About: Hi, I’m Mari! Animals have been part of my family my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve had three Dalmatians, a Dachshund–Chihuahua mix, and a Pomeranian, so I know how different every dog’s personality can be! I’m currently a proud dog mom to Eve, my sweet Dalmatian. 🤎 I have volunteer experience with the Humane Society of Greater Miami and have rescued both cats and dogs. I’ve also boarded dogs in my home and provided house sitting in their own homes. These experiences have taught me to be patient, pay attention to each pet’s needs, and give them time to feel comfortable with me. Now, I’m building my own pet sitting business, Mari and Eve Pet Care, around something I truly love. What I’d love to know about your pet: Tell me a little about your baby! What do they love, what makes them nervous, and what helps them feel comfortable? Please share their feeding and potty schedule, sleeping habits, allergies, medical needs, and any behaviors I should know about. For care in my home, I’d also like to know how they feel around other dogs, since I have Eve. Let me know if this is their first time staying with a sitter so we can talk through what would help them settle in. For boarding, please bring their usual food and any familiar items, like a favorite toy, bed, or blanket. I’d love to arrange a meet and greet so we can get to know each other before their stay! 💕 Open availability Mon-Sun. I will walk, feed, play and bathe your pet as needed. And love them and take care of them like I do with my dog, Eve. ☺️ I will make sure with the owners to meet their pets’ dietary needs and buy them the necessary food to meet those needs. If they are a dog, I will walk them according to their walking needs. I will also have new toys for them to play with. If they are a cat, I will have carpet pieces for them to climb and toys as well. If the pet needs a bath or to be taken to a vet/training/playdate appointment I can do that as well. ☺️

About: Hi! I grew up with two Golden Retrievers and then a Yellow Lab, so being around dogs has always been a big part of my life! I’ve also spent time watching friends’ and family members’ pets, and I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. She was also very thoughtful about ensuring the dogs met in a way that was the least stressful for them (and me!). She arrived early to spend time with Merlin and chat with me, which was much appreciated. I felt completely comfortable with her taking care of Merlin and being in my home. She was very kind and clearly very attentive to Merlin, even playing bird songs to relax and distract him. He has separation anxiety and normally howls, barks, and paces when I leave. He had no trouble with Kelsey though and seemed very relaxed when I got home. It was amazing! I would absolutely recommend her.”

About: My family always had at least one dog and cat growing up, usually many of both. Now I have a dog of my own that I continue to train, take on daily walks and take care of. He also has allergies so I have a lot of experience with that as well. I have experience taking both large and small dogs on walks, training them, feeding and playing with them. I also have experience with cat care as well and even took classes on both mammalian anatomy and animal behavior. I currently work until 6:30 M-Th, so I will have limited availability on those days. I have completely open weekends, however, and would be available for all types of visits or care then! I can’t board or bring any pets to my home so every visit would depend on how you care for your pet, I’ll follow your lead! If you want, I can bring my dog over for a playdate (he’s super friendly and loves other animals), but that’s completely up to you!

About: I’ve had family dogs since I was little. I am currently the mom of one 13 y/o chihuahua named Rocky and an 8y/o terrier mix named Nike.
