About: Hi! My name is Coco, I have 3 dogs at home (2 rambunctious shiba inu puppies named Neko and Milo and a chill newfoundland named Shanti), and had a black cat named Woecat growing up. I have experience caring for pets such as dogs and cats of various ages, as well as fish and guinea pigs. I have a car and can drive, so I can drive over whenever you need me. I can house-sit in addition to pet-sitting if preferred, as well as walking pets. My schedule is fairly flexible, I work part time and have lots of availability. Let me know if I can be of any help! My schedule is flexible, I am a freelance musician and work other jobs part time, so generally during the week and some weekends are when I am available. For my dogs first thing I do is I walk them to get them super tired, then I let them drink water, eat, and play. They typically take a nap after this, and if they are still full of energy then I take them for another walk!
About: I’ve been a trusted pet sitter/walker for friends, family, and referrals for over 10 years. Dogs truly bring me so much joy, and their happiness, comfort, and safety always come first. I’d love the opportunity to care for, walk, play with, or babysit your pup like they’re my own. Walks, Playtime & Lots of Love 🐾 I have a flexible routine and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with pets, so your pup will get lots of attention, care, playtime, and love throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop ins, boarding, and pet sitting, and I always do my best to make pets feel comfortable and cared for. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced-in backyard with plenty of space to play and relax. I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for like family. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any special instructions, and I’ll create a calm, loving environment for your fur baby.

“Matteo is an incredible dog walker and an absolute lifesaver. He provides such thoughtful care for my dog, Luna, and is always quick to respond whenever I need anything. His reliability and kindness give me so much peace of mind, and I know Luna is in great hands when he is with her. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for someone truly dependable.”

About: My name is Ellie and I’m a student at the university of Miami. I love all animals and have had pets my entire life. I’m looking for families who need a little extra help whether that be walking, home visits, or overnight boarding. I love all animals! I have grown up with many pets and have trained them all. Not only have I volunteered at shelter and have helped take care of the animals, but I also have fostered many animals in order to help them learn. I have also watched my friends and families dogs while they have been away. I’m currently a student at University of Miami so my weekly schedule is less open on weekends, however I can change stuff around to be able to make it! I do not offer services in my home, however i will make sure that the pet is well taken care of and watched when I am at a clients home.
“Miranda was wonderful! Today was the first time she walked our three dogs. She was so professional, responsive and sweet. Her summary was so detailed about her walk and feeding session. She even sent us a bunch of pictures on Rover app of our dogs during their walk. Highly recommend her services and will schedule her again for next time we need her help!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since before I was born. I love puppies and senior dogs. I’m an animal enthusiast in general and walking dogs is a dream job! I’m currently working part time(15hrs), so I have plenty of time to walk and care for our furry friends. Typically available 4-7 days of the week. I make sure to walk, feed, play, and let the pet outside accordingly. I typically set alarms or reminders on my phone with a schedule I adhere to.( client given or make one)
“Isabella did a fantastic job! We were in a bind and needed a dog walker asap and she came to the rescue! Mila (our dog) loved her!!! Thanks again Isabella! We will definitely ask for your help again!”

About: I've had a dog in my home since I was 5 years old. I helped train and raise my current pups Rocky, Coco, and Gigi, and I have been a reliable pet sitter for family and friends my whole life. I've worked with dogs of all energy levels - I love playing with active pups and cuddling with the calmer ones too. I will give your fur baby my full attention and make sure they are well taken care of and feel loved while you are away. I am responsible, punctual, attentive to detail, and will work to keep your pet safe and comfortable. I look forward to learning about your dog's habits, including feeding, walking, and potty breaks, and upon request I am happy to bathe your dog before pickup. I can also send photos and updates of your dog throughout their stay! I am free on weekends and select weekdays and to care for and play with your pup. I am a UM Law student with classes during the week but enjoy taking care of dogs on my free time, so I mostly watch pets on the weekends. If a longer stay is needed, just let me know and I'd be happy to accommodate your request. However, for dog walks, I am available almost every day of the week. I have a large fenced yard with lots of play space and a small, friendly Jack Russell (neutered) that could keep your fur baby company if you so choose (spacious home and pet gates). My home is a safe environment with cool air conditioning, clean tile floors, pet beds with blankets, and toys available for play. If your pooch prefers sleeping in a bed, I am happy to cuddle with your dog in mine so they feel right at home.
About: I am very attentive and track your pets (dog or cat) through DogLog (an app) and share details of your fur babies activities with me (walks/pees/medications/playtime you name it). Overall I am a great listener and will follow whatever protocols you take with your dog, if they are in heat or if they like to cuddle or not I'm here for the both of you! Whatever the case may be I am willing to adapt to them and their personalities/lifestyle. I know that dogs are apart of our family and I will treat your best friend as such. I have had dogs of all kinds in my life growing up and have house sat before with dogs cats and even chickens! I am aware of my surroundings at all times to ensure their safety and love to play with dogs. I do love a pre-meet to get to know you both as well! Just be open and honest about when you need me and I can work to accommodate! I am easily able to take care of your pets! When caring for pets, whether in my own home or a client’s, I prioritize their safety by being vigilant on walks, getting to know them before my care begins with a pre-meet to make sure I build rapport with your fur or furless babies. Building trust involves maintaining their routine, communicating regularly with pet owners, and respecting their boundaries. All animals are different and I acclimate to their needs.
About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life and have owned two dogs and a cat. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, attentive, and caring when you’re away from your pets. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and enjoy spending time outdoors, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise, and walks. I live in Coral Gables and have access to a safe home and yard where pets can feel comfortable and secure. As an incoming law student, I am responsible, organized, and dependable. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or overnight care, I will treat them with the same love and attention that I gave my own pets. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and at ease while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule as I prepare to start law school. Since I am living at home and spending most of my time doing readings and getting ready for the fall semester, I have plenty of availability throughout the day. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, feedings, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. If needed, I can also help with pick-ups, drop-offs, and house visits. The only thing I ask is that cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance so I can plan my schedule accordingly. My home is located in a safe, quiet area of Coral Gables and is just a five-minute walk from a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide regular exercise and outdoor time. I have plenty of experience around animals and understand the importance of maintaining their routines and respecting their individual personalities. If your pet stays with me, they’ll have a comfortable environment with space to relax and play. Additionally, my mom is often home during the day, so there is usually someone around the house. I am happy to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, or other preferences to ensure your pet’s routine stays as consistent as possible.
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. I was the primary trainer and caretaker of my current two dogs and I have even been trusted by family and friends to watch over their animals when away, in addition to some formal freelance pet-sitting jobs. I am currently a full time student, but my days are pretty open in the afternoons and weekends are free, so I am very available to give your pet the needed time and attention. My goal is to make sure that your pet is adequately cared for and is as happy as possible while you are away. I would be willing to stay with your pet as long as requested (schedule permitting) in order to ensure that everything is in order for them and that they are settled.

