“Thank you Leslia for taking care of our puppy!! She was so sweet throughout the check in and attentive to his needs. Leslia clearly loves and knows a lot about dogs, and we were so lucky to have her. Thanks again!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Kelly! She was so reliable, friendly, kind, attentive, caring and sweet with my dog Benny. She went above and beyond to help me when I was in need. I am forever grateful to find Kelly and will recommend her to anyone!! I was so nervous about finding the right sitter for my high maintenance doggy but Kelly knew exactly what to do. Always sending me photos and videos while she’s caring for him. Checking in and out with me when she comes and goes. Always on time or early. 10000/10!!!”

About: Hi, I'm Oscar! I've had a special bond with pets since I was a kid, which inspired me to volunteer at a rescue dog foundation. There, I provided shelter and care to countless pups, learning the joy of seeing them find their forever homes. I understand that pets are part of the family, and I treat every animal with the love and attention they deserve. Let me help you care for your furry family—they’ll always be in good hands! Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because it's something I genuinely love doing. As I work part-time, I have the flexibility to dedicate quality time to caring for your furry family. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or ensuring they feel comfortable and loved, I plan my schedule to make sure their needs are always met. Providing reliable, compassionate care is a priority for me. I focus on providing care in my client’s home, ensuring that pets remain comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I tailor my approach to meet their unique needs. I pay close attention to instructions and routines to maintain consistency and ensure your furry family feels safe and loved while you’re away.
About: I have experience with boarding and walking a variety of dogs from young, untrained puppies to larger dogs. I can be relied on to check-in/walk your pets while you are at work or can take on longer multiple day stays. I’m currently a biology PhD student and my schedule currently allows for great flexibility to adapt to your pet’s needs. I’m highly communicative and excited to work with you so you feel at ease leaving your pet in my care :) I am currently a graduate student with a fairly flexible schedule that allows me to work from home if needed so I can give your pets greater attention. Otherwise, I may go in for a morning or afternoon, but have the flexibility to return home for frequent walks. I currently live with my boyfriend in Victoria Park in Ft. Lauderdale in a very pet friendly, walkable neighborhood. I’m only a couple blocks from Holiday Park where I often take any pets that come to stay with me :)
“I looooooove Natalie! She is amazing with my dogs. My German Shepard has no manners but she deals with him with ease. I have an old blind chihuahua and she's so careful with him...🥰 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Andria is the most responsible, caring, and considerate cat sitter I have ever used!! She is so good with my cats and has even won over my difficult kitty who is usually afraid of cat sitters. Not only does she make sure my cats are taken care of, she also looks after my apartment and cleans up all the messes my cats make while I’m gone- which is above and beyond and makes coming home much nicer! Thank you Andria for taking such good care of my kitties :-)”

“Jacqueline was fantastic! She took great care of our dogs while we were visiting RI. I loved getting all the pictures and the report on how the dogs were doing. Will definitely have her care for my dogs again.”

“Laureen was AMAZING! She took Zuri for consistent long walks and played with her to help get her energy out. She also assisted with dropping her off at the groomer’s. Laureen also communicated with me often and I felt at ease the entire weekend I was away. Would 100% recommend.”

