About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

About: Animals are my favorite thing in the world! Growing up we always had pets and I currently have 5 of my own. Professionally I have worked with a range of breeds from Rottweilers to chihuahuas. I understand the worries of most pet parents when choosing a sitter or walker. Safety and comfort are my top priority and I promise to take care of your pups as if they're my own. Look forward to meeting your pet soon! I currently work a job with flexible hours and am often left with free time. The only set schedule I have is for my online classes at Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 12 pm. But I can attend from anywhere as long as I have WiFi. I’ll keep your pup company in your home and provide play and potty breaks regularly. If you have a preference for anything just let me know and I’ll follow your instructions to make it as comfortable for you and your pet. I also promise to update you regularly with pictures and videos if you’d like! For boarding I have a fenced in yard and backyard cameras so I’m always able to monitor your fur baby. But I promise never to leave your pup unattended as they do their business. I also have 2 fur babies of my own so they’ll never be lonely. My pup Maisie just turned a year old and loves having furry friends to play with! While my Tilly is older and tends to keep to herself to snooze all day.

About: I grew up on a farm and have a lifetime of experience caring for animals of all kinds. Cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens, pigs, you name it! I like taking a long walk in the morning, followed by playtime and sometimes a run or visit to the lake in the afternoon. I don't mind getting dirty with the dogs, and will play in the rain! A walk after dinner is also part of the typical routine. In North Fort Lauderdale, we have an open, airy, loft style townhouse. The backyard is fenced in, and we are only a short walk away from the dog park. Our neighborhood has several shaded, tree lined streets, and is a nice, quiet, safe place to take a walk. I have a plethora of patience as well as experience with puppies, seniors, and special needs pets. I also am available to care for your pets in your own home. My husband and I spend the summer in Saratoga Springs, NY, and the winter in sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL. The schedule created through Rover opportunities will be my primary work committment. My schedule is flexible so I am able to meet your pets needs and fit into your routine. I prefer to book one client at a time in order to give your pets the care and attention they deserve while you are away. I have had many animals my entire life, so I know how important it is to stay aware of your surroundings at all times. When walking your dog, they will always be on leash and securely held. I love taking photos, and will provide several from our time together, but I do not use my phone for fun when with your pet. Please be patient if awaiting a response, as I focus 100% on the pet I am currently with, and do not have my phone glued to my hand all day. Animals are aware when you're not paying attention and they will take advantage of you! I pride myself on providing the level of care and attention I expect when leaving my own animals in someone else's care. Attention to detail and listening to what the animal is telling you is key to keeping everyone safe and happy.

About: I am a passionate dog lover, with more than 6 years of dog sitting experience and 5 years of experience volunteering for a local no-kill animal rescue. I am also an owner of two rescue dogs, ages 8 and 2. Home is a chill, well-behaved “pack environment,” with a fenced-in backyard for safety. My dog Charlie is very playful and welcomes all new dogs with such happiness, it’s infectious. Come book a stay with us! I am a full-time pet sitter with daily availability, along with weekends. I offer day care, dog park trips, overnights and stops to the home for visits and walking. And since I do this full-time, I can pay special attention to individual pet needs- to diet specifications, animal needs and owner requests. I have a fenced-in backyard, which is very shady, with a tall wooden fence and a separate Astroturf area for the dogs. I also have two very friendly dogs who play well with other pups. I can also easily crate your dog if needed. I have a separate bedroom with a large crate, available as needed. All dogs are fed in separate areas.
