“Haley is the sweetest and our family couldn't have been happier with the time she spent with Bo. She responded quickly to my message, was on time for both walks we booked and took great care of our pup. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Matteo is an incredible dog walker and an absolute lifesaver. He provides such thoughtful care for my dog, Luna, and is always quick to respond whenever I need anything. His reliability and kindness give me so much peace of mind, and I know Luna is in great hands when he is with her. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for someone truly dependable.”

About: For my whole life as long as I can remember I've been loving and taking care of animals, specifically cats. Now I want to do the same for dogs.💖 As a part time flexible job, I hope I can provide the services needed whenever I am available. My times vary, but I will be sure to take care of your pet as best I can. I have two cats. One indoors and one outdoors. Both do not like each other and the orange one does not like strangers. However, the one outdoors does tend to be a little nicer to strange animals than the orange one.
“I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker! She’s incredibly reliable, flexible with scheduling, and has such a great personality. Toby absolutely adores her, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Autum did an amazing job with Ace! He can be a big, affectionate dog, and she handled him so well. He came back happy, calm, and clearly enjoyed his time with her. 10 out of 10 paws 🐾”

About: Hi my name is Katherine and I’ve gone through a lot of dogs over the years. Over that period of time I’ve learned how to walk, feed, play, train and get the attention of a loving dog. People ask me why I love my dogs so much and I’ll tell them that my dog can show me the greatest love even when I’m down so it makes me want to love my dogs back even when he does something wrong I know I can forgive my dog because I love him too much and I know that your dog will love me the same way my dog loves me and I’m sure you’ll love me too. I welcome all kind of Dogs because for me all Dogs are the same🐶💕
About: I got my first dog when I was 11 years old and have loved pets ever since. I've always had doggies and have cared for them with lots of love! I currently work from home as a mental health counselor, and care for doggies and cats as often as I can during my free time. I can prepare your pet's meals, dedicate play time, and take them for walks. I'm a lover of all pets, young and old, big and small.
“Mariya and her partner gave me a lot of confidence from the start. It was their first time walking my dogs, and I’ll definitely be calling them again. My dogs are big and sometimes unpredictable around other dogs or if they see a cat, so I really appreciated how well everything went. I’m very happy with the experience and will absolutely reach out again. Thank you!”

About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life and have owned two dogs and a cat. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, attentive, and caring when you’re away from your pets. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and enjoy spending time outdoors, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise, and walks. I live in Coral Gables and have access to a safe home and yard where pets can feel comfortable and secure. As an incoming law student, I am responsible, organized, and dependable. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or overnight care, I will treat them with the same love and attention that I gave my own pets. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and at ease while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule as I prepare to start law school. Since I am living at home and spending most of my time doing readings and getting ready for the fall semester, I have plenty of availability throughout the day. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, feedings, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. If needed, I can also help with pick-ups, drop-offs, and house visits. The only thing I ask is that cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance so I can plan my schedule accordingly. My home is located in a safe, quiet area of Coral Gables and is just a five-minute walk from a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide regular exercise and outdoor time. I have plenty of experience around animals and understand the importance of maintaining their routines and respecting their individual personalities. If your pet stays with me, they’ll have a comfortable environment with space to relax and play. Additionally, my mom is often home during the day, so there is usually someone around the house. I am happy to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, or other preferences to ensure your pet’s routine stays as consistent as possible.
““Excelente cuidadora. Fue muy cariñosa y paciente con Lobo, lo trató como un bebé y siguió todas mis instrucciones perfectamente. Me mantuvo informada en todo momento y Lobo regresó feliz y relajado. Se nota que ama a los animales y tiene mucha experiencia. La recomiendo al 100% y definitivamente volveré a reservar con ella.” An excellent caregiver. She was very loving and patient with Lobo, treated him like a baby, and followed all my instructions perfectly. She kept me updated at all times, and Lobo came back happy and relaxed. You can tell she truly loves animals and has a lot of experience. I highly recommend her, and I will definitely book with her again.””

“Mercedes is excellent!!! Super responsable and punctual. She maintains constant communication and gave us reports on each walk. We stay happy and confident leaving our furry son with her!!!!”

About: I've taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old, and grew up on a horse farm with both cats and dogs. I have been walking and training both cats and dogs more seriously for the past 6 years. I also foster pit-bulls in my spare time. I put trust and patience at the forefront of my methodology and would love to care for your animals. I am currently a college student so I have a lot of free time. During the day I can come walk or spend time with your furry friends. On weekends I am completely free! I will work hard to gain the trust of your animals and since I am a long distance runner I can take your pets on long walks and runs
“Miranda has been walking my dog, Olive, for a few months now - and if I could give Miranda 11 out of 10 stars, I would! She’s punctual, reliable, conscientious, always follows through on any modifications to the walks we suggests, is an excellent communicator, and shows Olive so much warmth, love, and attention that I never have to worry about Olive when I’m not home. Miranda rocks, and I’m very grateful to have found her as Olive’s walker.”

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for the past 4 years and caring for my own pup has given me hands-on, everyday experience with what dogs truly need to feel happy and safe. I personally potty trained my dog, established a consistent routine, and make sure he gets daily walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I understand how important structure, patience, and positive reinforcement are when it comes to training and behavior. From high-energy play sessions to calm cuddle time, I adapt to what each dog needs. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, cleaning up accidents, and reinforcing house rules while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll treat your pet like my own, with patience, care, and plenty of affection. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I’m committed to giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I work from home most of the time, so I have a flexible schedule — especially in the mornings before 9:30 AM and in the afternoons after 5 PM. I’m also occasionally available during the day depending on my workload, which makes it easy for me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, or feedings. I’m frequently in the Coral Gables, Downtown, and Wynwood areas, so I’m very comfortable and familiar with those neighborhoods. Since I already structure my day around being home and moving around those areas, adding pet care visits is something I can consistently and reliably commit to. Safety and trust are my top priorities with every pet I care for. Since I offer walks and drop-in visits, I focus on making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. For walks, I always double-check that collars and harnesses are properly secured before heading out. I’m very mindful of surroundings, avoiding unsafe areas, keeping a safe distance from unfamiliar dogs, and paying attention to weather conditions (especially Miami heat). I follow any specific instructions you provide, including preferred routes, energy level, or training cues. For drop-in visits, I respect your home as if it were my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, and any routines your pet is used to. I’ll make sure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured before leaving, and I’m happy to send photo and text updates so you feel confident and informed while you’re away. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and positive experience for both pets and their owners every time.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Coral Terrace
Highly recommend! She did a fantastic job looking after Luna during a long day. She followed every instruction perfectly, from finding the key hidden by the blue gnome to being patient with Luna’s fears of elevators and ceramic floors. She was careful to use the door with only two stairs and made sure Luna got her treat sticks after the walk. It was such a relief knowing Luna was in such capable and observant hands!

Arianna was our dog walker for over a month and she was wonderful. It was my first time using the app and I was nervous but she put me at ease. She’s sharp, fast learner, asked how exactly I wanted things done, on time, incredibly responsible. She was so sweet with Lloyd and kept me up to date on how he was doing. She’s wonderful.

Fantastic! Went above and beyond on their walks, communicated often and always quickly. Eileen was very flexible with some sudden changes I requested of her at the last minute and was very responsive. Will definitely book her for my next trip! Thanks again, Eileen.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
