“Gabriela took wonderful care of our two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Jasper and Penelope, during a 3 night stay at our house while I was away. She sent updates and plenty of photos throughout, and it was clear the dogs were happy and well looked after the entire time. On top of that, she left the house spotless, which we highly appreciated. Thank you, Gabriela, for your time and care.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my neighbors Husky for 2 years. I’ve also done cat sitting for my friends when they go out of town. I come multiple times a day to play, walk and feed the animals. I’m currently working part time, my availability is free Monday - Friday until 5pm. When my availability changes I will be sure to keep you updated. I had a Great Pyrenees and Boxer, I would walk them for 30 - 45 minutes twice a day and when they had the zoomies I would let them run in the backyard.

About: I’ve taken care of friend’s and family’s pets for years when they’re away on vacation/travels. I pay attention to detail, meaning that I won’t just feed them and meet their basic needs; I will also share quality time with them so that they don’t feel alone, bored, or anxious while you’re gone. I’m a teacher, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pet now in the summer time. I’m very active and enjoy a good long walk, but I’m also very calm and focused. Your pet will feel like they have a companion while also having their needs met. I can easily follow directions in terms of what your pet needs to be safe in their home. Whether it’s getting them in a crate, walking around the neighborhood with their leash, playing outside if you have a patio, etc.
“I needed a sitter last minute to stay at my home with my nervous dog and Jane was incredible! She sent lots of updates and was extremely communicative. I would trust Jane with Nari any time I am away.”

“I HIGHLY recommend working with Lux (Emily B.). We needed a last minute cat sitter to come do a house stay. We were hesitant about leaving because our elderly cat had recently gotten injured, but Lux kept a careful eye on them the whole time and sent regular updates and sweet photos. They are kind, communicative, responsible, and genuinely love animals. They even stayed a bit longer than required to make sure our cat had company till we got home. So thoughtful, we will definitely be working with them again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets while they're away. As a registered nurse, I'm calm in emergencies, detail oriented with routines and medications, and genuinely love giving animals the attention they deserve. Whether it's a quick walk or feed, I treat every dog as my own. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available per my calendar’s availability. I also have flexibility for drop-in visits and walks throughout the week, and I'm happy to accommodate specific routines your dog is used to, whether that's meal timing, medication schedules, or daily walk length. When I'm in your home, I keep things calm and consistent so your pet feels comfortable with the routine, whether that's meal timing, walks, or playtime. As a registered nurse, I'm attentive to health and safety details, especially for pets with medications or special needs. I treat your home and your dog with care and respect, and your pet will always get my full attention while I'm there, never rushed or overlooked.
About: I’m super flexible when it comes to my schedule and will make time for any family and pet, I enjoy spending time with all animals and families. I work full time however after 6pm I am available especially to house/pet sit, I’m studying for my mcat so all pets will keep me company! Breaks are important while studying , and all my attention will be one them by playing, walking them or anything special they require My youngest rescue puppy Bruno has been crate trained and his crate is his safe space. We have special fences in the house that safely lock every time and all our pets have AirTags on them to make sure they’re home safe plus we make sure all doors are properly secured anytime we leave the house.
“Great communication and care! My two dogs required a lot of extra love and Theresa was up for the challenge. Besides being a lovely sitter she could be a professional pet photographer.”

“Andreina & Mercedes were absolutely great and provided 5 star service. Great communication with detailed updates and pictures throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend and book again. Thank you so much!”

About: I used to do alot of babysitting for my next door neighbor with her dachshund and also around the neighborhood cats and dogs. I did it a lot in high school and through out the years. I'm currently working full-time at a therapist's office front desk and on weekends at a candle-making shop. I can always work around my schedule it's pretty much flexible. I used to have a dog a wheaten terrier she passed away in March which was the hardest month for me. So I need that interaction.
About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life. In high school, I was part of a veterinary magnet program where I earned my CVA certification and got about two years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I spent around three years working in dog training as well. I’ve fostered both dogs and cats, which gave me experience helping animals with different personalities and needs adjust and feel comfortable. I have experience with pets of all different sizes and ages and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, basic training, and of course giving them plenty of attention and love. Having pets of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I currently work part-time and am also in school, but I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and other care depending on what you and your pet need. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave for me. I’m comfortable handling different personalities and needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of attention while in my care. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own.
“Ahnisha (Lola) came to my Brickell home the same day I reached out and I explained all of my anxieties about dog sitting in my home while I was away for a business trip. I have two needy senior dogs and one cat. Throughout the week I was away, she was very pleasant, thoughtful, caring, mature and most importantly, trustworthy. She followed instructions, gave meds & kept me updated with everything! I appreciate how respectful she was to my home (going above & beyond, cleaning) and my pets. It takes a lot to put your trust into a person caring for your animals when you love them so much, I’m so thankful to have Lola now and we will be using her again. One more thing, she literally cuddled them during the thunderstorm!🥹”

“My dog is a rescue with severe anxiety and fear. We’ve never been able to board her or have someone pet sit her successfully but Janeth was able to gain her trust and confidence! Extremely patient, caring, and accommodating to my special dog’s needs. Definitely will be using her again!”

