About: I have had one dog in the past. Her name is Gigi and she is a golden doodle. She is an extremely active dog who keeps me active 24/7. She loves to cuddle and play and is so caring with people and other animals. The most unique characteristic about Gigi is that she has been obedient since the day we got her. Her training was so simple and easy to do. Training her was so easygoing that I learned enough to train my best friends dog Mia. I think having such a sweet puppy like Gigi made it even more fun to care and train for dogs. I trained Gigi and Mia to be able to remain calm in stressful/overstimulating moments, they are both well skilled in recognizing hand and verbal signals. Both are well behaved when hey are not wearing a leash and also very well in controlling impulsive behavior. I currently work full time so I am available in the afternoons. I am off by 5pm. I am available every weekend, all day. I do plan on having a more flexible schedule in the next 2 months. I personally do not have any pets at the moment. I have had 1 pet in the past and have been trusted by a few friends to care after their pets. I always ask the owner the basic information I need regarding their pets and do my best to ensure a fun and safe environment for all animals!
About: Being around animals makes me really happy since I was a kid!!! 🐾 I miss my dogs and cats very much!!! They are currently being cared for by my parents back in Brazil. I moved to Miami one year ago, and since arriving I’ve already done some dog sitting and dog walks around my neighborhood. It would be so nice to meet you and your pets! :) I have a very flexible schedule! I’m available most days, mornings and afternoons. Feel free to reach out and we can arrange the best time for you and your pet 🐾 I visit pets in their own home, so they stay comfortable in their familiar environment. Growing up around 3 cats and 3 dogs in my family, I understand different pet personalities with care and patience! 🐾
“Jennifer did a great job taking care of my dogs. She is super sweet and can tell she’s an animal lover. She was punctual and gave my dogs love and attention. Will be using her again!”

