“Angelique was amazing! She was timely and communicative and clearly put effort into caring for our cat, not just dropping by to give her food. She sent so many pictures and made sure to break out some of our cat's favorite toys, which left us reassured that she was in good hands.”

“Heather and Daniel were very accommodating with a last minute request. Their love and care for our sweet girl allowed us to spend a fun day with friends at Disney. They were super responsive, flexible, and I would not hesitate to recommend them! We will look them up again in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, including a Yorkie, Golden Retriever, Chocolate Lab, and a Mini Goldendoodle. Because of that I’m very comfortable caring for different breeds and personalities. I’ve also been dog sitting for a mini dachshund regularly over the past six months, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m a student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for pets. I’m available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting, and I’m happy to work around owners’ schedules to make sure their pets get the attention they need. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, walks, and routines. I’m very attentive and make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision.

About: Hi, I’m Rosa! I’m a Miami based animal lover who has grown up around dogs. My experience started with my own mixed Maltese dogs and over the years I’ve learned to read and adapt to each dog’s personality…whether they need a calm presence or a playful companion, I adjust to their needs. My experience has also extended to overnight pet sitting care for dogs. One of my most memorable moments has been being present for the birth of puppies, something that gave me a whole new appreciation for animals are at every stage of life. I offer dog walking and drop in visits for dogs of all sizes, and I genuinely enjoy every minute of it. Your pup will get attentive, loving care. I’d love to meet your dog! 🐾 I keep a structured but flexible schedule. I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits on weekday mornings before work, evenings after 5 pm, and throughout the weekend. I keep my bookings intentional so you’ll always receive a photo update and message during every visit so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. When I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own space. I will follow your instructions well, keep things tidy, and make sure your pet feels secure in their own space.

About: Hablo español! Falo português brasileiro! Parlo italiano! I’ve had dogs my whole life and am an avid lover of animals. I’ve cared for elderly dogs (14 yrs +), 2 month old puppies and just about everything in between. Between organizing vet visits, keeping medical records in order, and of course providing plenty of care and attention, I consider myself to be a highly responsible and dedicated pet owner. A fun fact is that I bake each of my family’s dogs a cake (dog safe of course) on their birthdays and special occasions! I am studying for a big entrance exam, but during the week I have flexibility depending on the day and occasionally on weekends. Feel free to reach out! I am a KB native and love being part of this community. I do not currently have any dogs since my two beloved Jack Russells recently passed, but I am a dog lover and truly enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds! I am also very detail oriented and organized, and am extremely diligent with maintaining a clean space and environment both in my own home and especially in a client’s home, which especially includes making sure paws have been thoroughly cleaned upon returning home!
“We heavily rely on Sam’s support afforded to Athena, which has ranged from walks to/from dog care and house siting in our place. Sam is a pleasant detail oriented, exceptional communicator that our dog enjoys hanging out.”

About: I have so much genuine love for all dogs. It is so easy for me to be patient and loving towards them. I have cared for doggies from Belgian Malinois to Yorkies, big and small dogs, calm and active. Loved every single minute with all of them. I currently have a mini schnauzer and a labradoodle. I freelance marketing and creative gigs, so I make my own schedule. I can smoothly fit your doggies' needs into my schedule as well as my dogs' needs. It's all about showering them with love and tailoring the experience to their unique personalities. I believe in earning the trust of our furry friends, so I pay close attention to what they need and how much affection they're comfortable with. I am comfortable with following the owners orders, rules, and demands.
About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up around pets since I was five years old which has given me a lifetime of hands-on experience with animals of all ages sizes and personalities. Caring for pets isn’t just something I do - I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I take the time to get to know each pet’s routine , personality and needs to ensure they are comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s going for walks, sticking to feeding plans, or just simply spending quality time with them. I want every pet to have a positive stress-free experience. I work full time 4 days out of the week. I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday off. I also wake up very early at 6 am and I always have a lot of time after i finish work at 6 to make sure any booked pets are well taken care of. With animals, it is all about body language. I would make sure they approach me and get to know me first before I reach out and make contact myself. Only after then I can tell if the pet is skid-dish and needs some time and encouragement or if they trust easy I would make sure to acknowledge that and show the love back. Going from there I would be able to handle them like they were my own and make sure they are well taken care of. These animals are souls that cannot express themselves with words and I make sure I can hear them and have them trust me.
About: Hello my name is Pedro, I'm a spiritualist, dog's best friend, animal guardian, gardener. I learned about rover and how it's a great tool to continue growing my passion. Dogs are no doubt, the best example of unconditional love, which is something I believe many humans posses and are afraid to embrace. It's power that when tapped into can inspire the human population to become more and more fruitful, and dogs are one of the best examples on earth. Every dog I've met, remembers me the next time around. I've been around animals ever since I was a kid. Through the years I've encountered many experiences and observations to add to my skill. I know people are busy so I'm willing to help do your dog duties for you. I take care of my family dogs and believe all other dogs are family. Pet care is part of my lifestyle it is not something that takes me out of my natural rhythm. It comes naturally and flows smoothly. I keep a close eye on all our dogs including the natural interactions they have with other dogs and I make sure interactions are balanced and Noone gets hurt.

“Aria went above and beyond taking care of my cat while I was away. She sent detailed updates daily and was super kind and friendly. Would definitely request Aria’s help next time I leave town. Thanks Aria!”

“Mariya was fantastic watching my two cats for the week I was away. My situation isn’t the easiest — my cats have to be kept separated, with one being pretty shy around new people — but Mariya handled it with patience and care. She kept me updated with regular check-ins, and it was clear she genuinely paid attention to each cat’s individual needs rather than just doing a quick in and out visit. I came home to two happy, well fed, comfortable cats and zero stress. Highly recommend Mariya to anyone with cats, especially if you’ve got a trickier multi-cat household like mine she’s clearly experienced and trustworthy. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them and this is the first time since I was 2 that I haven’t had a dog in my home, so I truly miss being around them. I’ve helped raise 5 puppies, so I’m comfortable with everything from training basics to high-energy stages. I love dogs of all sizes and personalities. I enjoy going on walks and staying active, but I’m also in medical school, so I’m just as happy spending time studying while keeping your dog company if they prefer a calm environment. I’m very attentive, reliable, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m on campus during the daytime Tuesday through Thursday, but aside from that I have a very open schedule. I’m usually studying, which gives me flexibility throughout the day and evening. I’m available for mornings, nights, weekends, and overnights, and can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I do not have any pets and am not allowed to have them in my apartment, so I provide care in my client’s home. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure your pet stays in their normal routine. I am respectful of your space, keep things clean, and make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Caitlyn was an absolute joy and delight to work with and a HUGE relief for me while I was out of town! I knew without a doubt in my mind that my fur-babies were well taken care of, pampered, and loved on. Both of my cats are UBER social and I knew I needed someone who not only would interact actively with them but would look forward to and enjoy doing it. I got at least 3 videos and many pictures everyday of the cats trotting to the door, obviously looking forward to Caitlyn's visits, knowing they would receive love, cuddles, grooming and play time. Caitlyn was also great at communicating with me, was friendly, professional and easy to work with. I am so pleased to know that I have a reliable cat-sitter for the future and will definitely call upon her again in the future. My only gripes with her is that I obviously want to give her a great review and am now afraid she wont be available in the future!!”

“Jennifer is amazing! She’s super kind to Pretzel, very professional, punctual, friendly and communicative. Pretzel starts off a little shy and she was patient with him. She goes above and beyond for your fur baby.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
