About: I've owned pets since 2013 and often dogsit my friends' dogs if they're away for an event, a weekend, or even a week at a time. I lived in Barbados for 2 years, where there are dozens of stray animals roaming the streets. I took in and rehabilitated an orange cat (featured in my photos) that has been brought to the US and is happily living in NYC with her new family. I do not have any pets in my apartment at the moment- my dog, Honey, is across the country with my mom. I have so much love to give pets and enjoy spoiling pets with the attention they deserve. I love their company on the couch, bringing them on my daily walks, and even the puppy eyes when I’m cooking. I live with my partner in a pet-friendly condominium on the 5th floor. We have a partially-fenced yard with grass surrounding the condo and a balcony with our unit. Our front door has a double key-lock, with no possibility of a pet escaping. It is a large, 2-bedroom condo with plenty of space to roam in the open-concept living room and kitchen. There's plenty of unobstructed room for pet belongings (food, toys, bedding, etc.). I do not have any other animals living in the unit, I do not have a crate, and I love animals sleeping in the room/bed with me (if owner allows).
