“On an emergency last minute notice Delaney came in and helped me and my family out with our pitbull , she took care of so much and went above and beyond to make sure we were up to date letting us know if any issues occurred any questions . She was super informative and very very professional. Couldn’t thank her enough for the peace of mind my wife and I had during our vacation to know we had someone to rely on when family and friends couldn’t absolutely wonderful .”
“Marianne was amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. She is very caring and attentive, we felt we could count on her and that our cat was in great hands. I will book her again next time we are away from home. Thank you so much for the great service! :)”

“Catherine was genuinely the best. She did everything that was requested and was happy to do it too. Very easy to communicate with, really sweet and considerate of my cat’s needs. I could not recommend her more and will definitely reach out to her again if my pets ever need another sitter. You can’t go wrong with her!!”

“Wow! Best Rover ever. Was wonderful checking in on our cat Zoey. Very communicative and sent great updates with videos and photos. We would definitely use Chantil again to take care of Zoey.”
“This was our first week with Jodi, and it was great! Jodi is very caring, and won my Drogo over right away. She’s always on time and quick to respond to any message; I know my Drogo is in good hands when she cares for him. Highly recommended.”
“I am so grateful for Andrea! She has been a complete angel for me while caring for my cat, in what turned out to be her final months of life :( My fur baby was dealing with kidney disease and got very sick in the last few months. I had to be away for work and the holiday and Andrea was there to love her and take care of her. She followed all the instructions for my cat (medications/feedings) and kept my home super clean. She even came on Thanksgiving day, twice. Andrea goes above and beyond and is a true animal lover. She is extremely compassionate and cares about the human just as much as she cares about the pet! Sadly, I had to send my kitty to heaven shortly after her sitting and Andrea was literally with me every step of the way. She walked me through every detail of my cat’s behavior and patterns when she was with her. I was totally informed, to the minute, even after the booking was over. She remained in contact with me and was still willing to help and stay in touch. She even recommended me her vet- who gave me a straight answer about her condition instead of the vets prior, who had just been running us through every single test & hefty bills with literally no answers, while my baby just got more sick by the day. I highly recommend Andrea to take care of your pets and your home. She is a Godsend! 🙏🏻❤️”

“Jazmin was fantastic…reliable, professional and communicative. Most importantly my pets loved her and were well taken care of. She is great at her job and I highly recommend her.”

“Genesis was so great! She was very detailed and sent a lot of pictures. She kept us updated. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone in need.”

About: I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like my own. I have experience giving cats and dogs medication, and I’m patient with pets who need extra time to feel comfortable. I also enjoy running with active dogs and always make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for before I leave. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I’m available Monday through Saturday for drop-in visits, walks, runs, or simply spending time with your pet and making sure they’re cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m very attentive to both their needs and their environment. I always try to put myself in their shoes and think about what might make them feel comfortable, anxious, happy, or simply more at ease while their person is away. I respect each pet’s routine, personality, and boundaries rather than expecting them to immediately adjust to me. Their safety and comfort are always my priority, and before leaving, I make sure they have everything they need and are settled comfortably in their space.
About: I have been taking care of animals for 10+ years this doesn't just include my own, I have experience working in many different shelters allowing me the opportunity to handle many different animals and learn basic training techniques. I currently work a flexible on call jon which allows me plenty of time to take care of animals, i am also always off on the weekends allowing me to take care of animals anytime on the weekends. I ensure that all of the pets I care for and even the ones I have at home are on the best diets along with getting plenty of exercise.
“Alexandrea and our cat Bruce made friends on the first visit. Alexandrea also stayed for a good 30 minutes (Check-In) and made sure Bruce was fat and happy and also played with him while we were gone. Past experiences is was in and out in 15 minutes it seemed from others. I will be looking for Alexandrea on our next trip for sure!”

“Gheraldine did a good job with my cat. Feeding daily - changing the water, cleaning the litter box and giving my cat affection. She communicated if she would be late or early. I do recommend her.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, especially senior pups who need extra patience, gentleness, and love. Growing up, I had two senior dogs, a 17 year old Poodle and a 15 year old Shih Tzu, so I’m very familiar with caring for older dogs, understanding their routines, and recognizing when they need a little extra support or comfort. I currently have a one-year-old Shih Tzu who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, so I’m experienced with both young, energetic dogs and calmer, older companions. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full-time but only three days a week, which gives me great flexibility for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your dog’s specific routine, whether that means quiet walks, playtime, medication schedules, or just extra cuddles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby 💕 I work three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets while you’re busy or away. My home is calm and pet-friendly, and my dog Momo provides gentle companionship for dogs who enjoy being around other pets and friendly playtime together.
“Tarah was great. Very good communication. She did everything. She said she was going to do…..kept her schedule. I had not a care in the world. It was a pleasure. I would definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve been a pet owner for most of my life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m a true animal lover, and I especially have a soft spot for cats! I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to help them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, as well as cats, through both professional pet care and private pet-sitting. Over the years, I’ve built lasting relationships with many families who trusted me to care for their pets whenever they traveled. My services include feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, enrichment, administering basic care, lots of love and attention, and keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. If requested, I’m also happy to help with light home care, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, and tidying up before you return. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to provide dependable, compassionate care so both you and your furry family members feel comfortable and confident while you’re apart. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Please contact me for more details! I work full-time as a therapist and am also a mom to an 8 month old, but I have a flexible schedule and am able to make pet care work with proper planning. I am available for visits before and after my work hours, as well as on certain weekdays and weekends depending on the week. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to maintain a reliable routine and communicate clearly about availability. I’m happy to coordinate ahead of time to make sure your pet’s needs are fully covered and that they receive consistent, attentive care while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, routine, and respect for your space. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure your pet feels as comfortable and secure as possible while you’re away. I aim to keep their normal routine consistent, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. I am mindful of keeping doors secured, following safety instructions carefully, and ensuring pets are always supervised during visits. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is always to create a safe, low stress experience for both pets and their owners.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life. Ever since I was young I’ve had dogs in my home. As I got older I started to care for my friends and families pets when they went out of town. They would rely on me to walk, feed and bathe them. I love it, it’s a passion of mine. Currently I'm a full time student taking online classes so my schedule is a bit flexible. I’m happy to try to work with you the best I can in any situation! In my home I create a safe and loving environment. In my clients home I would provide the same love and care as well as respect their space and follow any guidelines provided. I tailor my care based on the service offered, ensuring a personalized and attentive experience for every pet under my watch.

Stephanie was kind, caring, punctual and super attentive to my 2 kittens. We hired her services for 8 1 hour drop-in visits. Sent updates every single time w photos! Grabbed mail for us everyday. She discovered a pool leak and quickly stopped it with some over the phone guidance, thankfully. We were so relieved. She is highly recommended -hope you get a chance to hire this loving human for your fur babies. 5 stars plus plus plus! Thank you Stephanie!

Chantil did a wonderful job caring for my cat while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and made me feel comfortable knowing my cat was in good hands. Mafalda with great with my 2 kitties! She kept me updated with video's and photos which help to feel at ease knowing they are getting fed and some snuggles. On the last day she even swept up the area around my liter box which was really nice to come home to:). Thank you Mafalda! Will book again:)
Lauren took wonderful care of our three cats while we were out of town for a long weekend. She came by beforehand to meet us and the kitties and learn their routine. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
