About: From close friends to family, I have been entrusted to take care of their cherished dogs and cats (even seniors) through these past several years. I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I currently work full-time, but am available on weekends to provide unwavering support and love to your furry pets! I can also provide late night walks, check-ins, etc if needed during the week once I’m off work :-) I live in one of the safest neighborhoods with ample space in the backyard and around my area to give them the most fun walks possible! I can also crate your pet as I have ample space in my apartment. It’s just me, so rest assured they will be given the best care and belly rubs possible.
“Elisha, I was so happy to find someone that could give me a piece of mind while vacationing. She did an awesome job. Communicated and took pictures of my furry kids eating, so I know they were being feed. I would definitely recommend her and will request her services again if needed.”
About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities, from energetic puppies to calm senior companions. My approach is patient, attentive, and full of love. I make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or relaxing. My goal is to make every animal feel at home while you’re away. For the time being, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent, quality care throughout the week. Mornings and evenings are ideal for walks and feeding routines, while daytime hours are open for drop-in visits, playtime, or companionship. I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and your schedule. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take time to learn each pet’s habits, preferences, and any special needs before starting care. In your home, I respect your space and routines to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. If caring in my home, pets enjoy a clean, secure environment with plenty of love, attention, and supervision. I treat every pet like my own.
About: I will take care of your pet as if they were my own! I love animals and it would be an honor to look after yours. I have done my research on how to look after pets and will be sure to adhere to any instructions or details you give me. I also have a car and live close to a dog park. Hablo español & je parle français! I just graduated law school and am currently studying for the bar exam, so my schedule is flexible. I am happy to accommodate same-day visits! I will be sure to give them love and care, doing my best to make them feel comfortable and happy. I will make sure they get enough play time, walks, and potty breaks.
“We heavily rely on Sam’s support afforded to Athena, which has ranged from walks to/from dog care and house siting in our place. Sam is a pleasant detail oriented, exceptional communicator that our dog enjoys hanging out.”

“So amazing! She gave me daily updates when watching my cat for several days. Responded so quickly as I was in a pinch before a trip. Carbon really warmed up to her which is a big deal given he is afraid of everything.”

“Stephanie was a great sitter for my two cats, including one who requires medication twice a day. She was reliable and I could tell my cats were very comfortable with her by the photos and how relaxed they were when I came home. I plan to request Stephanie again and highly recommend her!”

About: Hello! My name is Cristina :) I’m a life long pet lover who currently has a pet snake, while living with my mom and her 3 French Bulldogs. Growing up, I always had a pet, or three hehe. I’ve cared for over 15 cats in my lifetime and come from a long line of crazy cat ladies. Ive also had a fair share of dogs in my life. Growing up I had a quirky schnauzer and a very intelligent German Shepard. More recently, I cared for my soul dog, a very stubborn but extremely loving Rottweiler. I’m also very familiar with the temperament of Dachshunds because my father has cared for two. This experience has left me with loads of knowledge and experience on how to handle high-energy, reactive, and even elder dogs. All in all, I’ve become familiar in various types of dog breeds and I’ve found one thing to be certain. They all need love and play time. When you’re a bit too busy, or are going out of town for whatever reason I hope to be the eyes, ears, and scritches your little fur-ball needs when you’re away. Let’s discuss further how I can help you your little baby in my messages! :D Currently, I go to school, and do have a part time job. However, I do not take night shifts at my job unless absolutely necessary, so I am able to visit anytime before 8am after 5pm on most days. However this is subject to change. Please contact me for further information. Although I do not take home visits, I am very familiar with crate training and the importance of a leash. I will NEVER walk your pet without a leash, and know how slick some dogs and cats can be when entering and exiting a home. I also believe in the importance of keeping a structured and routine diet, so I will NEVER feed your pet anything you don’t supply, or deem safe. Please contact me so we can further discuss your pets needs, and what you do to keep them safe :)
“Met Tyler earlier in the week to go over everything. He was super attentive and Echo was super excited. The day of he came on time and followed directions. He did a great job! Stayed for a good amount of time too!”

“Heather was great! So thankful that she was able to be flexible with my travel changes last minute. My little guy was tuckered out the rest of the day after spending time with her. Hope to use her again soon.”

About: In my family we’ve had dogs since I was born, so i’ve never known what it’s like to not have a pet. I would walk, feed, and take care of my dog, Annie, so I’m well equipped to be able to take care of dogs. Annie has had a lot of health issues due to being a pure breed, so i’m used to dealing with having to give dogs medicine, both topical and oral. I’ve always loved dogs and after my Annie passed away recently from cancer I’ve been taking dogs from Doral Animal Shelter out to let them see the world and hopefully get them adopted. I want to continue caring for dogs and becoming a pet sitter is an amazing opportunity to do just that. Going to be out of school for the summer and will have flexibility for dog walks and dog/cat time. I live in the area and can accomadate schedule. I am open weekdays and weekends usually, but I will let you know my availability when asked. I can walk dogs around our safe neighborhood and take them anywhere around the Key. In my home, we have a doggie bed, food, and toys if needed. If in my clients home, I would like them to brief me on things like eating schedule/medicine if needed.
About: Always walking and never ever going to let your pet feel like they will give up. Above and beyond worker. Willing to always help. Focused I am available in the early mornings most days. Also, I am available some weekends depending on the weekend. I need to be notified before scheduling appointments. When I first meet a pet. I always make sure to let the pet get comfortable with me. I slowly get used to the pet.
About: Hello my name is Pedro, I'm a spiritualist, dog's best friend, animal guardian, gardener. I learned about rover and how it's a great tool to continue growing my passion. Dogs are no doubt, the best example of unconditional love, which is something I believe many humans posses and are afraid to embrace. It's power that when tapped into can inspire the human population to become more and more fruitful, and dogs are one of the best examples on earth. Every dog I've met, remembers me the next time around. I've been around animals ever since I was a kid. Through the years I've encountered many experiences and observations to add to my skill. I know people are busy so I'm willing to help do your dog duties for you. I take care of my family dogs and believe all other dogs are family. Pet care is part of my lifestyle it is not something that takes me out of my natural rhythm. It comes naturally and flows smoothly. I keep a close eye on all our dogs including the natural interactions they have with other dogs and I make sure interactions are balanced and Noone gets hurt.

I am studying for a big entrance exam, but during the week I have flexibility depending on the day and occasionally on weekends. Feel free to reach out! I am a KB native and love being part of this community. I do not currently have any dogs since my two beloved Jack Russells recently passed, but I am a dog lover and truly enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
