“Eric was able to help watch my pups of the holiday and they loved him. When he came over to meet them the first time they were so comfortable with him! Will for sure book again”

“I had a wonderful experience with Valerie as my cat sitter! She took care of my two cats for four days while I was away, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. Valerie came to my house every day to feed them, and she ensured they were well cared for and comfortable in their own space. I returned to two happy, relaxed cats and everything in perfect order. She was reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. I highly recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive cat sitter!”

“Pia was a wonderful pet sitter for our two cats, Luna and Miso! We have never had a pet sitter outside of our family and she was just terrific. Our Siamese was hiding and Pia patiently came an extra day (right before Christmas ) and coaxed him out with tuna fish- and then sent pics to reassure us that he was fine but just mad at us for leaving him during the holidays . She was also very attentive to our tuxedo cat who is quite friendly . We would definitely have Pia sit for us again !”

“So incredibly sweet and responsive! We are so grateful for her being able and willing to take care of our fur babies! Our little one is incredibly shy with new people and she was able to work with him so well. Super appreciative!”

“Trying out Xenabeth for the first time was a great decision. She’s very knowledgeable and caring and did just as we discussed during our meeting. Will definitely book her for a drop in visit for my pup again”

About: Whether it’s a neighborhood walk or playing with a squeaky toy, I love the energy of having a furry friend around. Our family dog is getting old and having more animals in my life is just what I need🦴 I work freelance so I make my own hours! Perfect for me to fit in some care, attention, and treats for your pet❤️ (and would be a great mid-day pick-me-up) In your own home, I would be watching them closely: making sure the surrounding area is neat and comfortable for them, setting alarms for walks & meals, and always keeping a toy or two around! (And endless cuddles, of course)
“Absolutely wonderful sitter. She took great care of our cat, kept us updated, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed kitty and a clean space. Would happily book again!”

About: Hello, thank you for taking an interest in boarding your pet with me at a Dog’s Dream Vacation provided by a dog lover. I love dogs and I am a borderline dog whisperer. When your pet stays with me, they are getting a vacation of their own. When you travel or go on vacation, they get to have a getaway of their own. If using the Rover App, scroll through the top picture to see the photo gallery of dogs having fun and enjoying their vacation. If on the desktop website, click on full gallery photos. Rover is definitely better than boarding your pet at a dog hotel, especially if they are anxious pets. It is like Air BnB for your pet. : ) I live on a small peaceful lake with a big, fenced backyard. There is usually a nice breeze. I have a big open space home and a large backyard, plus a pool. Pets can go in the pool. I know golden retrievers and Labradors can’t resist, so please let me know if your dog may attempt to go in and if you prefer that they don’t. The lake is closed off, not connected to other lakes or canals (very safe) but still I do not allow pets in the lake as there is bacteria. We have a very old cat, he is 15 years old and most dogs get along with him, even if they have never been around a cat. I sadly hate to update my profile, and it took me a few months to do so because of grief. We had a cute, playful, friendly Labrador. His name was Chance and he died of a hemangiosarcoma tumor on his liver and spleen. Apparently, labs and retrievers can get this. Unfortunately, nobody knows exactly what causes hemangiosarcoma in dogs. It is one of the most studied canine cancers, but there is no single proven cause. Researchers believe it results from a combination of: genetics, age, or random DNA mutations. The last few pictures were of me and Chance having fun. Our prices are in line with the market rate (and cheaper than a dog hotel) but in my home, your dog is getting a vacation, eventually a playmate once we get another dog. I prefer dogs that are potty trained. I also prefer friendly breeds. Please bring your dog’s bed, food and 2 poop bags per day. Also bring their crate if crate trained (this is in case only if I have more than 2 dogs during busy holiday season AND only if they are used to their home crate). It also helps some dogs feel at home and have their own scent. Be sure they are bathed and clean as they tend to lay on our rugs. I prefer they do not go on furniture but it’s ok if they do (Chance used to lay on the couch all the time). I am available weekends and/or holidays. I can also provide dog walks in Brickell during the weekday. On some occasions I can do a dog visit but it depends on day and location. Please let me know if you need more information or have any questions. I work full time but work from home 2 days out of the week. I keep dogs on a feeding schedule along with back yard play time and potty time. They basically do the same routine and schedule as Chance. I have a fenced in yard and one dog to keep your fur baby happy and in good company. I can crate your dog if needed or if you prefer. Please bring their crate if crate trained and sleep or are used to going in and out of their "home'. Sometimes it helps them having their scent.
“This is the second time Alejandra take care of my 3 cats and I am very happy with her service. She is very responsible and attentive with the cats. Communication with her is also fast and clear. I will definitely hire her again for this service when needed. Thank you Alejandra!”

