About: Hi, I’m Rosa! I’m a Miami based animal lover who has grown up around dogs. My experience started with my own mixed Maltese dogs and over the years I’ve learned to read and adapt to each dog’s personality…whether they need a calm presence or a playful companion, I adjust to their needs. My experience has also extended to overnight pet sitting care for dogs. One of my most memorable moments has been being present for the birth of puppies, something that gave me a whole new appreciation for animals are at every stage of life. I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits on weekday mornings before work, evenings after 5 pm, and throughout the weekend. When I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own space. I will follow your instructions well, keep things tidy, and make sure your pet feels secure in their own space.

About: Ever since I was little, I've owned and cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes. In recent years, I've done plenty of dog sitting and walking for neighbors, family, and friends. I love hanging out with dogs, and I think I make pretty good company. I'm familiar with what it's like to care for a dog with not the best behavior, either. I'm completely comfortable and excited to hang out with any dog. I'm still a student, but have a pretty flexible and open schedule. I'm free after school nearly every day of the week after 3:10 until whatever time I'm needed. On weekends, I have pretty clear schedules all day. I'll usually be free anytime ranging from about 8 AM - 7 PM. I've been around and taking care of dogs for years. I can help feed, walk, play, or any other things to help. I would love to do multiple daily stop-ins to hangout and play with your pup!

I also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: Hi! My name is Mayra, and I’m a professional pet groomer with experience dating back to 2015. Although I’m not currently working full time as a groomer, grooming is my passion and something I continue to do with love and care. I also groom cats from time to time and am currently expanding my skills as a cat stylist. In addition, I have two years of experience as a small animal caretaker, which included cleaning habitats and administering medication when needed. Being a pet stylist has taught me a great deal about animal behavior, allowing me to provide calm, patient, and attentive care. I previously had two fur babies of my own who are now in heaven, and they taught me the importance of trust, compassion, and treating every pet as if they were my own. About: Dear Pet Parents: Dogs have been in my life since I was a kid and I was caring for them since I was around 11 or 12 years old. After college I adopted a dog and we lived in NYC for 11 years together. I had a few friends with dogs in the city and I would take them out to the park for play dates. I am extremely cautious about ensuring the safety of any dog I am responsible for. I'm constantly on alert watching for cars, people or people with other dogs. For the last three years, I have been back in Miami serving as a key caregiver for my uncle's Dogo Argentino Luke. My uncle lost his leg in 2021 and is unable to walk his dog even with his prosthetic. We live close so I stop by and walk Luke around Biscayne Park for an hour about just about every day. Luke is a very big dog and I love watching him get excited to go out and start bouncing down the street. I am empathetic, caring and giving towards others and have been a full-time caregiver for several family members in the past. These qualities and experience translate to my pet care as I'm extremely attentive, proactively engaging, gentle and loving. Plus pets are just an endless source of amazement and companionship. I used to pet sit for two different friends in Connecticut over the years when I lived in New York. I have done some recent pet/house sitting jobs in Miami through networking with friends and family. I greatly enjoy it and now am focused on extending my services to more pet owners through Rover. I work remotely managing digital content updates for a self-publisher and run an online apparel brand. I am not regulated to any set working hours and do almost all my work at night. Establishing my pet sitting business is my first priority now and I can definitely do that given I don't have a typical 9 to 5 job. I am literally available 24/7/365. I am extremely focused on keeping pets engaged throughout the day. Of course, I love to talk to pets and sit with them on the couch and give them a lot of pets on their belly and words of praise. I refresh water bowls a few times a day and monitor if I think they are staying hydrated. I keep their food bowls clean and keep their food fresh. Maintaining a dog's sense of safety and comfortability in their home is key and I do that by establishing early trust with them. I will get down on the floor and sit with the dog and get to know them. I'll let them jump on me and lick me over and over if that's what it takes to make friends! I will always be with your dog if I am pet sitting. We'll be enjoying long walks or hanging out in their environment at home or maybe in the sun on the patio. And I don't mind pets sleeping next to me f that helps them feel secure.

Your pup will be allowed to roam free during the day unless instructed to be crated. I do not have a yard, however my two story apartment does allow for ample space for your pup to find a comfortable spot to play or relax. About: I have had my own dogs for many years, basically have grown up w them. My parents were not always the most active people so it was up to me to take care of them and go on walks I am currently a law student with combined in person and online classes. I’m home alot of the time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup. I am also an active person which is great for long walks and playing. I live in an apartment complex but we have access to many fields and parks and my apartment is pet friendly. I have to be on campus twice a week only for a couple hours at a time. Most of our days are spent from home and it’s rare for me to be out of the house for long periods of time. I love to spend time with your dog cuddled up on the couch or enjoying a nice sunset stroll. I live in a quiet apartment building on the 2nd floor. My apartment complex also has a designated area for pets with lots of grass and room for your dog to sniff and play.
