About: I’ve always been a helping hand when it comes to caring for pets, and family and friends have trusted me to watch their dogs whenever they needed someone reliable. I’m dependable, communicative, and adapt well to different pets and environments even snakes! Joining Rover felt like the perfect opportunity to provide that same level of care to pet owners outside of my own circle. I’m currently working part-time, so I have flexibility in my schedule to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m available for pet sitting and boarding on weekends, as well as weekdays before 4 p.m. My schedule may adjust once school starts, but I’ll always make sure to communicate my availability clearly. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines and any instructions they provide. I make sure pets are fed, have access to water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and are taken outside or given opportunities to use the restroom as needed. I’m very attentive to their needs and will communicate with the owner if anything seems unusual or if they need anything extra.
About: passionate dog lover with years of experience caring for furry friends. I understand that every pup has their own personality and needs, and I strive to provide personalized attention and care to each dog I look after. I am a homemaker that does not work a set schedule so I can be flexible to assist with pet care anytime of day and night I always ask owners for the specific needs, rules, schedule of their pets because every pet is unique and have their own needs and different personalities
“We can’t recommend Michelle enough! She took incredible care of our two pit bulls while we were in Miami for three months on a work contract. From day one, she made us feel completely comfortable, and we knew our pups were in good hands. Michelle went above and beyond, sending regular updates and photos that gave us so much peace of mind. When one of our dogs ran out of food, she even took the initiative to grab more for us. It’s hard to find someone you truly trust with your pets, but Michelle made it easy. We’re so grateful for her care and kindness. Without a doubt, we’ll be reaching out to her any time we’re back in Miami. Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life, and have taken care of my friends pets when they were out of town. I want to make sure they are well taken care of and give them everything they need. I currently go to school and have a part-time job and would love to take care of pets and fit them into my schedule. I would make all the time in the world for them. I make sure they are well fed and hydrated. Scoop out the litter box after every use. I play with them when they’re hyper and let them get rest when it’s needed. I make sure they trust me by warming up to them.

One is a yorkie and the other a cockerpoo, In the past year I got 4 more dogs, two greyhounds, a retriever and a small mix breed. One of the greyhounds has heart problems and takes medicine so I also have experience administering oral medicine. I have also administered eye medication on the smaller dog. I have also volunteered at the Humane Society as a Dog PAL spending time with the animals. I love dogs and will treat your dogs as my own. I'm a recent graduate and just moved to New York so as I look for a full time job, I have open availability.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up with dogs, cats, a bird, and even a bunny, so I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of pets. I have two years of experience caring for my neighbors’ cats while they were away, including feeding, cleaning litter boxes, giving medication, and spending time playing with them. I’ve also had my own cat for the past four years, and at one point I had four cats, including a senior cat who was blind, so I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities. I know cats often require a different approach than dogs, and I’m happy to go at their pace to help them feel safe and comfortable. I also have experience giving daily medication to my family’s dog and regularly walk my parents’ dogs whenever I’m home. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I’ll care for yours with the same patience, attention, and love I’d want for my own I recently graduated from the University of Miami, so my schedule is very flexible while I search for a full-time position. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I’ll always communicate my availability in advance and make sure your pets receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I’ll carefully follow your instructions and your pet’s routine exactly as you’ve outlined, from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and any special requests. I have experience caring for senior pets and administering medication, and I’ve stayed calm during an unexpected medical emergency while caring for my mom’s dog by getting her to the vet right away. I’ll treat your pets like family and keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know they’re safe and happy.

Whether your dog needs a place to stay, a companion for walks, or daytime supervision, I've got you! I work from home and stay home during the weekends for the most part. When working, I need to take walking breaks for my own health, nothing better than furry walking companions. I own a home with a large, fenced yard. For client’s homes, I prefer to have the dog’s preferences and schedule to mitigate disruptions to their routine.
“Makayla has been really helpful and understanding with Mili. We had to hire her for mid day visits during the time I had to be away from the country for more than two months. Mili wasn’t coping very well with it as she was being left alone in the house for prolonged hours! Makayla managed her energy and took care of her during her visits and was very understanding and flexible with everything. She once had to deal with the mess caused my mili tearing up a stuffed toy. She picked it all up and let us know that one part of the toy was missing which helped us take action on time and make sure my pup was safe. I really appreciate her being proactive in difficult situations and would definitely trust her and recommend her.”

Elisha took care of our 2 Pomeranians. It was the first time for us, so we were a little worried, since we left for a week. But Elisha took such good care of them that after the second day we were at ease, knowing the dogs were in perfect hands. Thank you for everything! We will definitely reach out to you again as soon as we have to fly somewhere!
Nina was fantastic! From the beginning communication was excellent and she made sure to send me pictures and updates about Blue. When I got home everything was perfect and Blue was a happy boy. I highly recommend her services! Until next time! Thank you again!

Great sitter!! My plans changed at last minute and Nick was very understanding and flexible with me, I really appreciated it! He took notes and followed every request I had for my pets to a T!! They were very well cared for and were so calm when I came home that I know they felt at ease with him. I plan on booking again and highly recommend Nick for drop ins! Nick, thank you again, hope to see you soon!

Michelle is exactly the person my husband and I needed for our puppy. She is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and responsible. She communicated throughout her multiple check ins and put us at ease while we were away. We would love to have her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
