“Elisha did a fantastic job. We were traveling in our camper. She had to make complex arrangements, coordinating with the RV park office to pick up and drop off the key. She handled it all without any complaints like a true professional. If you are ever traveling in the Ft. Lauderdale area (or live there) and need a reliable dog walker, please book Elisha.”

“My dog loved her! They went to the park, he got back two hours ago and has no interest in going out. The entire goal was to wear him out due to too much crate time, mission accomplished!”

“Could always count on and trust Angelique to walk my dog while I was at work! I received updates with photos and she was always accommodating to my schedule. I would definitely recommend.”

About: Hablo español! Falo português brasileiro! Parlo italiano! I’ve had dogs my whole life beginning when I was 7 and am an avid lover of animals. I’ve cared for elderly dogs (14 yrs +), 2 month old puppies and just about everything in between. I have a soft spot for Jack Russells (two in the family) and Dachshunds (a wire-haired dixie in the family as well). I was always in charge of vet visits, making sure medical records were in order, and of course walking, bathing etc. I truly am a dog-lover, I bake each of my family’s dogs a cake (dog safe of course) on their birthdays and special occasions! I am studying for a big entrance exam, but during the week I have flexibility depending on the day and occasionally on weekends. Feel free to reach out! I am a KB native and love being part of this community. I do not currently have any dogs since my two beloved Jack Russells recently passed, but I am a dog lover and truly enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds! I am also very detail oriented and organized, and am extremely diligent with maintaining a clean space and environment both in my own home and especially in a client’s home, which especially includes making sure paws have been thoroughly cleaned upon returning home!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them and this is the first time since I was 2 that I haven’t had a dog in my home, so I truly miss being around them. I’ve helped raise 5 puppies, so I’m comfortable with everything from training basics to high-energy stages. I love dogs of all sizes and personalities. I enjoy going on walks and staying active, but I’m also in medical school, so I’m just as happy spending time studying while keeping your dog company if they prefer a calm environment. I’m very attentive, reliable, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m on campus during the daytime Tuesday through Thursday, but aside from that I have a very open schedule. I’m usually studying, which gives me flexibility throughout the day and evening. I’m available for mornings, nights, weekends, and overnights, and can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I do not have any pets and am not allowed to have them in my apartment, so I provide care in my client’s home. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure your pet stays in their normal routine. I am respectful of your space, keep things clean, and make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I am an animal lover so I have had pets all my life. I've had 3 dogs and 8 cats in my life time, currently have 3 cats. I have taken care of dogs and cats for family, friends, and family friends for vacations or whenever they weren't going to be around for a while. I understand the anxiety of leaving your pet with a stranger, but rest assured; I just want to make friends with your furbaby and make your life easier. I have thorough knowledge of what dogs or cats need individually and how peculiar they can be. I can bathe, feed, walk, and give them medicine, if necessary. I know some basic CPR, just in case. I make it a priority follow to all the instructions that you leave me and to respect your house. Hopefully we can be acquainted! I am currently in school so I have a decent amount of free time to come pet sit or take care of tasks that you do daily for your furbaby. My pets are like my babies so they get all the love, care, and fun they need and more. If I am coming to your home, you can rest assured that I will respect your home and leave it better or the same as I found it. I like to make sure to keep them to their same routine in your home so they have an easier time adjusting you being away! Your babies and your home will be in good hands!
About: Hello my name is Pedro, I'm a spiritualist, dog's best friend, animal guardian, gardener. I learned about rover and how it's a great tool to continue growing my passion. Dogs are no doubt, the best example of unconditional love, which is something I believe many humans posses and are afraid to embrace. It's power that when tapped into can inspire the human population to become more and more fruitful, and dogs are one of the best examples on earth. Every dog I've met, remembers me the next time around. I've been around animals ever since I was a kid. Through the years I've encountered many experiences and observations to add to my skill. I know people are busy so I'm willing to help do your dog duties for you. I take care of my family dogs and believe all other dogs are family. Pet care is part of my lifestyle it is not something that takes me out of my natural rhythm. It comes naturally and flows smoothly. I keep a close eye on all our dogs including the natural interactions they have with other dogs and I make sure interactions are balanced and Noone gets hurt.
“Ahliah went above and beyond with Zoe. She was patient and let Zoe get comfortable before walking her out. We can’t be more grateful for her time and effort. We’ll definitely book her in the future and recommend her to others. Thank you!!”

I will be sure to give them love and care, doing my best to make them feel comfortable and happy. I will make sure they get enough play time, walks, and potty breaks.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was little, and have taken care of many friends’ dogs! I would love to do it more often! I work usually at nights/weekends, but during the day I am very willing to help out in dog-walking services. I’m really fun-loving and caring as much as they are! I’m a singer and usually perform mostly on weekends, but sometimes Wednesday or Thursday nights as well. Summer has been a little slow for me so I am more flexible! I am available during the days usually Monday thru Friday! I live in Brickell. It’s an easy walk for me to pick up pups for their daily walk It’s easy to get outside to take them for a walk!

“Thank you so much, Heather! This was a great experience. Heather looked after Stark for us while we spent time at the Disney parks. I was so nervous about bringing our dog along in that we had trouble booking him at the local kennel, and he doesn't do well at kennels anyway. Having Heather come to our campsite at Fort Wilderness and look after him three times a day was a BLESSING and the perfect solution. After meeting her, I didn't worry a bit about leaving him in her care. She sent pics and videos of him having a blast and he was so tired at the end of the day. This was a wonderful experience and if/when we make our way back to Disney, we'll for sure do it again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
