I am a college student working toward becoming a veterinarian, so I do attend classes, but I plan my schedule in a way that still allows me to be highly available and reliable for pet care. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as extended care depending on your pet’s needs. I am committed to providing consistent, attentive care and making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a comfortable environment. I understand that allowing someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big responsibility, and I take that very seriously. I always aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress and help them feel secure in their familiar space. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and household rules. I also make sure doors, gates, and any potential hazards are properly managed to keep your pet safe at all times. Respecting your home is just as important to me as caring for your pet. I keep your space clean, organized, and exactly how you left it. I am mindful of security, ensuring your home is locked and protected during and after each visit. Building trust is very important to me, so I stay attentive, patient, and communicative. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, or check-ins so you feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet feels comfortable and you feel completely reassured.

Information Yasmine J. would like to know about your pet

To provide the best possible care, I kindly ask pet owners to share a few important details about their fur babies ahead of time: • Daily Routine: Feeding times, portion sizes, walk schedules, and sleep habits • Temperament & Behavior: How your pet acts around new people, other animals, or in different environments • Medical Needs: Any medications, allergies, past injuries, or health concerns I should be aware of • Emergency Contacts: Your vet’s information and a backup contact in case of emergency • Triggers or Fears: Loud noises, separation anxiety, aggression, or anything that may cause stress • Training & Commands: Commands your pet knows, house rules, or ongoing training routines • Favorite Activities: Toys, games, or things your pet enjoys (or dislikes) • Special Instructions: Anything unique that helps your pet feel more comfortable and safe

A typical day

My day is very calm, structured, and centered around caring for animals. I usually start with a 2–3 hour walk, which reflects my active lifestyle and my ability to keep up with dogs that need longer walks, exercise, and outdoor time. I also spend a lot of time at home caring for my bearded dragon, which has taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of maintaining a proper routine when it comes to feeding, environment, and overall care. Being responsible for a reptile has strengthened my attention to detail and my understanding of different types of animal needs.

Pet care experience

As much of dog person I am, i also genuinely love cats. I have a few cats myself I know how cats tend to be and I know I how they get, but I know to give them space it took me some time but they are very respectful and boundaries animals as long as you respect them they will respect you and that took me a couple of years to really understand but now I finally get the memo for how they are.

Yasmine communicated well throughout the stay and contacted me quickly anytime something came up, including when one of my dogs had diarrhea. She would even sit with my dog to make sure she ate and to ensure everything was okay. My dogs were happy and comfortable with her, and the house was left in great condition. She truly went above and beyond, which I really appreciated.