I work full time however after 6pm I am available especially to house/pet sit, I’m studying for my mcat so all pets will keep me company! Breaks are important while studying , and all my attention will be one them by playing, walking them or anything special they require My youngest rescue puppy Bruno has been crate trained and his crate is his safe space. We have special fences in the house that safely lock every time and all our pets have AirTags on them to make sure they’re home safe plus we make sure all doors are properly secured anytime we leave the house.
About: Raising my very own senior lady, a mid-size terrier-mix, for the last decade and counting - experienced with dogs that have separation anxiety and need a little more comfort than the rest I’m currently working full-time but located locally in the gables, so I’ll have plenty of time in the late afternoons and evenings after 6pm for walks and pups! Weekends are usually open for the mornings and afternoons, as well. I can cater to your fur baby’s daily routine, maintaining their preferred feeling schedules and walks, keeping their day structured so they don’t ever feel off and can rest knowing all is well (even with mom and dad away)!
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pup, and I treat every dog like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of love. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just a cozy cuddle, I make sure they feel safe and happy. I’m also great with shy or anxious dogs, giving them the time and care they need to feel comfortable. Plus, I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. I work from home in IT sales, which gives me the flexibility to take breaks throughout the day for short or long walks, playtime, and care. Since I’m home all day, dogs are never left alone and always have company. On weekends, I love exploring new trails and nature spots with my own dog, so having other dogs join in would make it even better! Whether it’s a relaxing day at home or an adventure outdoors, I make sure every pup in my care feels happy, active, and loved. I live in an apartment, so I only take care of one additional dog at a time along with my own. This ensures plenty of space and constant companionship without an overwhelming environment. Since we don’t have kids, my full attention is on the dogs, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and engaged. We spend most of our time outside, going on as many walks as needed throughout the day to keep them happy and active. Your pup will always have company, exercise, and personalized care while staying with us

About: I have had numerous pets throughout my life and currently have 2 cats. I love animals and frankly have all the time in the world right now during summer to come help you with your pets. I am a full time student at FSU and am currently home for the summer. I can absolutely fit pet care into my daily routine as I am not enrolled in any summer classes. I can pass a background check if needed, (never committed a crime), and can do practically anything you need for your animals, feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, or just spending time with them.
“Yumeng is so great with my dogs, she goes above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. My dogs have alot of energy and make alot of mess, but she handles them very very well, would definitley reccomend her services! :)”

About: I have always been a dog owner and I have experience being a dog foster where I have helped many dogs with their previous trauma, such as anxiety and PTSD that was caused by being on the streets and even being mistreated by their previous owners. I offered them love, care and extra attention. I also have experience house training dogs and even getting them to do the simple “sit”, “stay” commands. Overall, I love animals and I am committed to give them the best care possible. I work remotely so I am available for boarding on weekdays and weekends from AM to PM. Please feel free to reach out to me. I currently live in an apartment with no pets of my own and no yard but I have a very flexible schedule where I can take the dog for hourly walks.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Coconut Grove
Alyssa was terrific and I would absolutely have her watch our dog again. Our dog is very smart and sensitive and takes time to get to know people. Therefore, I was very concerned about having someone do drop ins while I was away, because our dog is not used to that. Alyssa was very attentive and instinctively understood what our dog needed, and made the whole experience comfortable. She is polite, kind, and a pleasure to talk with. Thank you, Alyssa!!

Andrea was great with our little Bogey! Always checked in and gave me updates and even started helping keep up with his training (sit, paw, down, and ringing the bells to go potty outside). I appreciated Andrea’s help and will definitely use her again! Highly recommend and will definitely use again soon

Gabriela was everything I look for in a sitter and more! My dog can take some time to warm up to people but Gaby made it so easy for her to be comfortable! I appreciated the thorough visit summaries and photos that were sent, it put me at ease so I had no worried while being away!

We are so grateful for the amazing care Aryssa gave Chimmy while we were away for the week. We especially appreciated the attention she gave to her anxiety and how patient, loving, and attentive she was with her. The regular updates and photos meant so much to us and truly helped us relax and enjoy our vacation knowing Chimmy was in such caring hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely trust Aryssa with her again. Thank you for everything!

Melanie was so prompt in communicating and took several pictures during drop ins with our dog. We could tell our doggy was well cared for and beyond this is offered so generously to help with other things. Absolutely would book with Melanie again and recommend her highly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
