“Olga was great with Charlie. She sent a video when he had a breathing episode (common with his breed) to make sure he was OK and quickly informed us all was well once he caught his breath. She communicated very quickly and throughout the day with updates and photos. Would highly recommend!”

“If I’m ever back in Miami, I would 100% book Corina again!! She was so good to my baby boy and she sent me constant updates so I was never worried for a second! You would be doing yourself a dishonor by not allowing her to watch your baby for you!”

“Astrid and Cody (her pup) have been absolutely amazing with Murphy. It truly makes me feel so much better knowing that Murphy is in the company of a playful pup like Cody instead of being home alone while I’m away at work. On top of that, Astrid is so compassionate and caring, sending me constant updates. Working with her has been a godsend, especially with how easy it is to communicate with her. Highly recommend her to anyone that wants to leave their pup with someone that is trustworthy.”

“Dayne has been wonderful with our anxious rescue pups. She has been patient as they get to know her. She sends us pictures and updates throughout the day which makes us feel better about leaving them.”

“Felicity (her friends call her Flick) is absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of Milo, making sure he felt comfortable and safe the whole time I was away. She kept me updated with thoughtful messages, photos, and sweet details about his day, so I always knew how he was doing. She even managed his complex medication schedule seamlessly—never missing a dose and finding little tricks to make it easier for him. When a thunderstorm rolled in, she noticed he felt safer in the bathroom, set up his bed there, and stayed with him until he settled down. Milo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly loved. Flick is trustworthy, caring, and so attentive—I’d recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family.”

“Barbora was incredible!! She was super quick to respond and sent the absolute cutest photos of our pup, which we really appreciated. It was clear our dog got plenty of exercise and attention; she came home completely pooped in the best way! Thank you so much, Barbora, we’d absolutely trust you with our pup again!!”

“Teo was a great sitter for Tutti! She was available last minute on both days and was very professional and responsive. Kept us updated and took great care of Tutti. Will definitely be hiring her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and started a dog-walking business back in middle school, so caring for pets has always been part of my life. I lived with a roommate who had a dog throughout college, and after meeting my now-fiancé, I fell in love with cats too. We have two sweet kitties, Gigi and Gates, who we adore. I’m currently a grad student at the University of Miami and bartend part-time, so I have flexible hours and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’m currently working part-time bartending so spend most days home with my two lovely cats, Gigi and Gates. I live an active lifestyle, and make sure they do too, as we spend plenty of time playing with together. They love toys, affections, and plenty of naps. Providing them, and your fur babies, with plenty of care and attention, is my main priority. I know how stressful it can be to be away from your fur babies, so I always try to be as communicative with clients as possible. I also know each animal has different needs and comfort levels when it comes to a new person providing pet care. I make sure that their needs are taken care of depending on what the client outlined - food, walks, attention, companionship - and will always be happy to play with an animal or provide company for longer if they are comfortable and asking for my attention.
About: I will take care of your pet as if they were my own! I love animals and it would be an honor to look after yours. I have done my research on how to look after pets and will be sure to adhere to any instructions or details you give me. I also have a car and live close to a dog park. Hablo español & je parle français! I just graduated law school and am currently studying for the bar exam, so my schedule is flexible. I am happy to accommodate same-day visits! I will be sure to give them love and care, doing my best to make them feel comfortable and happy. I will make sure they get enough play time, walks, and potty breaks.
About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up with them, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every pet like family. I have experience with dogs of all ages and can follow any special care instructions you provide. I’m also comfortable giving medications and making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I work from home full-time, so I’m always around to give pets attention and care throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or just keeping them company, I enjoy having pets around while I work. It’s a great part of my daily routine and something I truly love. I live in an apartment and work from home full-time, so I’m able to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. I only take one pet at a time to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, or just keeping them company. If I’m caring for pets in your home, I stick to their routine and make sure they’re happy while you’re away.
“Doggies had a great time with Caroline. Took well care of Uno and Dos while visiting Miami. Took them for walks and potty breaks. Super friendly and flexible with times. Will definitely use service again. Thank you again for taking good care of our doggies.”

“I love my dog around Natalie and the other dogs 🐕! The interaction is fantastic and Jaimie is learning and feel more secure with other dogs! Great service Natalie”
“Pamela and Adrian took great care of Lessy today! They updated me several times with pictures, and made sure she was happy. Lessy came home happy and well cared, Thank you 🙏”

“Jaanelle was a great dog sitter! She was able to accommodate us last minute and watch our puppy for the day. Penny came back happy and well cared for. I will definitely call Jaanelle again when we need a sitter!”

About: With 18 years of dog‑care experience, I’ve learned that every pup has their own personality, rhythm, and way of communicating. My Yorkie Jack is incredibly friendly and loves meeting new pups, which helps visiting dogs feel comfortable right away. I’m perfectly positioned near Brickell, Little Havana, and local favorites like José Martí and Bayfront Park. Coral Gables and Coconut Grove are just a quick drive away, making drop‑offs and last‑minute stays simple for dog parents all over Miami. Working from home lets me offer companionship, attentive supervision, and a comfortable environment. Daily walks and park visits add structure, exercise, and fun to your dog’s stay. I fully adapt to your preferences, whether your pup is crate‑trained or loves relaxing on the furniture. I always follow the routines that make them feel safe and at home. Your guidelines shape their stay so everything feels familiar and they remain at ease.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
