About: Raising my very own senior lady, a mid-size terrier-mix, for the last decade and counting - experienced with dogs that have separation anxiety and need a little more comfort than the rest I’m currently working full-time but located locally in the gables, so I’ll have plenty of time in the late afternoons and evenings after 6pm for walks and pups! Weekends are usually open for the mornings and afternoons, as well. I can cater to your fur baby’s daily routine, maintaining their preferred feeling schedules and walks, keeping their day structured so they don’t ever feel off and can rest knowing all is well (even with mom and dad away)!
About: I am a responsible animal-lover who has been taking care of pets my whole life. I have 2 adorable dogs myself and I have experience taking care of cats and senior dogs as well. I will make sure your pet gets lots of love and attention and is treated with respect. I’m a UM student who really loves animals. I would love to help take care of your pets. I can provide dog walking services, dog sitting services, and check-ins throughout the week. I am available full-time on weekends and mornings/evenings on weekdays. I am comfortable with handling your pets and will make sure to give them love and attention as well as respect their needs and make sure they are comfortable. I can crate your pet if needed and am comfortable walking dogs of any size. I have a hyper 2 year old golden retriever so I am experienced and comfortable caring for dogs of any energy level.
“We heavily rely on Sam’s support afforded to Athena, which has ranged from walks to/from dog care and house siting in our place. Sam is a pleasant detail oriented, exceptional communicator that our dog enjoys hanging out.”

“Valerie did a great job checking in on my two cats. Was very responsiveness in communication and provided updates each visit. She made my absence easier for both me and them.”

About: "I love animals—I really do! I have had dogs my entire adult life. I am very outgoing and friendly, and the messy parts of pet ownership (dirt, smells, etc.) don't bother me at all. I am also very patient and understanding; being a single mother to two teens since they were young has certainly prepared me for anything! I graduated from UW and spent over 20 years in corporate America, but now I am excited to find a new path working with animals. I am always available by phone or text, and I am happy to highly attentive 'helicopter' hoomans, I'm here to help! I'm currently wide open to care for your pup. I am in a career transition and what better way than to hang out with fluffy cute animals? I live in a very dog friendly building. I have a fence courtyard where Ollie (my dog) hands out and we also have a dog park right outside. I also have a crate in my apt that Ollie laughs when I tell him he needs to go in there.
“Sofia was a perfect sitter for my two cats Uma and Nya while we were away visiting family during Memorial Day weekend. She was prompt to show up for feedings, playtime and followed directions to the tee! Would not hesitate to ask her to care for them again! The time of her visit, and pictures gave us peace of mind during our time away!!”

“Mariya was great in drop-ins looking after my cat and was a pleasure to work with. All communication was quick and clear, she was flexible with working out the details and meeting up, and followed all instructions. She sent lots of great pics and my cat did great while she was looking in on him. Would definitely book again.”
About: I bring a calm, attentive, and compassionate approach to pet care, with hands-on experience fostering and caring for dogs of all temperaments—including rescues and anxious pups. I’m highly detail-oriented, reliable, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I prioritize safety, routine, exercise, and emotional comfort, whether that means long walks, structured play, or quiet companionship. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, my patience, and my ability to tune into each pet’s unique needs—giving owners peace of mind and pets a stress-free, loving experience. I work remotely full time (M-F, 8am–5pm), meaning I’m home most of the day and can give your pup plenty of attention and timely breaks. Before caring for your pup, I like to discuss their routine in detail—including medications, exercise needs, anxiety levels, and behavior with other dogs, animals, or people—to ensure the best experience for everyone.
“Amanda was amazing and took her time with our kitties, especially my shy boy that takes awhile to warm up to new people. She was able to get him comfortable with her and administer his twice daily insulin that he needs. She also was very attentive about checking litter boxes, water, and cleaning up any little messes. We will definitely book with her again. Thank you Amanda for taking such great care of our kitties!”

About: I have had numerous pets throughout my life and currently have 2 cats. I love animals and frankly have all the time in the world right now during summer to come help you with your pets. I am a full time student at FSU and am currently home for the summer. I can absolutely fit pet care into my daily routine as I am not enrolled in any summer classes. I can pass a background check if needed, (never committed a crime), and can do practically anything you need for your animals, feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, or just spending time with them.
“By far the best cat sitter I have ever had. She just understands and knows what’s it like to have a cat that makes a mess. Always a great feeling coming home to a clean apartment (litter and fur balls vacuumed). Definitely hiring her again! Thank you so much for taking care of Sofie, she loved you!”

“Morgan was fantastic! She was on time every single day and sent us pictures of Luna throughout each visit, which we really appreciated. She was so sweet and gentle with Luna, and it showed — Luna was completely comfortable and relaxed with her the whole time. We’d absolutely book Morgan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring cat sitter.”

About: Hi, I’m Ari! ☺️ I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. I grew up loving and caring for all types of animals. My family owns a veterinary clinic in Puerto Rico, where I spent multiple summers assisting the team with vaccinations, blood transfusions, administering IV’s and surgery prep. I’ve also worked at multiple dog grooming and animal care facilities in the South Florida area giving me hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I’ll treat your fur baby like my own, with lots of love, patience, attention, and care 🩷 I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your fur baby the attention and care they deserve! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 PM. I’m also happy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and other services around my schedule. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention! I have a fenced-in yard and a loving household where animals are truly considered family. My 15-year-old Yorkie was my best friend, and after giving her the happiest, most loving life I could, she passed away in March due to old age. She taught me so much about patience, companionship, and caring for an animal through every stage of life. I’ll treat your pet with that same love, patience, and attention while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home! I believe there’s something truly special about the unconditional love and loyalty animals give us.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pinecrest
Mariana took care of our Maltese while we were away and she was outstanding. She dropped in to visit 3 times a day and she was on time, amazing with Brady --taking him out for walks, taking him out back and gave him so much love--and sent lots of pictures and videos. She follows instructions perfectly. We wish we can have her come visit Brady every day! Cant wait to see you again Brady sends you lots of hugs!!!!!!

Where do I start? To say Ameer is an excellent dog sitter is not enough. He is a bright and kind human who is also a professional animal lover. We went away knowing he had our backs and did everything we asked and more. There are not enough stars for him. ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
