“Valentina is amazing! We’re new to Rover and we were nervous to leave our babies - especially one battling leukemia. She loved them just as we would have if we were home and made us feel so comfortable to be away on our trip. We will absolutely use her again.”

“This was my first time using the Rover app and working with Daniela. It was well worth it! Daniela was very easy to work with. She was punctual, sent a lot of pictures and video and helped us with medication routine. She was so sweet and caring with our dogs. I look forward to working with her again and I highly recommend her to any pet owner looking for a caring and responsible sitter while away. Thank you, Daniela!!”

“Daniela is excellent with my cat Jett. She’s on time, makes sure he eats all his food and goes to the bathroom after. She always sends pictures of what he’s doing and loves to play with him! She’s a great sitter and makes sure Jett is safe.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs for friends, family, and myself since I was 13. I've had rescues, older dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and puppies. I've done basic obedience training and potty training with small and medium sized dogs and I've also taken care of older foster dogs I'm currently in between jobs so I have plenty of free time to watch and play with your furry family. I'm home full time 7 days a week and I live with my two retired parents I have a fenced backyard so they can run and play to their hearts content without any outside worries. I don't currently have animals of my own. I have no problem with crating a dog if requested, but I prefer to let them roam and be in the same room as them to watch over and play with.
“Amanda was great! I know that Arty was in great hands. From the meet and greet to the daily photos and check in. I know that I have found someone to watch over my little lady whenever I go out of town.”

“Thank you Charlotte for watching over Teddy, you took great care of him & I appreciate it. Your thank you note was such a sweet touch, I will definitely be reaching out if I need a sitter again!”
About: I’ve been in love with animals since I can remember. They are the most pure being on earth. My parents got me a German shepherd before I was even born, and I’ve spent all my life since then adopting dogs and caring for them. I lived in Argentina until I turned 19, I had 3 dogs when I was little, I took care of them and played with them every day of their lives until their passing. After that I adopted 3 more dogs and enjoyed every second with them until life said enough. I love having them around me at all times, no matter what I’m doing. I love to make them feel like they are part of my day and of the things that I do. Today, I have a frenchie that I rescued off the streets while I was at work. I took him to the vet every week for two months to make sure he was fully healthy. Today he sleeps with me as I’m someone who always sleeps with their dogs. I can adapt to any pet’s personality, I am attentive and patient and I could never ever get mad at an animal. I understand them and I can adapt to them as I know that they all have different personalities since each one of them are special in different ways. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments. My schedule is highly flexible right now, so I can easily accommodate short-notice bookings, weekdays or weekends, whatever works best for your pet’s daily routine and needs. I like to stay close to the dogs I care for at all times. Of course I take them out for walks, but when we’re at home I stay right there with them, keeping them company and playing with them so they never feel alone and because I love it. I also follow any house rules the owner sets, like rooms or areas that are off limits, in case that is what they want that. But I love having them around me so I will spend my time where they are. I’m also happy to just lie down with them, giving them attention and affection, and I like to think they can feel how much I love them.

“Briana has been great with my mini Australian Shepherd puppy. Very reliable, she gives updates throughout the visit and follows any instructions I give her. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Friends and family have come to me to help take care of their animals. I love all breeds and sizes! I am available every day to care for others pets! I can drop in and walk all sizes of dogs and am willing to move my schedule around to help out! I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs and have been around and taking care of animals for the majority of my life. I also have experience with cats, turtles, geckos, bearded dragons, and hamsters. My dog Max has some health issues so I’m experienced in administering medication.
“Luzmar was fantastic! She checked in on my cats and ensured they were well cared for. She showed up on time, communicated effectively, and kept me updated throughout. I could tell she genuinely cared for my pets. Highly recommend her services!”

“Nicole has been absolutely incredible only after two weeks. My breed of dog takes time to adjust to new friends and family. Nicole has been able to patiently developed a bond to this point which we are confident will grow in time. This deserves mention and to be brought to the attention of others.”

“Where do I start? To say Ameer is an excellent dog sitter is not enough. He is a bright and kind human who is also a professional animal lover. We went away knowing he had our backs and did everything we asked and more. There are not enough stars for him. ❤️”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! She had great communication and told me when she was leaving and had arrived each time. She also gave me details of every visit, as well as many pictures. She also was very tentative to my elderly cats needs, including giving him medicine daily. She was very respectful of my house, and asked many questions to make sure that my cat was comfortable and had the best experience while I was gone. It was very evident that she truly cared about his needs, which means a lot to me because he’s like my child. I will definitely be using Stephanie in the future.”
“Thanks so much for taking care of the pups! I really appreciate all the walks, feedings, and everything you did to keep them happy. It gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. ladded a little extra to say thanks - you went above and beyond. We'd love to have you back again next time!”

“Rachelle was a fantastic sitter for my cats! She was easy to contact and responded to messages in a timely manner. My kitties took to her immediately, and I was pleasantly surprised to see pictures of my normally shy babies sitting in her lap! She also left the cat bowls and litter boxes very clean, and even took out the trash without being asked. Leaving my cats under Rachelle's care gave me great piece of mind on my week-long trip, and I would highly recommend her. Thank you, Rachelle! :)”

“Catherine did a great job taking care of my boxer, Cash. Since he’s a larger dog and can be a bit anxious, I was a little worried leaving him while I was away, but she handled him very well and made the whole experience stress-free.”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and stages of life. I’ve raised puppies from birth when my dogs had a litter, and I currently care for my senior dogs, so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m reliable, attentive, and understand that every pet has different routines and needs. I’m also comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, administering basic medications, maintaining routines, and recognizing when a pet may not be feeling like themselves. I’m available Monday–Friday at any time and have a very flexible schedule. I’m currently studying for my state boards in occupational therapy, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I also work part-time at a pediatric clinic every other weekend, so I have additional weekend availability on the weekends I’m not working. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. My own dogs are seniors, so I’m very familiar with senior care, including making sure their food is soft and easy to eat as they’ve lost teeth, providing frequent bathroom breaks, keeping up with vet visits, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I also make sure they get appropriate exercise, fresh air, and plenty of time to relax and soak up the sun.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
