“Catherine was genuinely the best. She did everything that was requested and was happy to do it too. Very easy to communicate with, really sweet and considerate of my cat’s needs. I could not recommend her more and will definitely reach out to her again if my pets ever need another sitter. You can’t go wrong with her!!”

“Jennifer was one of the best cat sitter we've ever booked on the app. She was wonderful and took care of our 3 high maintenance kitties so well. Already going to reach back out for future bookings and would recommend to any pet owners on Rover. Thank you so much Jennifer!”

“Abigail took great care of my cat. I am new to the area and when called for an unexpected work trip, I turned to Rover. I reached out to Abigail and Abigal and received a response within 30 minutes she was available and assisted with setting up the meet/greet. My cat was a stray and is very timid, Abilgail took such great care not to traumatize her and was even able to get close enough to capture a photo. The fact that my cat didn't run is a great compliment to Abigail's patience and caring. I highly recommend this team if you are in the Fort. Lauderdale area, they will be my first go to for the next trip.”

“Kim is the BEST!!! She took care of our cat so well and sent photos/videos everyday! She let us know if there were any issues with our cat. Kim was very professional and prompt with responses. She gave our cat lots of treats and pets and was just overall wonderful! So thankful to have had her take care of our furbaby!”

“Chantil dropped in to see our cat, Vin, while we were gone. She was wonderful! She sent videos each day she visited. When we got home Vin was happy and spoiled :). Thanks!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Friends and family have come to me to help take care of their animals. I love all breeds and sizes! I am available every day to care for others pets! I can drop in and walk all sizes of dogs and am willing to move my schedule around to help out! I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs and have been around and taking care of animals for the majority of my life. I also have experience with cats, turtles, geckos, bearded dragons, and hamsters. My dog Max has some health issues so I’m experienced in administering medication.
“Kira is an amazing dog sitter! She’s communicative, punctual, and incredibly kind to our Koa. We trust her completely and always look forward to having her take care of our furry baby. Highly recommend!”

“Amber did an amazing job taking care of my cats! She was reliable, caring, and treated them like they were her own. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands while I was away. She kept me updated, made sure they were well cared for, and I came home to happy, relaxed cats. I highly recommend Amber to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Amber!”

About: I've been caring for animals informally for years. I had my own fur baby, Charlie, who was so much more than a pet—he was my best friend for 13 years. He taught me that when it comes to caring for animals, the most important qualities are patience, consistency, empathy, and understanding that no two pets are the same. Since Charlie's passing, I've loved helping friends and family care for their furry companions, whether dogs or cats. One of my favorite parts is getting to know each pet's unique personality and what makes them tick. Whether it's long walks, chasing toys, cuddles on the couch, or simply enjoying each other's company, I love meeting pets where they are and giving them the care and attention they need. Spending time with furry friends has truly become one of my favorite ways to spend the day. I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, keeping them active, entertained, and sticking to their routines. I also have experience giving oral medications when they can be hidden in food or treats. A little about me—I'm a licensed mental health counselor, so patience, compassion, and empathy come naturally to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else's care. I'll treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I gave my Charlie boy. Whether you're away on vacation or simply at work for the day, I'll make sure to keep you posted with plenty of pictures and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. My schedule varies from week to week, but I’m generally available Thursday through Saturday for walks and drop-in visits! I make sure to keep my Rover calendar up to date so you can easily see when I’m available. Since my days off are dedicated to pet care, I can often accommodate different times throughout the day. Whether your furry friend needs a morning walk, a potty break, some playtime, or just a little extra company while you’re away, I’d love to spend some time with them! At this time, I'm offering dog walks and drop-in visits in your home. While I'm not currently able to provide boarding, I'm more than happy to come to your pet's familiar environment, where they can feel safe, comfortable, and stick to their normal routine. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, playtime in the backyard, a potty break, fresh food and water, or simply a lil extra love and time hanging out while you're away, I'll make sure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I'll always leave things just as I found them.
“We are extremely happy and appreciate of Andrea’s attention to the care of our pups. We will definitely recommend her and will want her to take care of our pups again. Thank you so much !”

“Brenda was incredibly responsible and provided such attentive care that I felt completely at ease leaving my pet in her hands. She went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, showing a genuine love for animals that truly stands out.”

