âMichelle was an excellent sitter â 10/10! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, regularly sending updates and adorable photos of our dog, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was patient and attentive to our dogâs unique needs, giving him both the space and affection he required to feel comfortable. On top of that, she took great care of our home â everything was exactly as we left it. We feel so lucky to have found her and would absolutely book with her again!â

âAnthony was an amazing dog sitter for our dogs and was very communicative and dedicated to our requests. Looking forward to booking him again as our dogs absolutely loved having him take care of them!â

âNatalie was so great! We did a couple meet and greets as one of my babies is a little wary of new people. She was so patient and a dog whisper. Both my dogs took to her so fast. She was extremely communicative during our trip and sent lots of photos. She followed all our instructions perfectly and gave our dogs lots of love and attention. We would love to have her house sit for them again in the futureâ

âPhillip took great care of my pup and my home. It was spotless on my return, which was great to come home to after a late flight and way above and beyond what I expected of him. Will definitely hire again.â

About: Hi, my name is Tiffany Rodriguez! Iâve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been an important part of my life. Iâm currently a college student studying Business and Marketing, and in my free time I enjoy performing music. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to providing reliable, affordable, and high-quality pet care. I offer rates starting as low as $10 per hour (depending on service and time), because I believe excellent pet care should also be accessible. My experience: ⢠Over a decade of personal and professional dog care ⢠Proud owner of 3 dogs (two Yorkies, Shy and Mio, and a French Bulldog named Big Jim, who I first fostered and then adopted) ⢠Ongoing foster and rehoming experience with stray and homeless dogs ⢠Skilled with dogs of all temperaments, including energetic and high-needs pups What I provide: ⢠Walks, drop-ins, boarding, and transportation services ⢠A safe, fenced home (front and backyard with reinforced chicken wire) for pups to play and explore ⢠Lots of patience, energy, and one-on-one attention Before booking: I do require a meet-and-greet to ensure your pup feels comfortable and safe. Please let me know in advance about any history of aggression, biting, marking, or special needs so I can provide the best care possible. Your pup will be treated like family, with plenty of love, safety, and fun. Having pups of my own, I know what it takes to properly care for and love your furry family member. You're welcome to come for a meet and greet to ensure it's the right fit for you and your fur baby. We promise that both you and your dog will feel at home here. Your furbaby will always be monitored, whether they're playing outside or lounging indoors with the A/C. We allow your pup to roam freely around the house during the day and at bedtime, using crates only upon request. Your baby will receive all the comforts of home, affection, exercise, and 24/7 individual attention due to our smaller intake. Plus, you'll get real-time photos, videos, and communication for total peace of mind. I also extend my services to reptiles and birds as well! Iâd be more than happy to care for them as well. I'm frequently in the Hialeah, North Miami, Little Havana, and South Miami areas, so I'm very flexible. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily fit pet care into my daily or weekly routine since I have time in between to give them the undivided attention needed. I currently have two little Yorkies in my home. They have plenty of toys, cozy beds, and pads to do their business on. We also have video cameras to keep an eye on them, a secure fence all around the house, and a backyard for playtime.

About: I have been pet-sitting for family and friends for about 5 years, cats and dogs! I believe patience is key and I really enjoy spending time with my furry friends! Please reach out if you have any questions, thank you! I work a 9-5 but my evenings, early mornings and weekends are mostly free. I live & work near Aventura area & I have flexibility outside of my work hours. I can only pet-sit at the clients home since I have a cat at my home. I am flexible, please inform me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
âAs always Alexandra was amazing with my dog. Heâs really warmed up to her and has started to enjoy her company and we can step out knowing heâs well taken care of.â

âAntonio and his husband, Ricardo, were absolutely amazing with my IVDD frenchie! They communicated with me the entire week I was away, providing updates and pictures morning, afternoon, and evening, which really put my mind at ease. I was worried about leaving my dog with a sitter since she had just had a recent IVDD flare-up, but Antonio made sure to distribute all her medications correctly and did a great job calming a sometimes reactive frenchie on her walks (in and out the pram)to keep her safe. Definitely would recommend Antonio and plan to rebook for any future trips and stop in walks while at work!â