“Deborah did an outstanding job with our babies. When I got home neither of them were stressed out from us being gone or from the sitting. She did what she said she would and what we asked from her. We will be rebooking with Deborah again.”

About: I have had numerous pets throughout my life and currently have 2 cats. I love animals and frankly have all the time in the world right now during summer to come help you with your pets. I am a full time student at FSU and am currently home for the summer. I can absolutely fit pet care into my daily routine as I am not enrolled in any summer classes. I can pass a background check if needed, (never committed a crime), and can do practically anything you need for your animals, feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, or just spending time with them.

About: I have had experience caring for dogs since I was 10 years old. I’ve taken care of Senior dogs up to 17 years old and puppies starting at one year-old. I love love love dogs, playing with them and spending time with them. My daily routine is highly flexible and I can make time to care for your pet! Just let me know when and where and we will make it work! I’m professional and hold myself to a high standard, will adjust to your preferences regarding care for your dog (you know them best), and will make sure they have fun too!
About: I just moved here from Chicago to start a position at UM! I’ve been an animal, especially dog and cat, person my entire life. Since leaving home, I’ve had to leave my puppies with my family during this transition. I miss them so dearly - I hope to find some families who have pets in need of some help. It will help me fulfill my need and love for animals, and I love to help others too. I worked at a dog kennel for 2+ years previously. Training, feeding, walking, and (my fav) playing with the pups! I feel confident in my ability to take care of any dog - big or small, energetic or sleepy. I have learned the skills to create a safe, trustworthy, and stable environment for you and your pets. I’m currently working full-time and the University of Miami - but my job allows for a lot of flexibility as a lot of my work is online. I’m completely free every afternoon after 5pm and open every weekend, but throughout the day I have the flexibility for potty breaks and walks. I have a lovely dog park right next to my apartment building complex, as well as ample space in my 650sq ft apartment to escape the heat and still play. I could play and pet with dogs/dogs all day . The most important part about your pets experience is their safety, and you, the owner having peace of mind that you will pick them up happy and healthy! Before any visit, I would like to prioritize discussing your dog needs, and your needs to ensure that you know your pets is in good hands.
“Bella is a very caring and responsible dog sitter. We have a 15 year old dog that requires lots of attention and Bella did an amazing job with her. Our dog was really happy and well-cared for. She was very communicative and had great attention to detail. She treated our home with respect and left it like she found it. It’s a great peace of mind for us to know that our baby was in good hands. We will definitely be calling Bella again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Coral Terrace
What can we say except what a gem we found on Rover so our Sammy Sam felt comfortable and enjoyed his stay with Mia. She was excellent and sent images on a timely manner to include how often she took Sam for a walk. Will definitely keep her in mind next time we visit Miami

We left our 1 year old dog with autumn for 15 days while we traveled abroad. We have only had our dog for a couple months, so she’s still in training. Autumn kept up the training while we were away which we really appreciated. She communicated with us every day, and it really helped us relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our girl was safe with Autumn. We came back to a clean home & a happy dog which is all we can ask for!

Devin was amazing with our golden retriever, Honey! She was reliable, communicative, and took such great care of her while we were away. Honey was happy, loved, and clearly in excellent hands. We would absolutely trust Devin to watch her again and highly recommend her!

Sophia watched our dog and cat for us while we were out of town for our wedding and she went above and beyond. She ensured to send us updates multiple times a day and honestly allowed us to really enjoy our weekend. Will 100% be using her services again in the future.

Hannie is AWESOME!! She handled my pack of Dobermans with ease (no small feat by ANY means) after only one meet and greet. She took amazing care of everyone, made sure they were well-fed and handled the pack dynamics perfectly. My babies were in heaven with her (she takes the cutest pics & videos!!) and were very clearly well cared for when I got home. I am so happy to have met Hannie, and my pups are obsessed with her. As a big dog owner I’m always nervous with new sitters, but I felt immediately at ease with Hannie (and my dogs were immediately obsessed with her). She followed all the instructions and went above & beyond in just making sure everyone was happy, safe, and having fun. Thank you Hannie!

Amanda was amazing once again. She accepted a last-minute weekend request and took such great care of our two dogs. She kept us updated with photos and messages, and since this was her second time staying with them, they were clearly excited to see her again. What made this stay extra special was the personal touch—she left us a handwritten note and even an embroidered patch featuring both dogs. It was such a thoughtful surprise. We truly feel at ease knowing Amanda is with them, and we can’t wait to have her back again. Highly recommend!

I can’t even tell you how lucky we are that we found Selena to watch our sweet dolly dog! She took care of our girl for a week at our apartment and I swear dolly is going through withdrawals from missing her! She was so communicative and dolly clearly had the time of her life! Don’t hesitate booking Selena if you want an amazing caretaker for your pet!

Guina recently started walking our pups and this past week stayed with them while we went on vacation. We are rarely separated from them, so having so many cute videos and pictures helped set our minds at ease. We would happily have her stay with them again.

Charlotte did a great job for us. She sat Kody at our house for six days, staying overnight. She followed our written instructions and sent us videos and pictures every day. Charlotte also gave Kody his pills each day. She took good care of Kody. I would definitely hire her again.

As of August 2026, there are 3,632 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Coral Terrace. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Coral Terrace walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Coral Terrace maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Coral Terrace choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
