“Elizabeth was great while taking care of my cat. She took the time to make sure he was comfortable and kept me informed at all times! Will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and patience I bring to every pet I look after. Since I’ve always had pets growing up. I’m very comfortable reading animal behavior and making sure they feel safe and relaxed. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and needs, whether that means giving extra playtime, being gentle with shy pets, or providing calm care for older animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and an stress-free environment while their owners are away. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’ve always had pets of my own. I’m used to planning my day around feeding times, cleaning up, walks, and making time for play and attention. I make sure pets stay on a consistent schedule so they feel comfortable and cared for, and I’m able to give them the time, patience, and supervision they need throughout the day. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it’s easy for me to make it a regular part of my weekly routine. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they’re in my home or their own. I follow the pet owner’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I provide plenty of attention, patience, and affection so pets feel relaxed while their owners are away. I also keep the environment clean and safe, and I’m always attentive to a pet’s behavior to make sure they’re happy and well taken care of.
“Brenda was incredibly responsible and provided such attentive care that I felt completely at ease leaving my pet in her hands. She went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, showing a genuine love for animals that truly stands out.”

“Marianne was a dream pet sitter for our three outdoor cats. She is communicative, helpful and caring. We highly recommend and will definitely think of Marianne for future pet sitting needs.”

“Reebah took wonderful care of my cat, Garfield. She followed all of my instructions carefully, including giving his medications and his food, and she provided timely updates throughout her visits. I felt completely at ease knowing Garfield was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend Reebah to anyone looking for someone caring, responsible, and trustworthy to look after their pets!”

“Kira is an amazing dog sitter! She’s communicative, punctual, and incredibly kind to our Koa. We trust her completely and always look forward to having her take care of our furry baby. Highly recommend!”

“Such a reliable sitter with a gift for animals. Andrea has gotten the trust of even my senior dog who is not trusting with many people. She is calm and responsible and I highly recommend her.”
“Genesis was so great! She was very detailed and sent a lot of pictures. She kept us updated. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone in need.”

“Abigail is always so communicative when it comes to watching our babies! This was our second time having her come pet sit, and the cats get more and more comfortable each time. We will definitely recommend her to anybody, and will have her come watch our kitties anytime!”

“I was so nervous about using Rover for the first time but Deborah was so nice and understanding. She sent me the cutest pictures and videos of my baby to let me know exactly what was going on everyday. She also went above and beyond and got my mail for me, took beretta for walks, and even cleaned the living room for me to return home. I could not recommend her more to anyone else!!”

About: I’m great with dogs! I’ve trained many dogs before and also volunteered at Big Dog Ranch Rescue. I’ll provide great care to your furry friend! I currently work full-time from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm. Any time after that is fine, and I’m free on weekends. I can provide care in the mornings and evenings on weekends, and only at night during the week. I have a dog and cat of my own and they get along really well. Whether in your home or mine, I keep your pet safe, happy, and on their regular routine. I strictly follow your feeding, medication, and walking schedules while keeping your environment secure and clean. You will receive regular photo updates, giving you peace of mind knowing your pet is in gentle, prepared hands.
“Mara was absolutely awesome! Very communicative and friendly! My dog is shy & she was comfortable with her. I’ll definitely be booking with Mara again!”

“Caitlin is a dependable and trustworthy sitter. I kinda plan my vacations when she can watch my pup😂 I come back from trips and my dog always is happy, like she enjoyed hanging out with her new friend (maybe she needs the occasional break from me LOL). Caitlin has watched my dog a few times over the last year and around when I first got her. My dog has improved a lot but definitely requires a sitter who is understanding and kind like Caitlin. Before Caitlin I had sitters turn me down because they discriminated against her breed, not even giving her a chance. I really appreciate Caitlin treating her like her own dog and being so loving towards her. I can definitely tell Caitlin is playing with her as I asked because Tooty has expected play time right around the time Caitlin was here LOL. Thanks Caitlin!”