About: I've owned pets since 2013 and often dogsit my friends' dogs if they're away for an event, a weekend, or even a week at a time. I lived in Barbados for 2 years, where there are dozens of stray animals roaming the streets. I took in and rehabilitated an orange cat (featured in my photos) that has been brought to the US and is happily living in NYC with her new family. I do not have any pets in my apartment at the moment- my dog, Honey, is across the country with my mom. I have so much love to give pets and enjoy spoiling pets with the attention they deserve. The qualities I have as a graduating medical student directly translate into my care for pets- being punctual, patient, and passionate. I'm a full-time medical student with a fluctuating schedule. My weekends are free for boarding, walks, etc., but weekdays depend on my schedule for the given month. Weekday work schedule typically starts at 7am, and my availability will most often start at 5pm (or earlier some days). When I am home, I integrate my pet into everything I do. I love their company on the couch, bringing them on my daily walks, and even the puppy eyes when I’m cooking. I live with my partner in a pet-friendly condominium on the 5th floor. We have a partially-fenced yard with grass surrounding the condo and a balcony with our unit. Our front door has a double key-lock, with no possibility of a pet escaping. It is a large, 2-bedroom condo with plenty of space to roam in the open-concept living room and kitchen. There's plenty of unobstructed room for pet belongings (food, toys, bedding, etc.). I do not have any other animals living in the unit, I do not have a crate, and I love animals sleeping in the room/bed with me (if owner allows).
About: I have taken care of pets my whole life, and have taken care of my friends pets when they were out of town. I want to make sure they are well taken care of and give them everything they need. I currently go to school and have a part-time job and would love to take care of pets and fit them into my schedule. I would make all the time in the world for them. I make sure they are well fed and hydrated. Scoop out the litter box after every use. I play with them when they’re hyper and let them get rest when it’s needed. I make sure they trust me by warming up to them.
“Tiffany was a great Dog sitter. Her customer service was exceptional to let me know about my dog and how was he doing with pictures. Always on time and very professional. I will definitely consider her services again should the need arise.”

About: I’ve had several dogs as I grew up. Pitbulls mostly. I love playing, walking, talking and being around dogs. I know what to do and what not to do when it comes to dogs. It fits into my routine because everyday I walk my dog missy around our neighborhood. I feed her around a certain time, give the food time to digest then take her for a walk let her get everything out her system and let her enjoy leaving her scent and seeing the other dogs in our neighborhood. I have a fence/gate around my house in case a clients pet isn’t friendly or good around other animals. I have a personal area that their pet can be able to enjoy.
About: I have 1 year experience in training and pet sitting puppies from big pure breads to small mixed puppies. I also had a dog of my own who had a couple of health problems as well as more of a senior dog. I am available, Thursday and Fridays as well as Tuesday mornings. I am also available Sunday mornings and every other Saturday morning as well. My schedule does tend to follow part time hours as I am currently a student at CLC. For my pets at home and the ones I take care of I tend to follow and or make a schedule that goes along with the dogs routine and talk to the families to help make a list of dos and don’ts with their dogs as I know they know their pets the best.
About: With four years of experience as a large dog owner (pandemic dog), I understand the needs and joys of caring for bigger breeds. I offer pet sitting services, including boarding, walking, and daytime care, ensuring your furry friend is happy, healthy, and well-cared for while you're away. I own a home with a big backyard, perfect for meeting your dog's outdoor needs, providing plenty of space for play and exercise. I provide a safe, loving environment to give you peace of mind. Whether your dog needs a place to stay, a companion for walks, or daytime supervision, I've got you! I work from home and stay home during the weekends for the most part. When working, I need to take walking breaks for my own health, nothing better than furry walking companions. I own a home with a large, fenced yard. For client’s homes, I prefer to have the dog’s preferences and schedule to mitigate disruptions to their routine.

One is a yorkie and the other a cockerpoo, In the past year I got 4 more dogs, two greyhounds, a retriever and a small mix breed. One of the greyhounds has heart problems and takes medicine so I also have experience administering oral medicine. I have also administered eye medication on the smaller dog. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Miami
Elisha took care of our 2 Pomeranians. It was the first time for us, so we were a little worried, since we left for a week. But Elisha took such good care of them that after the second day we were at ease, knowing the dogs were in perfect hands. Thank you for everything! We will definitely reach out to you again as soon as we have to fly somewhere!
Nina was fantastic! From the beginning communication was excellent and she made sure to send me pictures and updates about Blue. When I got home everything was perfect and Blue was a happy boy. I highly recommend her services! Until next time! Thank you again!

Michelle is exactly the person my husband and I needed for our puppy. She is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and responsible. She communicated throughout her multiple check ins and put us at ease while we were away. We would love to have her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
