“Lovely young woman who is very reliable and caring. Treated my cats like they were her own. Terrific communication about anything going on. My cats adjusted to her quickly. I would definitely use her services again. Thank you, Hanna”

About: I grew up in France surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, horses, and even chickens, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. Ever since I was little, I’ve naturally connected with animals and genuinely love being around them. Honestly, everywhere I go, you’ll probably see me petting the animals before even saying hi to the humans first. I’m 27 years old and currently have a 12 year old dog named Lilo and a 4 year old cat named Phoenix, so I understand both senior pet care and the attention pets need to feel safe and loved. I also horseback ride weekly, which means animals are truly part of my everyday life. As a nursing student, I’m responsible, patient, dependable, and attentive to details. I will always care for your pets with kindness, affection, and the same level of attention I would want for my own animals. I’m currently in nursing school, so my schedule can vary slightly throughout the week, but I always make time for animals. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I already care for my own pets daily and spend a lot of time around animals. I’m available for walks, drop in visits, and pet sitting, and I’m very reliable with communication, feeding schedules, medications, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I understand how important trust is when leaving your animals with someone else, and I will care for them as if they were my own. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding instructions, medications, behavior changes, and making sure pets feel calm, safe, and loved.I’m naturally patient, responsible, detail oriented, and comfortable handling different personalities, including senior or anxious pets.
“Yumeng is so great with my dogs, she goes above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. My dogs have alot of energy and make alot of mess, but she handles them very very well, would definitley reccomend her services! :)”

“Ruth was great! When we came home, everything had been done for Skiity. She made a point of communicating on a daily basis and letting us know that our cat was OK. I really appreciate Ruth’s dedication and responsibility.”

“Natalia is incredible!! I hired her very last minute for drop in visits and walks for my bernedoodle Bear, when my plans changed on extremely short notice. She was flexible, reliable and friendly, and even more importantly, she really took the time to connect with Bear. This was my first time leaving Bear since adopting him, and since I work from home, he is not used to spending time alone. After one drop in visit, he began howling after Natalia left; she heard him, went back inside to calm him down, left her sweatshirt for him to cuddle with, and stayed until he settled. I felt so reassured knowing that someone so caring was looking after him. We will absolutely hire Natalia again going forward.”

“Jennifer did a great job taking care of my dogs. She is super sweet and can tell she’s an animal lover. She was punctual and gave my dogs love and attention. Will be using her again!”

I have experience caring for both energetic pets and senior animals, including those that need extra patience or special attention. I also prioritize clear communication, providing regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I will be out of town for the summer May 15th, returning in July I have experience with a verity of pets and living situations. I’ve cared for dogs with a fenced in yard along with yards without. I am very flexible

Kim and Seth went above and beyond when taking care of my Cat Ramesses. Ram is very shy with new people, but he immediately opened up with them. They were extremely communicative and sent lots of photos of my baby. The place was very clean when I returned and Ram was in good spirits. I will definitely use them in the future. They exceeded all of my expectations.

Ada did an amazing job taking care of our cat Link! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous, but she offered to meet us beforehand for a meet and greet with Link and we could immediately tell she was very dependable and caring. She was super responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates at each visit which made us feel at ease while we were away. She even noticed that his food was running low and let us know so we could have more ordered, and she came back the next day (even though it was not officially on the scheduled request) to make sure his food bowl got filled in time. Truly a life saver and definitely recommend!

Maria is truly a blessing. Leaving your cat behind is never easy, but with her, you feel complete peace of mind. She is incredibly trustworthy and responsible. She didn’t just “check in” - she cared for our cat with so much attention and kept us updated, made sure everything was clean and comfortable, and treated our baby like her own. When we came home, our cat was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for which says everything. We are so grateful to have found someone so reliable and kind. I would trust Maria again in a heartbeat.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pinecrest. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