About: I’ve always grown up with pets in my life! From the multiple dogs we had in my childhood, to the cats we adopted later on, to the pet walking and pet boarding services I’ve offered to friends and family, I love to be around our furry friends. My childhood dog passed away a couple years ago, and at the end of her life she was dealing with diabetes and blindness— I understand and know the special care, attention, and love that is required for our older babies ❤️ Currently, I live at home alone, with a fenced backyard and ample safe space for pets to hang out in, with no other dogs or cats. I work from home and am able to give my full undivided attention to your pets! I’m currently working part time and remotely so I have more than enough time to focus on your pets needs. My working hours are in the morning where I connect online, but am able to go for walks before then as well. I am a huge outdoors person and love going for walks!! My home is a very pet-friendly safe space, with a big fenced backyard that gives pets space to hang out comfortably. The house has spacious living rooms where the pets can be in as well with much space. The house is in a residential calm area, also nearby to The Underline— great for walks! I’m able to walk, feed, and water pets as often as needed.
“Valerie did a great job checking in on my two cats. Was very responsiveness in communication and provided updates each visit. She made my absence easier for both me and them.”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life, helping friends and neighbors with theirs. I know how important it is for a dog to break up their daily routine, stay active, and be well taken care of when their owners are busy. I am fully committed to giving your pet the attention, exercise, and personalized care they deserve, with total reliability I have a very flexible daily routine that allows me to fully adapt to whatever schedule works best for your pet. I have plenty of time to organize dedicated outings or check on them at home exactly when needed, ensuring they never break their usual routine. Safety is my number one priority. When caring for a pet, I make sure to maintain constant supervision and double-check that everything is properly locked and secure when leaving their home. I follow the owner's instructions to the letter to guarantee the dog stays calm, comfortable, and safe at all times.
About: Hello, thank you for taking an interest in boarding your pet with me at a Dog’s Dream Vacation provided by a dog lover. I love dogs and I am a borderline dog whisperer. When your pet stays with me, they are getting a vacation of their own. When you travel or go on vacation, they get to have a getaway of their own. If using the Rover App, scroll through the top picture to see the photo gallery of dogs having fun and enjoying their vacation. If on the desktop website, click on full gallery photos. Rover is definitely better than boarding your pet at a dog hotel, especially if they are anxious pets. It is like Air BnB for your pet. : ) I live on a small peaceful lake with a big, fenced backyard. There is usually a nice breeze. I have a big open space home and a large backyard, plus a pool. Pets can go in the pool. I know golden retrievers and Labradors can’t resist, so please let me know if your dog may attempt to go in and if you prefer that they don’t. The lake is closed off, not connected to other lakes or canals (very safe) but still I do not allow pets in the lake as there is bacteria. We have a very old cat, he is 15 years old and most dogs get along with him, even if they have never been around a cat. I sadly hate to update my profile, and it took me a few months to do so because of grief. We had a cute, playful, friendly Labrador. His name was Chance and he died of a hemangiosarcoma tumor on his liver and spleen. Apparently, labs and retrievers can get this. Unfortunately, nobody knows exactly what causes hemangiosarcoma in dogs. It is one of the most studied canine cancers, but there is no single proven cause. Researchers believe it results from a combination of: genetics, age, or random DNA mutations. The last few pictures were of me and Chance having fun. Our prices are in line with the market rate (and cheaper than a dog hotel) but in my home, your dog is getting a vacation, eventually a playmate once we get another dog. I prefer dogs that are potty trained. I also prefer friendly breeds. Please bring your dog’s bed, food and 2 poop bags per day. Also bring their crate if crate trained (this is in case only if I have more than 2 dogs during busy holiday season AND only if they are used to their home crate). It also helps some dogs feel at home and have their own scent. Be sure they are bathed and clean as they tend to lay on our rugs. I prefer they do not go on furniture but it’s ok if they do (Chance used to lay on the couch all the time). I am available weekends and/or holidays. I can also provide dog walks in Brickell during the weekday. On some occasions I can do a dog visit but it depends on day and location. Please let me know if you need more information or have any questions. I work full time but work from home 2 days out of the week. I keep dogs on a feeding schedule along with back yard play time and potty time. They basically do the same routine and schedule as Chance. I have a fenced in yard and one dog to keep your fur baby happy and in good company. I can crate your dog if needed or if you prefer. Please bring their crate if crate trained and sleep or are used to going in and out of their "home'. Sometimes it helps them having their scent.
About: I have been boarding dogs in my home since 2007 and have many very happy customers. I have two small dogs of my own. The dogs have access to my fenced back garden at all times. I am retired and spend my time training and competing in agility. My dogs have free access to the living areas of my home and are able to run in and out of the back yard. They are walked at least twice a day. About this sitter: Passionate about dogs. I have completed a pet first aid course with PetTech. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover all my life. I have had a dog of my own since adopting a rescue in 1980. I now have 2 rescues and enjoy training them in obedience and agility. Meet my pets: I have two small dogs which I train and compete with in agility. About my yard: The backyard is fenced in with a 6 foot wooden fence. It has paths around the vegetation for the dogs to run. There is access to the outside from my back door at all times. I also have a small pond which is fenced and contains several fish. I am retired and home most of the time so I am able to supervise and care for your pet, take him/her for walks and have playtime. I have a fenced back yard which is available for potty breaks. I work outside in the yard most mornings and the dogs like to keep me company while I'm there. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and can sleep anywhere they choose.` I am retired and can take care of your pet at my home 24/7. I have a lot of experience looking after many types of dogs. Your pet has access to the entire house, including the furniture, and back garden. They are fed separately from my dogs. They are also brushed if necessary. I can also trim nails if the dog will allow me to do this.

“Jennifer is amazing! She’s super kind to Pretzel, very professional, punctual, friendly and communicative. Pretzel starts off a little shy and she was patient with him. She goes above and beyond for your fur baby.”

About: Have you ever met a girl who had every dog breed, behavior, and product memorized by heart? Well, now you have! Hi! My name is Ariana and at 8 years old, I was that girl! I have been seeking dog walking jobs since I was 5 but my dog obsession started as soon as I laid eyes on the perfect maltese puppy my uncle had. From taking care of my uncle’s dog to begging my neighbor to let me walk their huskies with my babysitter and giving up TV for a year to earn my own dog, a day has not passed where I didn’t reminisce on my love for dogs and all animals. Since I could ride my bike I would trek all across my small town to walk and care for animals all of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. Typically, I would care for dogs, but have cared for cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens and more! Being and working on multiple farms from age 6 has taught be to remain calm and keep my head when things don’t go as planned and to get right back up when you fall down and try again. Furthermore, I trained my own Cavapoo, Kiki, into an extremely attentive and smart dog - she goes everywhere off leash and even closes our door on command! I am currently in college and I’m going off of my class schedules alongside the amount of work that I get. I do not have many classes in a single day so working around my schedule should not be extremely difficult. Overall, I am extremely respectful and neat and only access the parts of your house in which I need to go. For dog walking and animal care, I leave every dog, making sure that they have a full bowl of water and that they are in the area designated for them. I make sure to lock and close every door requested and leave everything exactly where I found it. If there is any mess around the bowls or litter boxes I make sure to clean it up and refill everything as needed and/or requested. if there have been any accidents around the house, I make sure to notify every owner and clean up and disinfect the area. If the owners have requested that I give the pet treats or any extra medication I do as requested and make sure to follow up with a check in.
“Natalia is incredible!! I hired her very last minute for drop in visits and walks for my bernedoodle Bear, when my plans changed on extremely short notice. She was flexible, reliable and friendly, and even more importantly, she really took the time to connect with Bear. This was my first time leaving Bear since adopting him, and since I work from home, he is not used to spending time alone. After one drop in visit, he began howling after Natalia left; she heard him, went back inside to calm him down, left her sweatshirt for him to cuddle with, and stayed until he settled. I felt so reassured knowing that someone so caring was looking after him. We will absolutely hire Natalia again going forward.”