About: Hi! my name is Luciana and I'm a dog lover. I have two dogs that I have cared for for nine years. One is a yorkie and the other a cockerpoo, In the past year I got 4 more dogs, two greyhounds, a retriever and a small mix breed. One of the greyhounds has heart problems and takes medicine so I also have experience administering oral medicine. I have also administered eye medication on the smaller dog. I have also volunteered at the Humane Society as a Dog PAL spending time with the animals. I love dogs and will treat your dogs as my own. I'm a recent graduate and just moved to New York so as I look for a full time job, I have open availability.
âAlejandra was wonderful! She had never met Balkan before and he has that puppy high energy but she handled him so well! She kept sending me updates and pictures. Will definitely work with her again!â

About: Pet boarding & house sitting services offered. I recently completed an internship which began after my college graduation. As I embark on my next professional endeavor, I would love to spend my time with the temporary companionship of a pet without the permanent responsibilities of owning one, especially because I might move if I receive a full-time job offer in another city. I owned a cat for 14 wonderful years until her passing. I really enjoy cats of all types, from cuddly to shy. I am very responsible when it comes to dogs, I will walk dogs based on their walk schedules. As of right now, I stay home most of the day while I seek full-time employment. I currently live with my mother, so having her around is an extra set of eyes on your pet. Neither of us are allergic to any animals. Both my mother & I are vaccinated & boosted from the coronavirus. My daily routine is very flexible as of right now, I am just looking for a full-time job. I can walk dogs based on their schedules & have all the time in the world for a cat companion. I live in an apartment with a balcony & will not allow your pet on the balcony unless it is okay with you (the owner). Pets are free to roam around my bedroom & the common spaces of the apartment I share with my mother, her bedroom is off limits. Pet care fits perfectly throughout my daily & weekly routine. My schedule is very flexible while I search for full-time employment (I am searching for something that is related to sustainability). I mostly allow pets to roam around as they please, unless the owner requests a different style of caretaking. I stick to their schedules, ensuring that the temporary transition into my home is as enjoyable & stress-free as possible (most of my bookings happen to be boarding in my home, rather than in the owner's). I am always available to house-sit & watch your pet from the comfort of their own home, if that is a better fit for your pet.

âJackie is such a pleasant person and an excellent care taker for our Megan and Saber and our home. We are blessed to have her in our lives. We cannot wait to have her back! Highly recommended.â

About: Hi everyone, my name is Nick. I grew up in a family that always had a dog. Caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. My own rescue dog, Duke, was my best friend for six years until he sadly passed from cancer. That experience deepened my love and appreciation for the bond we as people share with our pets. I bring years of hands-on care with dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior companions. I pride myself on being reliable, compassionate, and attentive. I would love the opportunity to spend time with dogs in my neighborhood, giving them the same love and care I gave my own! Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which means your pet is always my priority. I can easily adjust my day around walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship, ensuring they get consistent care and attention whenever they need it. When caring for pets in a clientâs home, I prioritize safety and comfort. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistentâwhether thatâs feeding, walks, playtime, or medication. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and I keep fresh water available throughout the day. I give plenty of attention, affection, and exercise so your dog feels loved and relaxed while youâre away. At the same time, I treat your home with respect, keeping things tidy and making sure both your pet and your space are well cared for.
âAaron was so good with Mugsy. My dog is a special needs untrained puppy. It is not easy. Aaron was patient and tired my puppy right out. He also left my house clean and I felt comfortable with him being there while I was gone. I highly recommend Aaron to watch your pets!â
âLaura took great care of our dogs during our short weekend trip! She was really communicative and kept us updated as the girls were fed and walked. She sent tons of pictures and videos throughout her stay! Laura was very respectful and also left our house nice and clean. I highly recommend having Laura take care of your fur babies!â

âDenys took amazing care of our dog Rocky while we were away. He was reliable, caring, and kept us at ease knowing Rocky was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. Highly recommend!â

âWe had the best experience with Andreina and Mercedes!! They cared for our dog so well we were able to enjoy our time away with no worries. We will definitely rebook with them the next time we need a pet sitter!â