About: I believe that my experience comes from caring for my own and family pets over many years. I’ve had multiple pets at once and have cared for them through different stages of life, from a special needs puppy to my now partly blind Corgi who requires frequent eye drops and extra attention, to a senior cat who needed diapers, mobility support, and extra support at his 25 years old! I also have a large Siberian Husky who is known for being an escape artist, so I understand the importance of keeping energetic dogs safe and secure. These experiences have shown me patience, responsibility, attention to detail, and how to recognize and adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I’m comfortable caring for pets of different sizes, personalities, and needs, and I’m happy to give them the same love and attention I’d give my own :) I’m currently studying so I have lots of free time to swing by and help out where I’m needed! Aside from Tuesday & Saturday nights, I have a relatively flexible schedule I will follow each pet’s routine and give them plenty of love, attention, playtime, and care. I’m comfortable with special needs, medications, and senior care. In a client’s home, I keep their routine consistent while making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable, as well as the client themselves!
About: I spent most of my time with birds when I was a child. As I grew older and finally started college I adopted two cats of my own. Learned everything I could before I made the decision to adopt. My friend also adopted a rabbit. She would often ask me to care for it while she was away. Letting me know special diet, play time and caring instructions. I followed all of it and that bunny was making binkies all over the place. Sometimes I brought my cats over and the bunny would make friends. Not too long after that I had taken in a cat for a friend of a friend who was going to live in a dorm. Her name was Cali and she was a fat kitty. My Dante became good friends with her. I started giving her a diet and exercise and 3 months after being with me she was happy to jump, play and frolic like she never had before. The owner was so thankful and i let her know some facts to keep her cat healthy. I hate seeing an animal so overweight they can't do anything but sit. Right now I'm freelancing part time in art. Which gives me time to take care of my animals as I need to. Also taking classes to develop my skills even further. I keep my animals safe as I don't let them out. My cats are mostly indoor. I am very vigilante and would protect any animal as if they were my own pet. I've also treated obese animals by giving them plenty of good nutritious food and play time to exercise.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, especially senior pups who need extra patience, gentleness, and love. Growing up, I had two senior dogs, a 17 year old Poodle and a 15 year old Shih Tzu, so I’m very familiar with caring for older dogs, understanding their routines, and recognizing when they need a little extra support or comfort. I currently have a one-year-old Shih Tzu who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, so I’m experienced with both young, energetic dogs and calmer, older companions. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full-time but only three days a week, which gives me great flexibility for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow your dog’s specific routine, whether that means quiet walks, playtime, medication schedules, or just extra cuddles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby 💕 I work three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets while you’re busy or away. My home is calm and pet-friendly, and my dog Momo provides gentle companionship for dogs who enjoy being around other pets and friendly playtime together.
“Gabi was really easy to work with and helped me navigate the app so I could get assistance I was looking for. She played with my dog and took him out to use the restroom and sent me photos. I was happy seeing Milo in the pictures.”

“Danielle is truly an Angel on earth. My fur babies are both 1 years old and this was the first time I was leaving them for more than 2 days. She sent me ample pictures every visit, FaceTimed me, and overall just went above and beyond. She truly cares, understand animals and loves my fur babies as much as I do. Brenda was so gentle and kind to my senior cat Gracie. She arrived for the pet visits at the agreed time and sent lots of pictures of of Gracie engaging with her. Gracie is usually quite shy, but she she was very social with Brenda. It was a comfort to have Brenda available for drop in visits.

Stephanie was kind, caring, punctual and super attentive to my 2 kittens. We hired her services for 8 1 hour drop-in visits. Sent updates every single time w photos! Grabbed mail for us everyday. She discovered a pool leak and quickly stopped it with some over the phone guidance, thankfully. We were so relieved. She is highly recommended -hope you get a chance to hire this loving human for your fur babies. 5 stars plus plus plus! Thank you Stephanie!

I hired Janelle to come by my house while on vacation to check on my 4 cats. She was so nice at the meet and greet and really paid attention to the needs of my kitties. She came to my house and played with them, fed them, cleaned their litter, and refilled their water. She was on time, and did a great job. This was on a holiday as well, so it is nice having someone who can work holidays. It’s so nice having someone who I can trust while I’m away, and I will be hiring her again!! I highly recommend. her.

Andrea was wonderful with my cat, Loki! He’s a very shy and scared boy but she was patient, reliable, and very responsive. She always arrived on time, made sure he was fed, and sent pictures, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I will definitely book with her again!

Mafalda with great with my 2 kitties! She kept me updated with video's and photos which help to feel at ease knowing they are getting fed and some snuggles. On the last day she even swept up the area around my liter box which was really nice to come home to:). Thank you Mafalda! Will book again:)
Madison took great care of our cats when we went on a trip. She was on time for every feeding, took lots of pictures, and was communicative throughout her time checking in our cats! One of our cats gets a bit excited during feeding time and she handled it well. We will definitely book with her again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
