I've owned and cared for pets my entire life, and nurturing animals has always come naturally to me. About: I have had numerous pets throughout my life and currently have 2 cats. I love animals and frankly have all the time in the world right now during summer to come help you with your pets. I am a full time student at FSU and am currently home for the summer. I can absolutely fit pet care into my daily routine as I am not enrolled in any summer classes. I can pass a background check if needed, (never committed a crime), and can do practically anything you need for your animals, feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, or just spending time with them.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently own and care for a young German Shepherd named Juddy. Through daily training, walks, exercise, supervision, and structured routines, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for active and large-breed dogs. About: I grew up in France surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, horses, and even chickens, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. Ever since I was little, I’ve naturally connected with animals and genuinely love being around them. I’m 27 years old and currently have a 12 year old dog named Lilo and a 4 year old cat named Phoenix, so I understand both senior pet care and the attention pets need to feel safe and loved. About: Hello, my name is Laina and I’m so excited to get to know you and your pup! Ki is my partner and we are both available to watch your dog which means we’re basically available 24/7! Since we’re just starting off, we set our rates lower to build out a client base. I’m currently a law student 👩🏽‍⚖️📚 at University of Miami School of Law 🙌🏾💚🧡 so I have plenty of time to walk and dogsit in between classes and studying, plus it’ll be great to be active with them to get out more! I live with my partner Ki who is an optician 👓 and a personal trainer 💪🏽, is extremely active 🏃🏼, and is so great with animals. Between the two of us, someone is always available to spend time with your loved one, it’s like a two-for-one special! I’ve had pretty much any animal as a pet from hedgehogs 🦔 to horses 🐴 and my soul dog was a rottie, so I have plenty of experience with animals of all sizes. Ki’s family bred chihuahuas and he had a pitbull growing up so he also understand the needs of different breeds. I looked into rover originally to make some extra money to help pay for law school, but I decided to sign-up because of my love for dogs and all animals! Also, I’ve had dogs my entire life up until recently so I miss being around them. I’m young and active so I can take your dogs on walks or runs, yet I’m extremely responsible and trustworthy which will be applicable for drop-in visits and doggy day care. Aside from the safety & health, I believe dogs should have fun in any environment they’re in! I’ll play with them a lot and care for them as if they’re my own puppy!

When your pet stays with me, they are getting a vacation of their own. When you travel or go on vacation, they get to have a getaway of their own. If using the Rover App, scroll through the top picture to see the photo gallery of dogs having fun and enjoying their vacation. If on the desktop website, click on full gallery photos. Rover is definitely better than boarding your pet at a dog hotel, especially if they have anxiety. It is like Air BnB for your pet. : ) I live on a small peaceful lake with a big, fenced backyard. There is usually a nice breeze. I have a big open space home and a large backyard, plus a pool. Pets can go in the pool. I know golden retrievers and labradors can’t resist, so please let me know if your dog may attempt to go in and if you prefer that they don’t. I do not allow pets in the lake. The lake is closed off, not connected to other lakes or canals (very safe). I have a cute, playful, friendly Labrador so your pet will also have a playmate. His name is Chance. He is 7 years old and neutered. He is also crate trained. He gets along with all dogs and all sizes. In the pictures you can see other dogs I have taken care of. The last few pictures are of me and Chance having fun. Our prices are in line with the market rate (and cheaper than a dog hotel) but in my home, your dog is getting a vacation and a playmate (as mentioned in the details above). I prefer dogs that are potty trained. I also prefer friendly breeds. Please bring your dog’s bed, food and 2 poop bags per day. Also bring their crate if crate trained (this is in case only if I have more than 2 dogs during busy holiday season AND only if they are used to their home crate). It also helps some dogs feel at home and have their own scent. Be sure they are bathed and clean as they tend to also use Chance’s dog bed or lay on our rugs. I prefer they do not go on furniture but it’s ok if they do (Chance lays on the couch all the time). I am available weekends and/or holidays. I can also provide dog walks in Brickell during the weekday. On some occasions I can do a dog visit but it depends on day and location. Please let me know if you need more information or have any questions. I work full time but work from home 2 days out of the week. I keep dogs on a feeding schedule along with back yard play time and potty time. They basically do the same routine and schedule as Chance. I have a fenced in yard and one dog to keep your fur baby happy and in good company. I can crate your dog if needed or if you prefer. Please bring their crate if crate trained and sleep or are used to going in and out of their "home'. Sometimes it helps them having their scent.
