About: I’ve been a devoted dog parent for most of my adult life (just turned 40 btw 🥰) and genuinely love caring for dogs as if they were my own. I’ve cared for friends’ dogs for extended periods, including dogs and puppies for several months while a friend adjusted to life with a new baby. I also trained my own dog, Benji, so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention dogs need at different stages of life. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, puppy care, and, of course, lots of affection. About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover with over 5 years of experience in dog walking and pet sitting. I’ve cared for dogs with all kinds of personalities, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog and making sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable. I’m also very comfortable with dogs who aren’t necessarily the biggest fans of other dogs or people. My own dog is reactive, so I’m used to being patient, paying attention to body language, avoiding situations that may overwhelm a dog, and giving them the space they need. Because of this, I understand that every dog is different and that some pups need a little extra patience and care. I’ve mainly done dog walking and sitting in clients’ homes since I’m unable to board dogs at my own house due to my dog’s reactivity. We are so happy we chose Marisol to take care of Niko, our 10-year-old Shihtzu, for our trip to Arizona. He stayed for 3 days and 3 nights, and this was our first time using a dog care service. Niko is normally very clingy, anxious, and spoiled. Marisol was very kind and caring toward our 10-year-old dog. She sent me plenty of photos and always kept me updated, being attentive to his needs and accommodating his routine and all his quirks. Mayra took phenomenal care of Bear when we went out of town. I got picture updates and messages throughout the day. He enjoyed cuddle time with her and her family, and even ran some errands with her. The cherry on top was he came home bathed, fur perfectly trimmed and smelling great. She even sent home a little goodie/care package! A true doggie spa experience for our little man.
I’m very happy with the care she gave my dog. She took great care of her and made sure she felt comfortable and loved during her stay. Alejandro and his wife Robby were absolutely amazing dog sitters. They were very attentive, sent lots of photo and video updates, and took our puppy on many walks at the park near their house. This was our first time boarding our dog overnight with someone, and it was a really great experience.