About: I've taken care of cows, horses, cats, dogs, monkeys and many other types of critters. I was raised with many different types of animals growing up in Central America. I was raised in California and Honduras. I trap and release local cats to reduce the reproduction of strays. I have a lot of time due the fact that i am working a remote job where my time is scheduled by myself. I work around the clients time and not my own. I live with 4 cats and 1 dog so managing another animal would be easy. I accommodate to whatever situation I encounter so I don't get surprised.
âMonica took excellent care of my dog Maddie. She was home with her nonstop and provided me plenty of photos and updates. She even left my home cleaner than when she found it. I would absolutely recommend her.â

About: Hi, My name is Michael M. I just moved backed home to Miami. Since my first memories we have always owned dogs. My mom had a habit of picking up stray dogs. Her heart always broke when she saw a furry defenseless dog begging for food or needing shelter. My mom's big heart exposed me to many types of dogs all different sizes and temperament. I have been dog sitting for a while now and it's one of my favorite things to do. I am a realtor and I am able to work from home during the day while clients are working and when I am away it's for only a few hours at a time. I have a fenced yard. Like I said my dog loves social interaction with other friendly doggies and would love to find friends he could play with. I am a real estate agent with my office at home. I will be able to watch over them while they play.
Miami Shores pet parents share their Rover experiences
Laura is fantastic! We traveled to Brazil for a week and we were pretty nervous about leaving our babies with someone new. Laura came for a meeting with us and we liked her right the way. She has a very friendly personality and she is also very reliable. During our trip she communicated with us every day, sending us pictures of our dogs. Our babies loved her. Iâm really happy that we found Laura, we will be traveling again in March and she will be sitting for us .

I could not be happier with Blas. This was my first time using Rover and Blas made me feel confident and comfortable with all of his communication. He seems to be a very kind person and has a genuine love for animals. Our little guy took to him right away. Blas kept me updated with Enzoâs walks and feeding including pictures and a video. I will definitely use him again next time Iâm in Miami.

I can't recommend anyone more highly. After my original house sitter was injured and had to cancel the day before leaving for my son's wedding... Sophia came right over, met my dogs and took great care of them for the next 5 nights... including daily pictures and videos. Most importantly... my dogs love her. I can't wait to hire her again.

Lis was great . I went away for a trip and she communicated through out the time I was away sent pictures and just made everything so convenient for me even picked and dropped him off would definitely recommend her to anyone . She really loves animals and your little ones will definitely be in the right hands .

Victoria is great. Very responsive, communicative, sent photos and updates, etc. Definitely appreciate her being flexible when my flight got delayed and I was home later than expected. My dog Charlie seemed to really like her and immediately feel comfortable with her and cozy at her home. Absolutely would use her services again
Janelle sat for our dog for a second time while we were away and, again, we are so pleased with the care and love she gave our pup. She kept us updated throughout the trip with pics, videos, and messages on how he was doing. She really kept us at ease. We feel so fortunate to have someone provide such great companionship and understanding of our dogâs needs. Thank you, Janelle!

I recently entrusted my two beloved dogs, Miles and Archie, to Kim for the first time and I couldnât be more pleased with the experience! From the moment we had our meet and greet, her warmth and genuine love for animals shone through. She arrived with treats and new toys, instantly winning over Miles and Archieâs hearts! Throughout their stay, Kim went above and beyond, sending daily updates with tons of pictures that captured my boys looking happy, comfortable, and having an absolute blast. It was clear they were not only well cared for but truly cherished. Her attentiveness, enthusiasm, and knack for making my dogs feel at home gave me peace of mind while I was away. Kim is an absolute doll, very professional, kind, and a natural with pets. Miles and Archie did great with Kim and we will definitely book her again. If youâre searching for a dog sitter who treats your furry family like their own, we highly recommend!
Halle is very sweet and clearly cares about animals. She spent a lot of time with Indie and Zorro, walked Indie daily, and they were safe and loved while I was away. That said, as a newer sitter, there were a few misses with following household instructions â particularly around my senior catâs strict urinary diet/treat limits and maintaining the no-sofa rule for my dog (who is a semi-recent rescue that can be stubborn at times). Communication was also lighter than I prefer, and I would have appreciated more proactive daily updates and supply check-ins. Overall, she has a kind heart and good intentions, but Iâd recommend her most for lower-maintenance pets and households with simpler routines as she continues gaining experience.
