely comfortable around them and understand their body language. I have lived with dogs of all sizes and have lived with multiple cats at time. I would love to help you feel comforted while you are away from home, by knowing that your pet(s) is/are in loving and careful hands. I have a reliable means of transportation and I am currently working a part-time, completely remote and flexible job, so I would be able to work around your schedule fully. Just let me know. I can adapt to any requirements necessary for your dog/cat. For dogs, I would prefer to walk them with a harness rather than just a collar. I can take your cat on a walk too, if they are comfortable with it—either with a well-fit harness, cat backpack, or stroller. I would like to learn about your pet beforehand to understand any specific details about them. For example, I have a dog who doesn’t like when people touch his ears, but I have another that loves it. My cat, Venus, loves to be held, but one of my old roommate’s cats, Sage, did not. General information like that.
About: I have been taking care of animals for 10+ years this doesn't just include my own, I have experience working in many different shelters allowing me the opportunity to handle many different animals and learn basic training techniques. I currently work a flexible on call jon which allows me plenty of time to take care of animals, i am also always off on the weekends allowing me to take care of animals anytime on the weekends. I ensure that all of the pets I care for and even the ones I have at home are on the best diets along with getting plenty of exercise.
“Jodi is an excellent cat sitter, she took such a great care of our kitties! She is following instructions, and we had plenty, and kept her eyes on details. Thank you once again! 🫶🏻”

“Jill was amazing with our 2 dogs! It was the 1st time using a sitter and was extremely comfortable and satisfied with her. Would definitely consider using Jill in the future should the need arise and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Jazmin was an amazing sitter for our little girl. Our cat is very shy and stand offish but Jazmin made sure she was well cared for fed and loved. Best cat sitter in south fl.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and patience I give every pet. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to leave your furry family member with someone you can trust. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether that means keeping up with feeding schedules, going on walks, providing playtime, giving extra attention to senior pets, or simply offering companionship and comfort, I believe every pet deserves personalized care. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to the little details that make pets feel happy and secure. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m committed to following your instructions carefully while making sure your pet feels at home. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is being loved and cared for. While I’m new to Rover, I’m excited for the opportunity to build trust with families and create a positive experience for both you and your pets. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I enjoy spending time with animals and creating a calm, caring environment for them. I’m able to dedicate time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, and providing companionship while making sure each pet’s individual routine is followed. I live in a house with a backyard. Big space for your pup to run around in. I provide a calm and welcoming space where they can relax, play, and receive plenty of affection. I understand that every pet has different needs, so I adjust my care based on their energy level, age, habits, and personality.
About: I have been pet sitting off and on as needed for different families over the past 10 years. I enjoy making a pet feel loved when their loved ones are away. I’m currently working part time from 12-6pm. I can do morning walks and check ins , I am free on the weekends. My house is also always available to house any animal as needed. I enjoy all animals and have a daughter who loves to cuddle and play with them as well. Send me a message and we can work out the details. Last minute plans are no worries for me. I am here to help. I live in a 2/2 apartment, about 1200 sq feet. It’s big and open. I have a back porch; we have a bunch of dog walking stations. I have a 15-year-old daughter who loves all animals, and they all love her back. She can sit on the floor and play with them for hours; she also likes to read books to them. I have a 9-year-old black female cat, who is very loving and lazy. My cat typically stays away from dogs as she is a scaredy cat, she has been around them with no problems as well as other cats. My cat is current with all her shots. I also have a 5-year-old white cat who is up to date on shots as well, they are both indoor cats who get along with other animals, and humans.

“Gheraldine did a good job with my cat. Feeding daily - changing the water, cleaning the litter box and giving my cat affection. She communicated if she would be late or early. I do recommend her.”

“Alexandrea was nothing short of amazing! To say she helped us enjoy our trip away from our fur babies would be an understatement. Knowing she was looking after our dogs and caring for them while we were out of town was reassuring. Alexandrea was professional, reliable, dependable, and communicative! We will definitely request her services in the future! Also, big shout out to the Rover app! Game changer for us! Very user friendly and trustworthy! Thank you Rover and Alexandrea! You made a difficult situation (being away from our dogs) doable!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, especially senior pups who need extra patience, gentleness, and love. Growing up, I had two senior dogs, a 17 year old Poodle and a 15 year old Shih Tzu, so I’m very familiar with caring for older dogs, understanding their routines, and recognizing when they need a little extra support or comfort. I currently have a one-year-old Shih Tzu who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, so I’m experienced with both young, energetic dogs and calmer, older companions. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full-time but only three days a week, which gives me great flexibility for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your dog’s specific routine, whether that means quiet walks, playtime, medication schedules, or just extra cuddles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby 💕 I work three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets while you’re busy or away. My home is calm and pet-friendly, and my dog Momo provides gentle companionship for dogs who enjoy being around other pets and friendly playtime together.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
