About: Neighbors and friends have relied on me to take care of dogs for years now since I was in my teens. I’m able to commit full time to the pets, as I am free everyday, meaning I have plenty of time for walk-ins, visits, play time, and walks for your pets! I also have a friendly dog to keep your dog company. I can commit all of my time to being with your pet. I am in between jobs right now, in graduate school, and so do not have other commitments. I have plenty of time to take care of your pet. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision, while following your pet’s routine and any special care instructions. My goal is to make their time away from you as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

Heather was the BEST! She made our trip so enjoyable at Fort Wilderness. We went to the parks for 3 days and Heather walked our dogs twice a day on all 3 days. We came back to our dogs each day and knew they had been taken care of. Loved having Heather’s service on our Disney trip.

About: I've loved animals my whole life, and spending time with them is my favorite thing to do. While I haven't had my own pet yet, I grew up in a family that did a lot of dog sitting, so I've spent years caring for dogs of all kinds. I loved getting to know each of their personalities and figuring out what made each one comfortable and happy, since every animal connects with people a little differently! I'm a recent college graduate with plenty of time and energy to give your pet the love they deserve! I love walking, so high-energy dogs are a great fit for me, but I'm just as comfortable with low-energy dogs and especially cats. I'm a big cat lover and plan on getting my own soon, so dogs and cats are equally my thing. Most of all, I love giving animals love and affection and making sure they're as happy as they can be, even when their owner is away. When I'm with animals, I'm at my happiest, and that means your pet will get a sitter who's so excited to spend time with them and keep them safe! I'm a graduate student just wrapping up my master's, so I'm extremely flexible and have plenty of free time throughout the day and week. Pet care easily fits into my routine, and I can adapt to whatever schedule and check-in times work best for your pet. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine, my top priorities are always safety, comfort, and trust. In your home, I respect your space and stick to your pet's normal routine, feeding, walks, play, and rest, so they feel secure with as little disruption as possible. I'll keep their environment clean and follow any instructions you leave, and I'm always happy to share updates along with many videos and photos so you have peace of mind while you're away! When a pet stays with me, I make sure my space is safe, calm, and welcoming. I keep a close eye on them at all times, maintain a consistent routine, and give them plenty of attention, play, and affection so they feel at home. I'm careful about secure doors and windows, I keep food and anything unsafe out of reach, and I make sure every pet has a comfortable spot to rest. No matter the setting, I treat every pet like my own, staying attentive, loving, patient, and responsive to what they need so they feel safe and loved the entire time their owner is away.

About: Hello my name is Pedro, I'm a spiritualist, dog's best friend, animal guardian, gardener. I learned about rover and how it's a great tool to continue growing my passion. Dogs are no doubt, the best example of unconditional love, which is something I believe many humans posses and are afraid to embrace. It's power that when tapped into can inspire the human population to become more and more fruitful, and dogs are one of the best examples on earth. Every dog I've met, remembers me the next time around. I've been around animals ever since I was a kid. Through the years I've encountered many experiences and observations to add to my skill. I know people are busy so I'm willing to help do your dog duties for you. I take care of my family dogs and believe all other dogs are family. Pet care is part of my lifestyle it is not something that takes me out of my natural rhythm. It comes naturally and flows smoothly. I keep a close eye on all our dogs including the natural interactions they have with other dogs and I make sure interactions are balanced and Noone gets hurt.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them and this is the first time since I was 2 that I haven’t had a dog in my home, so I truly miss being around them. I’ve helped raise 5 puppies, so I’m comfortable with everything from training basics to high-energy stages. I love dogs of all sizes and personalities. I enjoy going on walks and staying active, but I’m also in medical school, so I’m just as happy spending time studying while keeping your dog company if they prefer a calm environment. I’m very attentive, reliable, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m on campus during the daytime Tuesday through Thursday, but aside from that I have a very open schedule. I’m usually studying, which gives me flexibility throughout the day and evening. I’m available for mornings, nights, weekends, and overnights, and can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I do not have any pets and am not allowed to have them in my apartment, so I provide care in my client’s home. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure your pet stays in their normal routine. I am respectful of your space, keep things clean, and make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was little, and have taken care of many friends’ dogs! I would love to do it more often! I work usually at nights/weekends, but during the day I am very willing to help out in dog-walking services. I’m really fun-loving and caring as much as they are! I’m a singer and usually perform mostly on weekends, but sometimes Wednesday or Thursday nights as well. Summer has been a little slow for me so I am more flexible! I am available during the days usually Monday thru Friday! I live in Brickell. It’s an easy walk for me to pick up pups for their daily walk It’s easy to get outside to take them for a walk!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am a true animal lover. I grew up with both a large dog and a medium-sized dog, giving me experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve helped with training, daily care, exercise, feeding, and all the attention that happy, healthy pets need. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, love, and care they require. I currently work full-time at a local restaurant, but I have a flexible schedule and live an active lifestyle. I love getting outside for walks and exercise, making it easy for me to keep pets active, engaged, and well cared for. I live in a pet-friendly area of Coconut Grove with plenty of green space, walking paths, and parks nearby, making it a great environment for dogs who enjoy spending time outdoors. With my experience and a deep passion for animals, you can trust that your furry companions will receive the utmost care, attention, and affection under my watchful eye.

About: I am an animal lover so I have had pets all my life. I've had 3 dogs and 8 cats in my life time, currently have 3 cats. I have taken care of dogs and cats for family, friends, and family friends for vacations or whenever they weren't going to be around for a while. I understand the anxiety of leaving your pet with a stranger, but rest assured; I just want to make friends with your furbaby and make your life easier. I have thorough knowledge of what dogs or cats need individually and how peculiar they can be. I can bathe, feed, walk, and give them medicine, if necessary. I know some basic CPR, just in case. I make it a priority follow to all the instructions that you leave me and to respect your house. Hopefully we can be acquainted! I am currently in school so I have a decent amount of free time to come pet sit or take care of tasks that you do daily for your furbaby. My pets are like my babies so they get all the love, care, and fun they need and more. If I am coming to your home, you can rest assured that I will respect your home and leave it better or the same as I found it. I like to make sure to keep them to their same routine in your home so they have an easier time adjusting you being away! Your babies and your home will be in good hands!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
