“Valentina has been a pleasure to work with, she is very communicative and reliable. She has been amazingly helpful to our family and taking care of our fur baby, especially when things come up last minute. We appreciate having someone that is so dependable!!”

“Stephanie was amazing with my dogs Jaro & Shane. She is so caring & attentive. I felt very comfortable the entire time she was taking care of my pets. She treated them As her own & kept me updated every step of the way ! She was very timely & never failed to make sure they were well taken care of like they were her own.”

“Jenni has been a godsend - always available when i need her. She is very diligent with my 3 cats' care and special needs and gives me daily updates with photos. She is also a sweetheart, and I highly recommend her!”

“Jenette was incredible! She took excellent care of my little princess, and sent daily updates and pics to keep me in the loop. I couldn’t be happier with her service! Excellent!”

“Audrey was really great with my cats, she took care of them, followed all the instructions, and all the time in constantly communication providing details of her drop-in visit. For sure I’ll book her again to take care of them.”

“We are so grateful to Brianna for looking after our cat, Churchill, during our time away between August 19 and 27. This was the second time we’ve used her services, and once again, we couldn’t be more satisfied. Knowing that Churchill was in such caring and reliable hands gave us complete peace of mind.”

“Abigail took great care of my cat. I am new to the area and when called for an unexpected work trip, I turned to Rover. I reached out to Abigail and Abigal and received a response within 30 minutes she was available and assisted with setting up the meet/greet. My cat was a stray and is very timid, Abilgail took such great care not to traumatize her and was even able to get close enough to capture a photo. The fact that my cat didn't run is a great compliment to Abigail's patience and caring. I highly recommend this team if you are in the Fort. Lauderdale area, they will be my first go to for the next trip.”

About: i’ve had 3 pet dogs in my life since i was 10 years old, 13 years later, i’m down to two and i still love them with all my heart! i moved from Connecticut to Florida and looking to work doing something i love, caring for pets :) i know lots of the dogs on my street and i want to meet more! i have a neighbor who relies on me to watch her male chihuahua once in a while when her female pomski is in heat, and i used watch my cousins shihtzu when they would travel. i’m very strict about walking these guys on a schedule. my dogs have to go outside at least every 7 hours or less (i try to walk them whenever i have to “go” to get an idea). i have lots of experience with pets (mainly small and medium dogs 2-25lbs) i enjoy learning their different personalities likes and dislikes. i’ll care for your dog like it’s my own, :) <3 i’m happy to send constant updates feel free to ask me any questions about my experience and or my own pups :) i work part time so i have a lot of free time, i’m plan on starting small, and hopefully with the service i provide, i’ll build clientele and in a year i could raise my prices if the demand is high enough. right now my plan is to make enough cash to take online courses for a future career in my home i walk my dogs minimum of 3 times a day although most days it’s 4 (they dont wake up through the night and they sleep about 10-12 hours) i make them food most days, they’re picky about their food so i don’t have kibble at home in your home, i can make your pets food as well, so long you provide the ingredients of course i do well with walking them on schedules my dogs go to the dog park maybe once a week or maybe the beach, something fun as a sitter that’s something i can do for you as well im more than happy to take picture and videos and send you updates on your fur baby to help you feel more at ease with the distance between you and them <3
“Laura did an amazing job! She was on time and sent pictures everyday. I was very happy and satisfied with her service and will definitely request her again in the future”

“I'm so glad Brenda was available to help visit my kitty while I was away. I really appreciate the help! She was very kind and responsive. Hope to get her help again in the future!”

“Daniela was excellent with our two dogs! She was patient and caring, and had a real calming effect on our dogs, especially on one who is generally nervous. Daniela was also punctual, had great communication and responsiveness, and on top of sending us the details of each drop in. We plan to use her services again, and would highly recommend to anyone in need of pet help.”

“Laura has been wonderful with my two cats. She is great with communication, sends tons of photos, and the cats love her! Even my super shy kitty will peek her head out for Laura, which is rare. I always feel safe leaving my babies in her care.”

“Nicole has been absolutely incredible only after two weeks. My breed of dog takes time to adjust to new friends and family. Nicole has been able to patiently developed a bond to this point which we are confident will grow in time. This deserves mention and to be brought to the attention of others.”

“Wendy is absolutely wonderful. She has helped me on short notice many times, is incredibly kind, and always goes above and beyond. Cats adore her, and she’s been helpful even outside of pet care-like retrieving something accidentally left in the car. Truly appreciate her and can’t recommend her enough.”

“Alejandra was very easy to work with. She took care of my dog Jax while I away on a trip. She sent many photos and treated him well. I knew he was in good hands while I was gone.”

“Thank you Charlotte for watching over Teddy, you took great care of him & I appreciate it. Your thank you note was such a sweet touch, I will definitely be reaching out if I need a sitter again!”
“Monica was amazing . The dogs loved her. She is very reliable and I love that she sent me pictures and videos and full reports about what they did,eat and more. Definitely will use her again!!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Miramar
Sara took the time to always make everything as clean and tidy as I want my pet to have. He’s not very sociable (18yo Cat) so she had to go hunting for him and took a picture every day. That made me feel like he was OK, eating and using the litter box. Thank you, Sara! Until next time (I’ve used Sara’s services before) as I definitely recommend her for taking good care of your beloved pets.

Stephanie was absolutely amazing! She had great communication and told me when she was leaving and had arrived each time. She also gave me details of every visit, as well as many pictures. She also was very tentative to my elderly cats needs, including giving him medicine daily. She was very respectful of my house, and asked many questions to make sure that my cat was comfortable and had the best experience while I was gone. It was very evident that she truly cared about his needs, which means a lot to me because he’s like my child. I will definitely be using Stephanie in the future.
This was my first time leaving my cat in someone else’s care, and Tyler made the experience completely stress-free. He provided consistent communication, was incredibly reliable, and I felt confident enough to extend my trip thanks to him. I would absolutely use his services again and recommend him without hesitation.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Miramar. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