“Pia was amazing! She was super attentive, caring, and really made sure my dogs was well taken care of. She kept me informed every step of the way, which was so reassuring. You can tell she truly loves animals. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a great dog sitter!"”

About: Ever since I was little, I've owned and cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes. In recent years, I've done plenty of dog sitting and walking for neighbors, family, and friends. I love hanging out with dogs, and I think I make pretty good company. I'm familiar with what it's like to care for a dog with not the best behavior, either. I'm completely comfortable and excited to hang out with any dog. I'm still a student, but have a pretty flexible and open schedule. I'm free after school nearly every day of the week after 3:10 until whatever time I'm needed. On weekends, I have pretty clear schedules all day. I'll usually be free anytime ranging from about 8 AM - 7 PM. I've been around and taking care of dogs for years. I can help feed, walk, play, or any other things to help. I would love to do multiple daily stop-ins to hangout and play with your pup!
About: I have over 13 years of experience caring for and being around dogs, including walking my own German Shepherd and helping walk dogs for family and friends of many different breeds. I truly love spending time with dogs and taking them on walks because I know how happy, healthy, and excited it makes them. I understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Walking dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would love the opportunity to help give dogs the exercise, attention, and love they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I already make time every day to care for and walk my own German Shepherd. I’m currently in school and taking summer classes, so walking dogs is also a really nice and fun break from schoolwork. I love being able to go outside, get fresh air, and spend time with dogs while giving them the exercise and attention they need. Since caring for dogs is already a big part of my life, I’m comfortable adding dog walking and pet care into my routine consistently and responsibly. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether I am in my home or a client’s home. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, personality, and routine because every dog is different. I would follow any instructions the owner gives me, such as feeding times, walk routes, medications, crate rules, or special care needs. I also make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times so the pet stays safe. My goal is to treat every pet like they are my own and make sure the owner feels comfortable trusting me with their dog.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently own and care for a young German Shepherd named Juddy. Through daily training, walks, exercise, supervision, and structured routines, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for active and large-breed dogs. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, bathing, administering basic care, and providing attentive supervision in a safe and active home environment. I currently maintain a flexible full-time schedule and am available throughout the week for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop-in visits. This allows me to provide attentive supervision, consistent care, regular walks, and timely communication with pet owners. I’m able to accommodate both weekday and weekend bookings and prioritize creating a safe, active, and comfortable environment for every dog in my care. I provide a clean, spacious, and supervised home environment where safety and communication come first. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, use safe introductions, and keep owners updated with photos and messages. As a German Shepherd owner, I understand the importance of structure, patience, and responsible care.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Miami
Highly recommend! She did a fantastic job looking after Luna during a long day. She followed every instruction perfectly, from finding the key hidden by the blue gnome to being patient with Luna’s fears of elevators and ceramic floors. She was careful to use the door with only two stairs and made sure Luna got her treat sticks after the walk. It was such a relief knowing Luna was in such capable and observant hands!

It was my first time using rover and Andrea was very attentive in our first meeting and responded right away for my last minute weekly dog walking. She had her first session with my dog Indigo last week, she made sure to keep me updated and sent me pictures and videos along the way on their walk. She is great and very friendly, would recommend Andrea to other rover app users. She’s the best!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
