About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, especially senior pups who need extra patience, gentleness, and love. Growing up, I had two senior dogs, a 17 year old Poodle and a 15 year old Shih Tzu, so I’m very familiar with caring for older dogs, understanding their routines, and recognizing when they need a little extra support or comfort. I currently have a one-year-old Shih Tzu who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, so I’m experienced with both young, energetic dogs and calmer, older companions. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full-time but only three days a week, which gives me great flexibility for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your dog’s specific routine, whether that means quiet walks, playtime, medication schedules, or just extra cuddles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby 💕 I work three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets while you’re busy or away. About: Small dogs are my specialty! Neighbors, friends, colleagues and family turn to me without hesitation for consistent, safe, reliable pet care while they are away or in last minute emergency situations . I have experience with senior pets, pets that are in need of medication, pets that have CHF, pets with skin, problems/ issues, or allergies, and vestibular disease. I work a full-time job with a one hour lunch period (to attend to your pets needs midday) Well behaved pets (with the owners approval or owners request) can be brought with me to work in a very small 3 person quiet office setting. Monday-Friday and I am available all weekend. I have experience with crate trained, free roaming, in-home hospice situations with multiple (and sometimes time sensitive medications) , CHF(congestive heart failure) and special feeding instructions. I am also able to take your pet on long walks beyond the yard and even for a few mile run/jog (for dogs whose owners request this service, usually my larger breed pet owners or working dog pet owners).

Before meeting with Heather, I had never meet anyone so enthusiastic to care for Cats. She truly loves what she does and it’s not a job for her, She loves and cares for them. She not only feeds them and gives them meds but she play with them , pays attention to them and brings them toys. We are grateful for Heather’s thoughtfulness and dedication.
This was my first time with a cat sitter and Gary put me at so much ease. I trusted his judgement, but he checked in when he had direct questions about something I might have forgotten. I didnt understand the Rover check in messages at first but came to really look forward to pics and updates about my girls. He was also soooooo good with my girls. I have two cats. One is usually a little shy at first and takes time to approach people. But she was very comfortable rolling over and slow blinking for gary within 10 minutes of him stepping into my apartment. It was comforting knowing my girls were enjoying some parts of my time away with Gary there to provide them some comfort and company.
Karen always goes above and beyond! Our sweet girl is disabled (Manx syndrome) and has very unique care needs, and we always feel completely comfortable leaving Tilly in Karen’s care. We can’t recommend her enough. It’s very evident through the care she provides and the work she does just how much she loves animals 🐈⬛🐈
Taylor did an amazing job taking care of my 2 kittens. This was my first time using Rover so I did not know what to expect. However, Taylor communicated very efficiently the entire time and sent great photos to reassure me the babies were ok. The house looked the same way as I left it which means the little were also behaving thanks to Taylor’s visits. Would definitely rebook for another trip!
