“Marianne was amazing! The dogs loved her, she was on time, and went above and beyond all expectations. Cookie, Poppy and Bella will be booking regular visits going forward. Highly recommend and such a joy to have help. Thank so much Marianne!”

“Omer & Diana made us feel completely at ease while we were away. I loved seeing all the pictures of our 2 cats and Great Dane they took during their visits. We were also grateful they could help us out on short notice. In addition they revised our booking on the front and back end due to our travel schedule . They love animals and are very tech savvy! Great combination! I highly recommend them and you will be glad you booked them knowing your fur babies are in great hands.”

“Stella was amazing with our sweet kitty. This was our first time using her, and through the videos and photos Stella sent we could tell they bonded right away. In fact, our girl turned into a huge chatter box whenever she would see Stella, and that made us feel so at ease. We would gladly use Stella again without hesitation.”

“This was our first week with Jodi, and it was great! Jodi is very caring, and won my Drogo over right away. She’s always on time and quick to respond to any message; I know my Drogo is in good hands when she cares for him. Highly recommended.”
About: I absolutely love caring for cats! I have an older cat who means the world to me, so I understand how important it is to find someone who is patient, attentive, and genuinely caring. Since I work from home, your cat will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I also make it a priority to send regular updates and photos because I know how reassuring they are. Whenever I've left my own cat in someone else's care, those updates meant everything to me, and I want you to have that same peace of mind while you're away. I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m around throughout the day for feedings, playtime, litter box care, and companionship, and I can adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs. I live in a clean, calm condo and prioritize safety at all times. I keep doors and windows secure, maintain a pet-friendly environment, and closely follow each pet’s routine and instructions.
“Abigail took great care of my cat. I am new to the area and when called for an unexpected work trip, I turned to Rover. I reached out to Abigail and Abigal and received a response within 30 minutes she was available and assisted with setting up the meet/greet. My cat was a stray and is very timid, Abilgail took such great care not to traumatize her and was even able to get close enough to capture a photo. The fact that my cat didn't run is a great compliment to Abigail's patience and caring. I highly recommend this team if you are in the Fort. Lauderdale area, they will be my first go to for the next trip.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Catherine! She was reliable, accommodating, and kept me posted with great communication throughout. She took excellent care of our cats, especially making sure our kitty who needs special medication was well looked after. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets. Highly recommend!”

“Genesis was so great! She was very detailed and sent a lot of pictures. She kept us updated. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone in need.”

About: As a college student taking online classes, I’m home most of the day, which means frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship for your dog. I grew up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience, including regularly caring for a family friend’s dog and dog sitting for a previous client where I managed their dog’s full daily routine. I know how much trust it takes to hand over the care of your pet, and I take that seriously. Dogs in my care have access to a fenced backyard and daily walks around my neighborhood. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. Pets are supervised closely and kept off furniture. Because I am a college student taking online classes, I have a flexible schedule which allows me to spend plenty of time taking care of pets throughout the day. I am home mostly and can provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding and companionship. I provide a safe and loving environment for all pets in my care. Dogs are taken regularly on walks around my neighborhood and have access to a fenced backyard for bathroom breaks and outdoor activities. I follow each pets normal routine as closely as possible including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions from owners. I am very hands on when it comes to supervision, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while away from home.
“Amazing service! I have a wild puppy who weighs 60 pounds and a nervous 5 year old dog who doesn’t like new people but Marilys has done an amazing job with both and knows how to care for them. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a drop in visit/dog walker/pet sitter!”
“Kelly accepted another short notice request, then extended it a day after my work schedule changed last minute. She is a natural with the dogs, and I was able to focus on my job while out of town knowing the pups were well attended to.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Plantation. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
