“Brenda is very reliable and responsible person. She was amazing with our two older dogs. We went on vacation for 11 days to other country and thanks to her we were able to enjoy it fully and not worry too much. She was great in communicating with us all the time and sending pictures. We will definitely reach out to her next time we need to take care of our babies.”

“From the start Andrea was excellent in her communication. She was quickly responsive and gave updates on my two cats throughout the stay. She even made a second trip back to my home to make sure my boys were ok because of an error I made - I really appreciate that! I would hire her again.”

“Abigail took great care of my cat. I am new to the area and when called for an unexpected work trip, I turned to Rover. I reached out to Abigail and Abigal and received a response within 30 minutes she was available and assisted with setting up the meet/greet. My cat was a stray and is very timid, Abilgail took such great care not to traumatize her and was even able to get close enough to capture a photo. The fact that my cat didn't run is a great compliment to Abigail's patience and caring. I highly recommend this team if you are in the Fort. Lauderdale area, they will be my first go to for the next trip.”

“Nicole was wonderful with my brand new kitten Ash! Super responsive and kept me updated with lots of videos and photos! I will definitely rely on her again and would highly recommend. Very professional and Ash seemed to love her!”

“Extremely professional and caring. My cats have been taken care for my past two trips. Janice was always in communication with me and I felt assured they were in good hands.”

“Mara was absolutely awesome! Very communicative and friendly! My dog is shy & she was comfortable with her. I’ll definitely be booking with Mara again!”

“I was so nervous about using Rover for the first time but Deborah was so nice and understanding. She sent me the cutest pictures and videos of my baby to let me know exactly what was going on everyday. She also went above and beyond and got my mail for me, took beretta for walks, and even cleaned the living room for me to return home. I could not recommend her more to anyone else!!”

“This is my second time booking Caitlin. She accommodated a very last minute booking. I’m told the house was left very clean and our dog is as happy as ever! She takes the job seriously and has great communication skills. I am so grateful I found Caitlin. She is such a gem. Appreciate her dedication and all the love she gives our doggo! I truly do think she has a positive impact on my shelter dog’s progress and development, which is priceless. Thank you Caitlin.”

“Danielle is truly an Angel on earth. My fur babies are both 1 years old and this was the first time I was leaving them for more than 2 days. She sent me ample pictures every visit, FaceTimed me, and overall just went above and beyond. She truly cares, understand animals and loves my fur babies as much as I do. I never thought I would meet such an amazing sitter like her and I will definitely be booking with her again ❤️ don’t think twice about booking her!!”

“Shaza did an excellent job taking care of Milo. She gave him lots of rubs and attention. She also kept me posted on his welfare with each visit. Shaza is honest, conscientious, and prompt. I hope she available for us in the future!”

About: Hey! My name is Tanaysia , and I grew up in an animal loving house. My mom is an animal lover, and naturally so am I. I love all types of animals... small rodents, dogs, cats, birds. I love them all. I have been gentle, caring, and loving with animals from a young age. My first ever pet was a guinea pig, I had two of them. From ages 8-12, and took care of them myself. I would change their litter, feed them play with them, and of course make sure they were healthy and happy. I've had two fishes, and a bunny, as well as taken care of family members dogs and cats for periods of times while they were out of town I currently have a bichion poodle. Who I adore. And a frenchie I love animals so much, and I am grateful to be able to spread my love for animals by taking the time to care for other fur babies! Feel free to reach out anytime! :) This is my full time job, so I have lots of time to spend with your fur babies! I am available anytime to walk your dogs, check up on your fur babies and even watch them overnight while your away! I also am offering in home overnight pet sitting that would take place at the clients home. I pride myself on providing quality service that meets your specific needs and make sure to love your little one I’m currently in school online so I’m able to care and watch your little one 24/7. My availability is open and I’m available anytime and any day I care by being patient and calm with them. Giving them reassurance that they are safe and loved. I will also send pictures letting the client know that they are doing great
“Omer was awesome both at taking care of my cats and sending updates, pics, videos, etc; on how they were doing! Both cats seemed to warm right up to him and got lots of attention, play time, and genuine care. Highly reccomend, 2 paws up! ?”

About: I currently work at an animal shelter. For my first year, I walked dogs, cleaned the kennels/catteries, as well as fed them, and more. I am now a vet assistant of 1 year+ , where I help restrain animals for the doctor, and a few more things. With this experience I have learned animal behavior/body language. I often pay attention to detail and notice things others may not. I also have many fur babies at home that I love and take care of! I currently work full-time with 3 days off. I can pet sit, visit, walk, etc. during those days. I get off at work around 6:30 and I am fine with night visits after work. I have a decently sized neighborhood to walk dogs, but I am unable to pet sit in my own home as of now. I feed, walk, play with, and take care of my own animals at home and love the opportunity to help with others. I’m typically the only one to notice details and when things are off with my fur babies, so yours will be in good hands!
“Nicole is just awesome. She is so easy to work with and flexible. I booked Nicole services to look after my cats as I was going on a trip. She did such a wonderful job of looking after them and keeping me informed every visit. Highly recommend her.”

About: I absolutely LOVE animals! I’ve been pet sitting for years and had 2 dogs of my own for over 15 years. I love my fur babies and I’ll make sure to love yours as if they were my own! I adore EVERY type of animal big or small and will provide the utmost care for them per your instructions! I can care for your pet in your home for drop ins and walks, or board in mine! Whichever you prefer I promise your baby will be taken well care of! I am located in East Hollywood and can travel throughout the area. I can help with cats, dogs and certain exotic animals! If you prefer boarding, please be advised that I have a cat, that is trained and gets along well with dogs but not other cats. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider me for your baby, I look forward to meeting you! I have a moderate schedule, but work only 5 miles from home and am available to leave tor potty breaks during the week. I’m usually free all day on my days off so my schedule is pretty flexible! There is also my work from home boyfriend in the home, who is home all day to allow for potty breaks, feeding and company when boarding. I have a big back yard that’s fenced in, so your baby can play safely. I also have a medium sized cat that really just keeps to herself. Pets are let out periodically through the day, and water bowls are always full. We allow pets on the furniture and cuddles at night, though I can crate your pet if needed

I hired Janelle to come by my house while on vacation to check on my 4 cats. She was so nice at the meet and greet and really paid attention to the needs of my kitties. She came to my house and played with them, fed them, cleaned their litter, and refilled their water. She was on time, and did a great job. This was on a holiday as well, so it is nice having someone who can work holidays. It’s so nice having someone who I can trust while I’m away, and I will be hiring her again!! I highly recommend. her.

Andrea was wonderful with my cat, Loki! He’s a very shy and scared boy but she was patient, reliable, and very responsive. She always arrived on time, made sure he was fed, and sent pictures, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I will definitely book with her again!

Mafalda with great with my 2 kitties! She kept me updated with video's and photos which help to feel at ease knowing they are getting fed and some snuggles. On the last day she even swept up the area around my liter box which was really nice to come home to:). Thank you Mafalda! Will book again:)

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hacienda Village. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
