About: I’ve always grown up surrounded by cats. When I lived in France, my family and I had 5 cats, and after moving to Miami we always continued having cats in our home. I currently have my cat Phoenix, and my brother also has two sister cats that I help care for very often. My first cat in Miami was named Cookie, who unfortunately passed away from old age a few years ago, so I understand both kitten care and senior cat care very well. About: Hello, my name is Laina and I’m so excited to get to know you and your pup! Ki is my partner and we are both available to watch your dog which means we’re basically available 24/7! Since we’re just starting off, we set our rates lower to build out a client base. I’m currently a law student 👩🏽⚖️📚 at University of Miami School of Law 🙌🏾💚🧡 so I have plenty of time to walk and dogsit in between classes and studying, plus it’ll be great to be active with them to get out more! I live with my partner Ki who is an optician 👓 and a personal trainer 💪🏽, is extremely active 🏃🏼, and is so great with animals. Between the two of us, someone is always available to spend time with your loved one, it’s like a two-for-one special! I’ve had pretty much any animal as a pet from hedgehogs 🦔 to horses 🐴 and my soul dog was a rottie, so I have plenty of experience with animals of all sizes. Ki’s family bred chihuahuas and he had a pitbull growing up so he also understand the needs of different breeds. I looked into rover originally to make some extra money to help pay for law school, but I decided to sign-up because of my love for dogs and all animals! Also, I’ve had dogs my entire life up until recently so I miss being around them. I’m young and active so I can take your dogs on walks or runs, yet I’m extremely responsible and trustworthy which will be applicable for drop-in visits and doggy day care. Aside from the safety & health, I believe dogs should have fun in any environment they’re in! I’ll play with them a lot and care for them as if they’re my own puppy!
