About: I’ve had pets of my own for more than 10 years and have also spent time fostering both dogs and cats, including animals with special needs. That experience has taught me that every pet needs something a little different, whether that means extra patience, a specific routine, a slower introduction, or just plenty of attention and reassurance. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with everything from newborn kittens to extra-large dogs, and I’m very comfortable around big breeds since we have large dogs of our own at home. Fostering has also given me experience working with animals who may be nervous, shy, adjusting to a new environment, or in need of a little extra care. I’m patient and attentive, and I always try to meet animals where they are rather than expecting them to immediately warm up to me. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, cautious and reserved, or convinced they should be the center of attention at all times, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend walks, drop-ins, and varying times throughout the day, including early mornings, late evenings, and everything in between. I know pet routines don’t always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule, so I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. Whether you need regular care, occasional help, or a little extra flexibility, I’ll do my best to make scheduling easy and reliable. Safety, trust, and communication are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, house rules, and any special instructions you provide. I also know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I make a point to keep owners in the loop. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and little check-ins so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. In your home, I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses, and I always respect both your space and your pet’s boundaries. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate right away if I notice something. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable while you’re apart.

About: I am an optometry student at NSU. I am away from home so having a pet to walk and be around will help with being away from home. I have a family dog I had to leave at home :(( In high school I would walk dogs after school and in college I would dog and cat sit all the time. I am not scared of big or little dogs. My sister had a cat growing up so I also love cats. I go to school from 8a-5p Monday through Friday. So I can be with pets before 8a and after 5p. But I am free all weekend! I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, providing fresh water, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after them, and giving them plenty of attention and playtime. I also make sure they get appropriate exercise and that their environment stays clean and secure. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own and keep the owner updated on how their pet is doing.

About: I've taken care of family pets for as long as i can remember, mostly dogs but im sure i can take care of cats aswell. I am currently unemployed so ill have plenty of time on my hands to be home with all pets. I have siblings so ill also have multiple hands to help aswell. I have a fenced yard and 1 small pug and 1 baby pitbull that are both very friendly. They both get along with other animals that i have brought around them.

About: I believe that my experience comes from caring for my own and family pets over many years. I’ve had multiple pets at once and have cared for them through different stages of life, from a special needs puppy to my now partly blind Corgi who requires frequent eye drops and extra attention, to a senior cat who needed diapers, mobility support, and extra support at his 25 years old! I also have a large Siberian Husky who is known for being an escape artist, so I understand the importance of keeping energetic dogs safe and secure. I’m comfortable with special needs, medications, and senior care. In a client’s home, I keep their routine consistent while making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable, as well as the client themselves!

This was the longest amount of time I have left my kitties and was nervous, but Johanna relieved all my anxiety. One of my cats can be a bit grumpy when I’m gone and Johanna did amazing at respecting his space. She was able to take care of him as well as give him pets when needed. She also did great at playing with my other cat and I got lots of action shots. She’s a true cat whisperer!”