About: I am an optometry student at NSU. I am away from home so having a pet to walk and be around will help with being away from home. I have a family dog I had to leave at home :(( In high school I would walk dogs after school and in college I would dog and cat sit all the time. I am not scared of big or little dogs. My sister had a cat growing up so I also love cats. I go to school from 8a-5p Monday through Friday. So I can be with pets before 8a and after 5p. But I am free all weekend! I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, providing fresh water, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after them, and giving them plenty of attention and playtime. I also make sure they get appropriate exercise and that their environment stays clean and secure. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own and keep the owner updated on how their pet is doing.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, especially senior pups who need extra patience, gentleness, and love. Growing up, I had two senior dogs, a 17 year old Poodle and a 15 year old Shih Tzu, so I’m very familiar with caring for older dogs, understanding their routines, and recognizing when they need a little extra support or comfort. I currently have a one-year-old Shih Tzu who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, so I’m experienced with both young, energetic dogs and calmer, older companions. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full-time but only three days a week, which gives me great flexibility for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your dog’s specific routine, whether that means quiet walks, playtime, medication schedules, or just extra cuddles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby 💕 I work three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets while you’re busy or away. My home is calm and pet-friendly, and my dog Momo provides gentle companionship for dogs who enjoy being around other pets and friendly playtime together.
About: I’ve had pets of my own for more than 10 years and have also spent time fostering both dogs and cats, including animals with special needs. That experience has taught me that every pet needs something a little different, whether that means extra patience, a specific routine, a slower introduction, or just plenty of attention and reassurance. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with everything from newborn kittens to extra-large dogs, and I’m very comfortable around big breeds since we have large dogs of our own at home. Fostering has also given me experience working with animals who may be nervous, shy, adjusting to a new environment, or in need of a little extra care. I’m patient and attentive, and I always try to meet animals where they are rather than expecting them to immediately warm up to me. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, cautious and reserved, or convinced they should be the center of attention at all times, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend walks, drop-ins, and varying times throughout the day, including early mornings, late evenings, and everything in between. I know pet routines don’t always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule, so I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. Whether you need regular care, occasional help, or a little extra flexibility, I’ll do my best to make scheduling easy and reliable. Safety, trust, and communication are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, house rules, and any special instructions you provide. I also know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I make a point to keep owners in the loop. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and little check-ins so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. In your home, I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses, and I always respect both your space and your pet’s boundaries. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate right away if I notice something. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable while you’re apart.
About: I have been surrounded by pets my whole life. I grew up on a farm so I'm not a stranger to animals! Family and friends have trusted me taking care of their pets for years now. I have experience in boarding and longterm dog/catsits. I have fostered dogs and cats throughout my life and currently, I have two of my own furbabies. As a pet parent, I get the nerves and anxiety of leaving your babies at home. I will treat your beloved pets as my own during the time that I take care of them for. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention and care they need. I’m available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day and would also love to offer boarding. Having a furry companion around while I work would be a wonderful addition to my day, and I’d be happy to give them plenty of playtime, attention, and companionship throughout their stay. I have a safe and comfortable home where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. Since I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on pets throughout the day and give them plenty of attention and companionship. As long as they don’t accidentally an email, we should be all okay! I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m committed to following their care instructions and making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

Nathalya was wonderful! She was very thorough and took excellent care of my two cats. When I returned the house was clean and no "Hair balls" or other goodies found. Would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter as she is caring and efficient. Thank you and hope to use her again for other travel plans.

Omer & Diana did a fantastic job with caring for our big family of 5 cats and 1 dog 💕💕 It was a joy hearing from them and seeing photos of our babies. Our home was taken care of, litterboxes maintained well, and for sure our babies felt comfy! Thank you guys so much!
I hired Janelle to come by my house while on vacation to check on my 4 cats. She was so nice at the meet and greet and really paid attention to the needs of my kitties. She came to my house and played with them, fed them, cleaned their litter, and refilled their water. She was on time, and did a great job. This was on a holiday as well, so it is nice having someone who can work holidays. It’s so nice having someone who I can trust while I’m away, and I will be hiring her again!! I highly recommend. her.

Meagan provided wonderfully detailed daily reports and sent pictures of our beloved cats while we were away. I know that they were well cared for, that she engaged with them, and that she took an interest in their well being. I highly recommend Meagan as a responsible, kind, and efficient pet sitter.

Chantil did a wonderful job caring for my cat while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and made me feel comfortable knowing my cat was in good hands. I really appreciated the updates and attention she gave. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Francesca as a pet sitter for our 2 cats! They both needed special attention with medications and she was on top of it all. :) She kept in touch with pictures and messages everyday and went out of her way to clean up any messes the kitties made. We came home to 2 happy kitties!

Madison took great care of our cats when we went on a trip. She was on time for every feeding, took lots of pictures, and was communicative throughout her time checking in our cats! One of our cats gets a bit excited during feeding time and she handled it well. We will definitely book with her again

Lauren took wonderful care of our three cats while we were out of town for a long weekend. She came by beforehand to meet us and the kitties and learn their routine. Each day, she sent us updates and photos, made sure they had fresh food and water, and spent time playing and giving them plenty of love. We highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a caring and reliable cat sitter! 🐱😺😸

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
