About: I've been caring for animals informally for years. I had my own fur baby, Charlie, who was so much more than a pet—he was my best friend for 13 years. He taught me that when it comes to caring for animals, the most important qualities are patience, consistency, empathy, and understanding that no two pets are the same. Since Charlie's passing, I've loved helping friends and family care for their furry companions, whether dogs or cats. One of my favorite parts is getting to know each pet's unique personality and what makes them tick. Spending time with furry friends has truly become one of my favorite ways to spend the day. I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, keeping them active, entertained, and sticking to their routines. I also have experience giving oral medications when they can be hidden in food or treats. A little about me—I'm a licensed mental health counselor, so patience, compassion, and empathy come naturally to me. My schedule varies from week to week, but I’m generally available Thursday through Saturday for walks and drop-in visits! I make sure to keep my Rover calendar up to date so you can easily see when I’m available. Since my days off are dedicated to pet care, I can often accommodate different times throughout the day. Whether your furry friend needs a morning walk, a potty break, some playtime, or just a little extra company while you’re away, I’d love to spend some time with them! At this time, I'm offering dog walks and drop-in visits in your home. While I'm not currently able to provide boarding, I'm more than happy to come to your pet's familiar environment, where they can feel safe, comfortable, and stick to their normal routine. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, playtime in the backyard, a potty break, fresh food and water, or simply a lil extra love and time hanging out while you're away, I'll make sure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve. About: I am an optometry student at NSU. I am away from home so having a pet to walk and be around will help with being away from home. I have a family dog I had to leave at home :(( In high school I would walk dogs after school and in college I would dog and cat sit all the time. I am not scared of big or little dogs. My sister had a cat growing up so I also love cats. I go to school from 8a-5p Monday through Friday. So I can be with pets before 8a and after 5p. But I am free all weekend! I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, providing fresh water, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after them, and giving them plenty of attention and playtime. I also make sure they get appropriate exercise and that their environment stays clean and secure. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own and keep the owner updated on how their pet is doing.

In your home, I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses, and I always respect both your space and your pet’s boundaries. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate right away if I notice something.
