“Sarymar was absolutely incredible with her sweet boy Captain. We have a mixed pit who is 12 years old and he is sometimes particular on who he likes. Sarymar made sure to update us with so many pictures during her stay and we couldn’t believe that Captain was already snuggled up with her after the first visit. Highly recommend!”

“Jennifer is amazing! She’s super kind to Pretzel, very professional, punctual, friendly and communicative. Pretzel starts off a little shy and she was patient with him. She goes above and beyond for your fur baby.”

About: I have had one dog in the past. Her name is Gigi and she is a golden doodle. She is an extremely active dog who keeps me active 24/7. She loves to cuddle and play and is so caring with people and other animals. The most unique characteristic about Gigi is that she has been obedient since the day we got her. Her training was so simple and easy to do. Training her was so easygoing that I learned enough to train my best friends dog Mia. I think having such a sweet puppy like Gigi made it even more fun to care and train for dogs. I trained Gigi and Mia to be able to remain calm in stressful/overstimulating moments, they are both well skilled in recognizing hand and verbal signals. Both are well behaved when hey are not wearing a leash and also very well in controlling impulsive behavior. I currently work full time so I am available in the afternoons. I am off by 5pm. I am available every weekend, all day. I do plan on having a more flexible schedule in the next 2 months. I personally do not have any pets at the moment. I have had 1 pet in the past and have been trusted by a few friends to care after their pets. I always ask the owner the basic information I need regarding their pets and do my best to ensure a fun and safe environment for all animals!
“Dora is a reliable and caring pet sitter. I have used her many times over the past couple years and never worry about my pets when they are under her care. She truly cares about my pets well being and is a wonderful pet sitter!”

“We heavily rely on Sam’s support afforded to Athena, which has ranged from walks to/from dog care and house siting in our place. Sam is a pleasant detail oriented, exceptional communicator that our dog enjoys hanging out.”

“Drew was amazing with Duke. Super patient and attentive. He was a life saver coming in to drop-in on Duke. He fed him, walked him, played with him. Would have him care for Duke again!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life, helping friends and neighbors with theirs. I know how important it is for a dog to break up their daily routine, stay active, and be well taken care of when their owners are busy. I am fully committed to giving your pet the attention, exercise, and personalized care they deserve, with total reliability I have a very flexible daily routine that allows me to fully adapt to whatever schedule works best for your pet. I have plenty of time to organize dedicated outings or check on them at home exactly when needed, ensuring they never break their usual routine. Safety is my number one priority. When caring for a pet, I make sure to maintain constant supervision and double-check that everything is properly locked and secure when leaving their home. I follow the owner's instructions to the letter to guarantee the dog stays calm, comfortable, and safe at all times.
“Julieta is wonderful and super communicative. She took care of my older dog just as if she was her own. I look forward to a long relationship together as I plan to continue booking! I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Absolutely wonderful sitter. She took great care of our cat, kept us updated, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed kitty and a clean space. Would happily book again!”

“Ada did an amazing job taking care of our cat Link! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous, but she offered to meet us beforehand for a meet and greet with Link and we could immediately tell she was very dependable and caring. She was super responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates at each visit which made us feel at ease while we were away. She even noticed that his food was running low and let us know so we could have more ordered, and she came back the next day (even though it was not officially on the scheduled request) to make sure his food bowl got filled in time. Truly a life saver and definitely recommend!”

“Katherine did a wonderful job looking after my dog, Perla!! She followed all of the instructions and followed up with cute pictures and observations from her visits. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Sarah did an amazing job caring for our 3 senior outdoor cats (including one that is totally blind). She fed them twice daily for four days and shared photos and daily updates with us so we did not worry about them while we were away. She also collected our newspapers, mail, and packages for us. We will definitely call on her talents again in the future. We highly recommend!”

