“Abigail took great care of my cat. I am new to the area and when called for an unexpected work trip, I turned to Rover. I reached out to Abigail and Abigal and received a response within 30 minutes she was available and assisted with setting up the meet/greet. My cat was a stray and is very timid, Abilgail took such great care not to traumatize her and was even able to get close enough to capture a photo. The fact that my cat didn't run is a great compliment to Abigail's patience and caring. I highly recommend this team if you are in the Fort. Lauderdale area, they will be my first go to for the next trip.”

I am available every day to care for others pets! I can drop in and walk all sizes of dogs and am willing to move my schedule around to help out! I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs and have been around and taking care of animals for the majority of my life. I also have experience with cats, turtles, geckos, bearded dragons, and hamsters. My dog Max has some health issues so I’m experienced in administering medication.

About: Hi, I'm Elizabeth! I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. At home, I have a Golden Retriever named Peach and a cat named Lily, who are my whole world. Growing up, I worked alongside my parents in their dog sitting business, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I've fostered and cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities. I specialize in dog walks and drop in visits for both dogs and cats. Whether your dog needs a walk, a potty break, some playtime, or your cat needs fresh food, a clean litter box, and a little company while you're away, I'm happy to follow their routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else and I'll care for them like they're my own, I can't wait to meet you and your furry family! I’m currently a part time student, so I have a very flexible schedule. This makes it easy for me to fit walks and drop in visits into my day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m able to work around your pet’s routine and give them the time and attention they need! I want pets to feel comfortable and happy in their own space, so I always try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible. During drop in visits, I can provide food and water, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and anything else they may need. For walks, I make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention while keeping them safe and comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have for your pet. Every dog and cat is different, and I want to make sure they get the kind of care that works best for them!
About: I've been caring for animals informally for years. I had my own fur baby, Charlie, who was so much more than a pet—he was my best friend for 13 years. He taught me that when it comes to caring for animals, the most important qualities are patience, consistency, empathy, and understanding that no two pets are the same. Since Charlie's passing, I've loved helping friends and family care for their furry companions, whether dogs or cats. One of my favorite parts is getting to know each pet's unique personality and what makes them tick. Whether it's long walks, chasing toys, cuddles on the couch, or simply enjoying each other's company, I love meeting pets where they are and giving them the care and attention they need. Spending time with furry friends has truly become one of my favorite ways to spend the day. I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, keeping them active, entertained, and sticking to their routines. I also have experience giving oral medications when they can be hidden in food or treats. A little about me—I'm a licensed mental health counselor, so patience, compassion, and empathy come naturally to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else's care. I'll treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I gave my Charlie boy. Whether you're away on vacation or simply at work for the day, I'll make sure to keep you posted with plenty of pictures and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. My schedule varies from week to week, but I’m generally available Thursday through Saturday for walks and drop-in visits! I make sure to keep my Rover calendar up to date so you can easily see when I’m available. Since my days off are dedicated to pet care, I can often accommodate different times throughout the day. Whether your furry friend needs a morning walk, a potty break, some playtime, or just a little extra company while you’re away, I’d love to spend some time with them! At this time, I'm offering dog walks and drop-in visits in your home. While I'm not currently able to provide boarding, I'm more than happy to come to your pet's familiar environment, where they can feel safe, comfortable, and stick to their normal routine. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, playtime in the backyard, a potty break, fresh food and water, or simply a lil extra love and time hanging out while you're away, I'll make sure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I'll always leave things just as I found them.

About: I have my own dog named Jake, he is now entering his senior years and just turned 13 this past December. I’ve had him since he was about a year old and we’ve been able to make lots of great memories together. I’ve worked at multiple grooming salons and have had limited veterinary experience. The vet experience has taught me to provide pets with liquid medication as well as pill medication. I have also raised kittens, not only when I was in school, but I now have my own kitten named Oakey, and she’s a fast growing girl! My own dog has problems with arthritis, so I know how important it is to take care when tending to your pets specific needs. Overall, I have strong love for animals and feel that the care I can provide to them will leave both pet and parent happy. I work full time in a remote setting which allows lot of flexibility location wise. My weekends and evenings are where I’m most available to provide care I currently do not do day care stays at my own home, but for care provided in my clients home I would ask for a list of requests so I can give your pet the care you desire. With my own dog, I’ve found he’s most comfortable in his own home, so I am confident that following your pets normal daily routine is the best way to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe while you are away.

“I'm so glad Brenda was available to help visit my kitty while I was away. I really appreciate the help! She was very kind and responsive. Hope to get her help again in the future!”

“Stacey was great! I had to book drop-ins for my elderly Yorkie while I was away and she was so helpful. She communicated every step of the way and sent pictures every visit which was greatly appreciated. I will definitely be using her services again in the future as my dog is very particular.”

“Laura has been wonderful with my two cats. She is great with communication, sends tons of photos, and the cats love her! Even my super shy kitty will peek her head out for Laura, which is rare. I always feel safe leaving my babies in her care.”

About: Hi, I’m Dayana! I enjoy providing attentive, compassionate care, whether that’s taking your dog on long, engaging walks or ensuring your pet feels safe and comfortable in a home environment. I am currently working part-time while pursuing my esthetician license, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and dedicate quality time to each pet in my care. My goal is to make every pet feel at ease, as if they’re in their own second home. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs and routines to ensure their comfort and well-being. I provide a safe, structured, and loving environment for all pets in my care. I have a consistent daily schedule and ensure pets receive morning and evening walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I plan my day around their needs, including potty breaks and exercise. Your fur baby will always be in a secure, supervised environment and treated like family. I currently live in an apartment community without a yard, but your fur baby will enjoy frequent outdoor potty breaks and regular walks throughout the day. I make sure all pets get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and stimulation to keep them happy and comfortable.
About: I’ve had pets of my own for more than 10 years and have also spent time fostering both dogs and cats, including animals with special needs. That experience has taught me that every pet needs something a little different, whether that means extra patience, a specific routine, a slower introduction, or just plenty of attention and reassurance. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with everything from newborn kittens to extra-large dogs, and I’m very comfortable around big breeds since we have large dogs of our own at home. Fostering has also given me experience working with animals who may be nervous, shy, adjusting to a new environment, or in need of a little extra care. I’m patient and attentive, and I always try to meet animals where they are rather than expecting them to immediately warm up to me. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, cautious and reserved, or convinced they should be the center of attention at all times, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend walks, drop-ins, and varying times throughout the day, including early mornings, late evenings, and everything in between. I know pet routines don’t always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule, so I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. Whether you need regular care, occasional help, or a little extra flexibility, I’ll do my best to make scheduling easy and reliable. Safety, trust, and communication are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, house rules, and any special instructions you provide. I also know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I make a point to keep owners in the loop. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and little check-ins so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. In your home, I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses, and I always respect both your space and your pet’s boundaries. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate right away if I notice something. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable while you’re apart.

I hired Janelle to come by my house while on vacation to check on my 4 cats. She was so nice at the meet and greet and really paid attention to the needs of my kitties. She came to my house and played with them, fed them, cleaned their litter, and refilled their water. She was on time, and did a great job. This was on a holiday as well, so it is nice having someone who can work holidays. It’s so nice having someone who I can trust while I’m away, and I will be hiring her again!! I highly recommend. her.

Madison took great care of our cats when we went on a trip. She was on time for every feeding, took lots of pictures, and was communicative throughout her time checking in our cats! One of our cats gets a bit excited during feeding time and she handled it well. We will definitely book with her again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
