“Laura is an awesome pet sitter! She took great care of our 2 Aussies. We communicated throughout our vacation and she sent photos daily. We found our home in perfect condition. We will definitely request her in the near future. Thank you, Laura!”

“Katelyn was great! I had a long list of details for my dog and Katelyn accommodated everything and was able to work with her when she was a little nervous and barking. She was very communicative and sent me a ton of pictures and updates. Would definitely have her watch Rue again and would recommend to anyone that needed a dog sitter!”

“Robin is fabulous. She sent pictures daily and took very good care of my special needs dog. It felt to not worry about my baby while I was on vacation.”

“Stella did a great job watching our dog for us in our house while we went out of town. Our dog has separation anxiety and so we always look for a sitter who is willing to stay home with him. Stella followed through on her word and that gave us peace of mind while we traveled. We would recommend and book Stella again.”

“My only regret is that I can only leave five stars. The experience was outstanding from beginning to end. All my expectations were blown away. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy our vacation and taking care of our pets while we were gone.”

“Dawn is the best! I have used her several times and will continue to do so. She is responsive, professional and dependable. She has a great attitude and sends pics of the pets. I can totally trust her.”

“Had Ryan watch our little Disco during our work trip to Chicago. During the trip, we received daily updates, along with cute photos and videos of his walks and play time, and we felt great knowing he was having a good time. Ryan is a great sitter; A+ and would definitely book again!”

“Charlene was the reason I was able to enjoy my week long trip! It was the first time I left my cat for so long and I got tons of pictures and videos😻 Charlene was such a great find!! I highly recommend her to care for your pet and home 🤗”

“Bridie was amazing. She took care of our little pup like he was her own. They spent the weekend together and he loved her!!!! She was responsive and we would recommend her to anyone that needs a pet sitter!!! 100% recommend”

“This is so long overdue but I couldn't go without leaving a review. Audrey was a fantastic Dog Sitter and I couldn't be more grateful for how she took care of Max. Quick to respond, clear communication, pictures, video and updates. I never once had to question how Max was doing while I was away. She also came to stay at the house. She left my house in the state she found it, stripped her bed before leaving and even asked if I had any other requests before she left. I will definitely be using Audrey again and truly appreciate her, and Rover, for making my time away as comfortable as possible for Max.”

“Shella is wonderful! She took great care of our home and fur babies while we were on vacation! She gave daily updates and plenty of park time for our dog. You can tell she really loves animals. We will definitely book with her again!”
“Alaina was professional, responsible and my pets all loved her. She even went above and beyond when an unanticipated, difficult situation arose. I would recommend her with confidence.”

“When Neil stays with Cooper, we feel as though he’s with a family member who know him, loves him And cares for exactly as we do. We will asking Neil again, and again to stay with our 4 legged family member. Thanks for a great job”

“Denys took amazing care of our dog Rocky while we were away. He was reliable, caring, and kept us at ease knowing Rocky was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. Highly recommend!”

“Mafalda was such a wonderful pet sitter for our 11 month old Havapoo! She was punctual and very communicative from the moment we booked up until the appointment day. We look forward to future bookings with Mafalda!”

“Amanda is awesome… We were nervous about having a stranger watch our Stella girl. But we found out almost immediately that we had picked the right sitter. We will definitely use her again.”

“Marianne is an angel and I did not worry about my girl’s care while we left her and our home in Marianne’s care. We are all blessed to have met Marianne and to have engaged her pet sitting services for our senior girl. Highly recommend in every way!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Broadview Park
Yasmine was amazing with Oliver! She took great care of him and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She kept me updated every step of the way with messages and picture updates, which I really appreciated. She also treated my home with so much respect and left everything just as I had it. I could tell Oliver was happy and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and communicative!

I have never left my dogs with anyone and was nervous in the beginning. I didn’t know how my dogs would react to a sitter but that all changed when we hired Ryan. We have 2 older dogs and he handled them both so well. He’s kind, compassionate and experienced. He was very patient with both dogs which makes all the difference when you have an older dog. I know he did a great job because they ended up loving him after a couple of days. I would recommend him over and over again and will use him in the future for sure.

David was a true please to work with during our stay at The HardRock Hollywood. He kept us up to date on how our Rudy was adjusting to a new sitter, sent photos, and was flexible with our return time. You couldn’t ask for a better sitter and such he is a lovely young man! Go NAVY!🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️

Adrianna is an excellent dog sitter! I have two rescue dogs, one is mine and one a foster and she was incredibly patient, allowing them to warm up and build trust at their own pace. She treated my dogs and my home with great care, and I felt completely at ease while I was away. I would absolutely recommend her, especially for anyone with rescue pups. 🐾

Maria was fabulous! The most attentive and communicative sitter we've ever had. She sent updates pretty much hourly for four days, sent sweet photos and videos of our pups continuously, and even cleaned the house before leaving. Our girls were so happy and well cared for when we got home. I will absolutely book her again!
Emily is simply wonderful. Left her with my two golden doodle boy brothers for a full week at my home. She executed everything to perfection from feeding schedules to walking to pictures and videos myself and my children felt comfortable the whole time with Emily and we would definitely use her again.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Broadview Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Broadview Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Broadview Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