About: Hi there! I am a student at the University of Miami studying health sciences and health administration. I have been a technician at an animal hospital for five years. I have also been volunteering with animals for over eight years. I can administer medication’s, and make sure that the pet is safe and comfortable whenever they are with me. Working in the hospital, has provided me with experience with both young and senior pets as well as pets with all temperaments. Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies soon! Pet care is extremely important to me. As a pet owner and animal lover myself I make sure that they are taken care of first that is how I start my days. I like to check on them throughout the day, making sure then have everything they need to be comfortable and have time to go outside. I adjust my schedule to your needs so whenever you need me to do a drop in or a walk, please let me know and any accommodations during pet sitting and I will use my knowledge to best assist. Also, I do have a car so I don’t mind driving them where needed if requested. Since I have been employed at the animal hospital, I have been entrusted with responsibilities of making sure that my patients are always happy, healthy, and comfortable. I have the knowledge to acknowledge signs of any uncomfort for many different breeds of animals. I think my biggest job is making sure that I can read the pet to the best of my abilities so I can best fit their needs, ensuring that they are always comfortable and happy. I am in constant communication with the owners at all time making sure that if I notice anything they know right away, I always wanna make sure there’s full transparency between me and my clients. My number one priority is making sure that you know what is going on with your pet and making sure they are as happy, healthy and comfortable as they can be
“Jane did so good with my little 4 month old puppy! Was right on time, sent me plenty of photos and videos of my babe. He was nicely tired from his walk and she did great with him!! Will be booking Jane again for sure!!”

About: Have you ever met a girl who had every dog breed, behavior, and product memorized by heart? Well, now you have! Hi! My name is Ariana and at 8 years old, I was that girl! I have been seeking dog walking jobs since I was 5 but my dog obsession started as soon as I laid eyes on the perfect maltese puppy my uncle had. From taking care of my uncle’s dog to begging my neighbor to let me walk their huskies with my babysitter and giving up TV for a year to earn my own dog, a day has not passed where I didn’t reminisce on my love for dogs and all animals. Since I could ride my bike I would trek all across my small town to walk and care for animals all of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. Typically, I would care for dogs, but have cared for cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens and more! Being and working on multiple farms from age 6 has taught be to remain calm and keep my head when things don’t go as planned and to get right back up when you fall down and try again. Furthermore, I trained my own Cavapoo, Kiki, into an extremely attentive and smart dog - she goes everywhere off leash and even closes our door on command! I am currently in college and I’m going off of my class schedules alongside the amount of work that I get. I do not have many classes in a single day so working around my schedule should not be extremely difficult. Overall, I am extremely respectful and neat and only access the parts of your house in which I need to go. For dog walking and animal care, I leave every dog, making sure that they have a full bowl of water and that they are in the area designated for them. I make sure to lock and close every door requested and leave everything exactly where I found it. If there is any mess around the bowls or litter boxes I make sure to clean it up and refill everything as needed and/or requested. if there have been any accidents around the house, I make sure to notify every owner and clean up and disinfect the area. If the owners have requested that I give the pet treats or any extra medication I do as requested and make sure to follow up with a check in.
About: I have been boarding dogs in my home since 2007 and have many very happy customers. I have two small dogs of my own. The dogs have access to my fenced back garden at all times. I am retired and spend my time training and competing in agility. My dogs have free access to the living areas of my home and are able to run in and out of the back yard. They are walked at least twice a day. About this sitter: Passionate about dogs. I have completed a pet first aid course with PetTech. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover all my life. I have had a dog of my own since adopting a rescue in 1980. I now have 2 rescues and enjoy training them in obedience and agility. Meet my pets: I have two small dogs which I train and compete with in agility. About my yard: The backyard is fenced in with a 6 foot wooden fence. It has paths around the vegetation for the dogs to run. There is access to the outside from my back door at all times. I also have a small pond which is fenced and contains several fish. I am retired and home most of the time so I am able to supervise and care for your pet, take him/her for walks and have playtime. I have a fenced back yard which is available for potty breaks. I work outside in the yard most mornings and the dogs like to keep me company while I'm there. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and can sleep anywhere they choose.` I am retired and can take care of your pet at my home 24/7. I have a lot of experience looking after many types of dogs. Your pet has access to the entire house, including the furniture, and back garden. They are fed separately from my dogs. They are also brushed if necessary. I can also trim nails if the dog will allow me to do this.

“Shawn and his kids provided amazing care for our dog Rosie while we were out of town. We would definitely definitely trust them to take care of Rosie again. Great communication and you could tell they love animals.”

Katherine is an incredible caregiver. She treated Tamago as if she were her own. Her patience paid off, and after a few days, Tamago emerged from her shell and began to play and cuddle with her. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
