“Amanda is warm and friendly. She was so enthusiastic about caring for my lil lady. My girl is 16 with special needs. I felt confident that my girl was in good hands.”

“Jennalynn was awesome with Pepper. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with rescue dogs which is hard to find. I have a fearful reactive dog I recently adopted, so I had to give her 100 details about her background. Her communication to come up with an intro plan made things so much easier. I highly recommend Jennalynn for all dog needs!”

About: My tripawd doggie and my senior cat fill my heart with love, but there’s more to go around! I have had pets all my life and never turned down a request to assist a friend with a drop in visit, a walk or a play date with my dog. I take tug of war seriously 🫡 and can accommodate even the longest of walks needed. I love dog parks, so as long as the owner is also into them, I will happily and responsibly include them in a routine. For cats, I have experience with senior cats in dare conditions (including administering IV, pill swallowing and showering with love, pets and scritches). I’m not afraid of cleaning up a floor mess and brushing cats in need of it. I currently work remotely in South Beach. I have great flexibility in the afternoon and evenings and often take my own dog to the beach, super close to me. I have a very chill cat that can be isolated in a bedroom if necessary. My dog LOVES to play with other dogs and I will happily throw a blanket on the couch and let them get tired!
“This is my second time booking Leo! He showed up exactly when scheduled and remembered details from the first booking that I had forgotten to re-share. Thank you so much for taking care of my two little ones!”

As a lifelong dog owner, I’ve been surrounded by dogs since I was 6, managing up to three dogs at once, including German Shepherds and a Shih Tzu. I understand the unique needs of different breeds and energy levels, ensuring your dog gets the right amount of exercise and attention at the right time. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing extra care, I offer personalized walking and sitting services that prioritize your pet’s happiness and well-being. Let me give your dog the love and care they deserve! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine because I work from home and have a lot of free time. This flexibility allows me to give my pet plenty of attention throughout the day, and I live in a pet-friendly area, which makes it easy to enjoy outdoor activities together. I provide personalized care for pets by offering walks, feeding, playtime based on their needs. I ensure pets feel comfortable and stick to their routines, following specific instructions for each pet to create a safe and stress-free environment, whether in my home or my clients' homes.

“Silvia is amazing!! Both of my cats loved her right from the first time they met her (and one of them is very shy and doesn’t usually engage much with new people). Silvia is super communicative and shared updates and photos for each check-in visit. It’s clear she absolutely LOVES animals, and I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I treat every pet like family. I know what it means to love and to lose, and that experience shaped how carefully I care for the ones still here. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to focus on pet care, playtime, and companionship. I enjoy long walks in nature and taking the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and routine. I care for every pet with patience, presence, and respect. I live in a quiet, cozy one-bedroom apartment with two cats. There is no balcony, and the space is calm and secure. For dogs, there is a designated dog park in my building. I always follow pet parents’ instructions closely to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats my whole life. My 16 year old pitbull/american bulldog mix Riley was the light of my life. She passed away in April and I’m not ready yet to adopt again. Recently I have been watching my friends dogs for company at home because my apartment feels so empty without her. I have experience with both senior dogs and puppies and reactive dogs as well. I also have experience with administering medication and caring for dogs with special needs. I am responsive around the clock- I work full time in Marine Operations at Norwegian cruise line so I am always available by phone and you will never have difficulty reaching me. Monday through Thursday I usually go to the office from about 7am - 2pm. If a dog I’m caring for needs more attention I usually just take some work from home days. Otherwise we would have a nice long sunrise walk before I leave home at 7 and an afternoon walk upon my arrival at 2:30 ish. If your dog enjoys car rides I would also love to take them on adventures to get coffee, or visit my parents (they live just 10 blocks from me). It’s really whatever your dog is accustomed to I will provide. I live in a spacious apartment 1 bed 2 bath. My building has a dog park in the complex, but I prefer to walk in my neighborhood. It’s a beautiful area with lots of waterfront and grass in front of the homes for exploring. In my apartment, Dogs are allowed on all the furniture but if that’s not allowed in your house I won’t encourage it.
“Lisa was great! I felt very comfortable leaving my 2 cats in her care. She sent photos and updates of them at every visit. I recommend this sitter and would book her again in the future.”

About: Hello! 🐾 Taking care of animals never feels like a job. I’ve spent over a decade walking, caring for, and (most importantly) snuggling dozens of dogs and cats, and I truly love being around animals of all kinds. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs a long walk or a shy cat who wants quiet company, I meet every pet where they are with patience, attention, and lots of affection. At home, I’ve been a proud cat mom for 13 years to my two sweet tabbies, Rosita and Emilio, so I understand how much pets are family. I’ll treat yours with the same care, respect, and love, plus plenty of updates and photos so you always feel connected. Let’s make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved, even when you’re not home 🤍 I am a self-employed writer and musician working remotely and I can stay with your pet all day at home, feed them and care for them, and walk them twice or three times a day in the morning and the evening. I can walk and care for your pets in your home, play with them and give them lots of love. I cannot take care of pets in my own home at the moment.
“Stephanie was an absolutely wonderful sitter for my cat, Saber! 🐾 She was clean, organized, and left my home in amazing condition. I especially appreciated how detailed her notes were — she really took the time to communicate and keep me updated, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear Saber was very well cared for, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.”

“So incredibly sweet and responsive! We are so grateful for her being able and willing to take care of our fur babies! Our little one is incredibly shy with new people and she was able to work with him so well. Super appreciative!”

“Thank you Charlotte for watching over Teddy, you took great care of him & I appreciate it. Your thank you note was such a sweet touch, I will definitely be reaching out if I need a sitter again!”
“Julianna is the best! She is so kind and always makes my cat Squid comfortable, entertained, and feel loved! She is dependable and always goes above and beyond!! Always happy to have her care!!!”

“Katherine was a great choice to watch our cat! She was very communicative and made sure the boxes were all checked before we even left town :) She also didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond to clean up hairballs and let us know! Would recommend for sure!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Miami Beach
We recently started using Mary for dog sitting, and it’s been an excellent experience from the start. She is incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Our dog warmed up to her right away, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Our dog usually doesn’t warm up to people when she first meets them. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with your pet, but Mary has exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.

Dayron is truly such a blessing! It gives me complete peace of mind knowing my dog is in such loving, caring hands while I’m away. He treats Panda like his own, and it’s clear how much genuine affection and attention he gives him. Having someone so sweet, reliable, and trustworthy makes all the difference. I know Panda has a wonderful buddy in Dayron. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Miami Beach with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
