Hi, I’m Courtney. I’ve lived in Miami for the past 18 years and grew up in Ohio, where dogs were always part of my everyday life. Caring for dogs has never felt like a job—it’s simply something I’ve always done with love since I was a child. I have over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. The breeds I’m most familiar with are Doodles of any kind, Golden retrievers and Labrador retrievers.

Courtney is great and Lincoln loves staying with her and Lucy. She takes great care of him and gives us peace of mind when we are away.
Courtney did a fantastic job taking care of my elderly Chihuahua. She is did a perfect job with communication and attentiveness. It is clear that she loves dogs, and I felt like she cared for mine just like she cares for hers. Her space is very clean, safe, and comfortable for dogs.
Lincoln loves staying here, he is so well taken care of Courtney and Frankie are great and give the best care to Lincoln - thank you!
Courtney is wonderful, we can’t recommend her enough! This was her 2nd time taking care of our very active GSP - she kept us updated with lots of pictures and made sure our Raya got plenty of exercise at the park. Her dog Lucy is also incredibly sweet!
Courtney and her husband were incredible with Ollie! I have used several rovers and she has by far been the most attentive and consistent with sending updates. She even drove him to the Gables to take him for long walks. Her dog Lucy is so sweet and, in my opinion, was a great influence on his behavior. I appreciate that she only takes one dog at a time because he got all the love and attention. I could definitely tell he was sad to leave at the end! I have already booked his second stay and will continue to book with her :)
Courtney was amazing! This was our first time leaving our 1yr old GSP, but we could tell she felt right at home with Courtney and her dog Lucy. She sent tons of updates and made sure to give our Raya plenty of exercise. Would highly recommend!

Schedule
I’m very mindful about the kind of care I offer. I only welcome one dog at a time, which allows me to give your pup my full attention in a calm, peaceful environment. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I believe they deserve to feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for—not just watched.

I was fortunate to learn about dog behavior early on from my aunt, who is a professional dog behaviorist and trainer. Along with my degree in psychology, this background helps me tune into a dog’s emotional needs, body language, and comfort level. I share my home with my husband (who also loves dogs) and my three-year-old mini Goldendoodle, Lucy, who I trained myself. She’s gentle, playful, and incredibly loving, and she truly enjoys having dog friends around. Also, sometimes we have my in-laws two chihuahuas who are brothers. They’re 12, friendly, and are usually just in my husband’s office on their beds most of the time when they are here.

A typical day
I understand the importance of mental exercise as well as physical, so I have a good amount of dog puzzles in my house. I can also work on training your dog to keep them mentally occupied. They can have fun sniffing the scents of other dogs and exploring the great outdoors on walks which is so important for a happy and healthy dog!