“I was so stressed leaving town over the weekend and looking for last minute care. Elizabeth totally dissipated all of that the second I got a message back. She is quick to respond, very polite, friendly and kind. She came over quick despite the last minute travel plans, even squeezing in a same day meet n greet. I feel so lucky that I met her. She just went above and beyond in every single way and will be the only person I use for pet care from now on. Thank you so much!”

About: Hi there! I am a student at the University of Miami studying health sciences and health administration. I have been a technician at an animal hospital for five years. I have also been volunteering with animals for over eight years. I can administer medication’s, and make sure that the pet is safe and comfortable whenever they are with me. Working in the hospital, has provided me with experience with both young and senior pets as well as pets with all temperaments. Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies soon! Pet care is extremely important to me. As a pet owner and animal lover myself I make sure that they are taken care of first that is how I start my days. I like to check on them throughout the day, making sure then have everything they need to be comfortable and have time to go outside. I adjust my schedule to your needs so whenever you need me to do a drop in or a walk, please let me know and any accommodations during pet sitting and I will use my knowledge to best assist. Also, I do have a car so I don’t mind driving them where needed if requested. Since I have been employed at the animal hospital, I have been entrusted with responsibilities of making sure that my patients are always happy, healthy, and comfortable. I have the knowledge to acknowledge signs of any uncomfort for many different breeds of animals. I think my biggest job is making sure that I can read the pet to the best of my abilities so I can best fit their needs, ensuring that they are always comfortable and happy. I am in constant communication with the owners at all time making sure that if I notice anything they know right away, I always wanna make sure there’s full transparency between me and my clients. My number one priority is making sure that you know what is going on with your pet and making sure they are as happy, healthy and comfortable as they can be

While we were away in Europe for ten days, Alejandra cared for Poppy, our little puppy who needs extra attention and training, and she was amazing. She followed every instruction carefully, stayed in touch with frequent check-ins pictures and videos, and was always available when we needed her. She was proactive, too, letting us know when food or treats were running low. Having Alejandra looking after Poppy gave us total peace of mind, she was reliable, attentive, and genuinely sweet with poppy.

Sarymar was absolutely incredible with her sweet boy Captain. We have a mixed pit who is 12 years old and he is sometimes particular on who he likes. Sarymar made sure to update us with so many pictures during her stay and we couldn’t believe that Captain was already snuggled up with her after the first visit. Highly recommend!

Alyssa was terrific and I would absolutely have her watch our dog again. Our dog is very smart and sensitive and takes time to get to know people. Therefore, I was very concerned about having someone do drop ins while I was away, because our dog is not used to that. Alyssa was very attentive and instinctively understood what our dog needed, and made the whole experience comfortable. She is polite, kind, and a pleasure to talk with. Thank you, Alyssa!!

Andrea was great with our little Bogey! Always checked in and gave me updates and even started helping keep up with his training (sit, paw, down, and ringing the bells to go potty outside). I appreciated Andrea’s help and will definitely use her again! Highly recommend and will definitely use again soon

Gabriela was everything I look for in a sitter and more! My dog can take some time to warm up to people but Gaby made it so easy for her to be comfortable! I appreciated the thorough visit summaries and photos that were sent, it put me at ease so I had no worried while being away!

We are so grateful for the amazing care Aryssa gave Chimmy while we were away for the week. We especially appreciated the attention she gave to her anxiety and how patient, loving, and attentive she was with her. The regular updates and photos meant so much to us and truly helped us relax and enjoy our vacation knowing Chimmy was in such caring hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely trust Aryssa with her again. Thank you for everything!

Melanie was so prompt in communicating and took several pictures during drop ins with our dog. We could tell our doggy was well cared for and beyond this is offered so generously to help with other things. Absolutely would book with Melanie again and recommend her highly.
