“Deborah did an outstanding job with our babies. When I got home neither of them were stressed out from us being gone or from the sitting. She did what she said she would and what we asked from her. We will be rebooking with Deborah again.”

About: This is a dual sitter account! Me and my partner will both be present during bookings 🐾. About Isa: Hi! Here's a little about me : As someone slowly trying to transition into a more vegan lifestyle, I've always loved animals ever since I was a little girl and I'm always the type of person to see a stray kitten and feed them immediately. I am on a constant mission of rescuing stray cats/animals and bringing them to safety. I myself have a one year old cat that I rescued from a park and I help take care of my partners french bulldog :). I have experience taking care of a variety of dogs, whether they are big or small. Some dog breeds I have cared of include french bulldog, pitbull, husky, golden doodle, australian shepard, and many more! About Rei: Hello, I look forward to helping take care of all your precious babies. Since I can remember I have always fostered a variety animals in my home. Whether it was a bird, a turtle, bunnies, or dogs and cats; in my home they've all been treated equally and loved with all my heart! I avidly seek new experiences, and walking or caring for any animal has always been one of my favorites. Raising animals is not new to me, and neither is taking care of one that needs medical attention, or a scheduled medication. I don't think ill ever spend a day of my life not wanting to care for any animal, and i'm more than happy to help yours! Rei and I are both currently working part-time so we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to our schedule. We are both usually available on after 2 pm on most weekdays & weekends. As we are college students, our availability may be subject to change so just give us a text and we can arrange a time that fits both our schedules to take care of your fur babies! Rei and I have a fenced yard for play time in the backyard with pups. We also have a variety of toys to play with for cats and dogs as well as many treats. We always try to keep the house free of any scents such candles/diffuser in order to not harm my pets.
“Your energy, enthusiasm, and kindness toward Norman and our family were so appreciated. You were both incredibly attentive to Norman, communicative and gracious throughout, and we felt completely comfortable having you care for both him and our home. Having the two of you is such a wonderful bonus, but you are each so capable and attentive individually that we would feel equally confident and completely at ease with either one of you caring for Norman. You are absolutely our go-to, and we look forward to having you back again very soon!”

I’m dependable, attentive, and make sure every pet gets the care and attention they’re used to while their owners are away. I’m currently a master’s student at the University of Miami, which gives me flexibility in my schedule for pet care. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care throughout the week and on weekends. “Thank you Johanna for loving on our pups while we were away. The communication was strong the entirety of our trip, and though she didn’t stay the night, she made sure to walk them enough so they were good to go. We look forward to our next booking!”

About: Ever since I was young I grew up around pets. I currently have two sweet dogs. My chihuahua who I’ve had since I was 6 years old, and my French bulldog that I’ve had since 2023. As well as I’ve helped rescue foster 4 cats (now living with my boyfriend). I’ve always had a passion for animals, no matter how big or small. I currently work part-time, Monday through Thursday from 2 PM–7 PM, and Friday and Saturday until 7 PM. This gives me plenty of availability in the mornings, evenings, and Sundays to care for your pets. I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s routine, whether they need walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, or overnight care. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for pets with all kinds of personalities, sizes, and needs. I’ve had my Chihuahua for 12 years and my Frenchie for 3 years, which has taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and paying attention to a pet’s routine. I’ve also worked with puppies by teaching basic tricks, practicing patience, and reinforcing good behavior. When caring for a dog or cat, I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive the attention and supervision they need. I’m also comfortable following specific feeding, medication, crate, walking, or care instructions to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. 🐾
“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! She accepted my Rover booking on very short notice, just a few days before the service, which immediately gave me so much relief. From the start, she was communicative, professional, trustworthy, and incredibly reliable. She took such great care of my pups and kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My pups were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for when I returned home. It was obvious they felt comfortable with her, and they warmed up to her right away — which says everything. Not only were my dogs happy, but my home was also left very tidy and well cared for. Stephanie truly went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive sitter. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Suyana was a Godsend when my mom was still in the hospital and we didn't know if she'd be discharged or not. She was willing to help out at the last minute, and did a great job with our wonderful English Setter who loves having company. She was very punctual, responsible, and great at communicating with us.”

“Angie provided the most professional, caring and responsible service I could have asked for. This was my first time having someone come take care of my dogs at home and it made my trip go so much more smooth. She kept me updated with the cutest pictures and was so kind to leave my house very clean when she left. I will be definetly be booking again with her.”

“Jessica was fantastic! I hadn't left my 18 yo cat, Baby, for over two years and was incredibly stressed about it, especially because he's had some medical issues, but I had to take a trip for work. Jessica was great with him! He gets very constipated, but he even pooped 2x while I was away so that made me feel better. Highly recommend Jessica and will book again in the future. Thank you!!!!!!!”

“Audrey was absolutely amazing!!! She stayed with my dog in my home for 8 days under unusual circumstances where I couldn’t be reached for much of the time. Even though I had sporadic access to my phone, she sent me the best photos and videos from all throughout each day of her stay. My pup looked happy as can be the whole time and clearly went on a lot of walks!!! She left my home clean and was an excellent houseguest on top of being a great caregiver for my sweet dog. Thank you! And I will 100% be using her again!”

“I’ve never used this service before but I’m SO glad I trusted my intuition when it came to working with Sofia! Sofia was the perfect friend for our cat Jean, knowledgeable and intuitive all while helping out on short notice. Sofia just “got” Jean, doing meds, taking photos and videos and treating Jean like family. Sofia was also incredibly communicative and respectful of Jean and our home, it felt like having a long time friend catsit rather than a stranger. We definitely want to work with Sofia again! 10/10”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fountainebleau
Devin was amazing with our golden retriever, Honey! She was reliable, communicative, and took such great care of her while we were away. Honey was happy, loved, and clearly in excellent hands. We would absolutely trust Devin to watch her again and highly recommend her!

We had a wonderful experience with Ling. She took excellent care of our dog for a week and making him feel at home. The regular photos and updates gave us peace of mind, and our dog came home happy, healthy, and relaxed. We really appreciated her kindness, reliability, and attention to our dog's needs. We would happily book with her again and highly recommend.

She was super accommodating with picking the cats up and dropping them off due to my scheduling needs! Definitely recommend more touch points and pics throughout stay next time :) but overall good! My cats can be loud at night sometimes when taken out of their environment so they were troopers with that and working on way to try to fix that! Thanks! :)

Hannie is AWESOME!! She handled my pack of Dobermans with ease (no small feat by ANY means) after only one meet and greet. She took amazing care of everyone, made sure they were well-fed and handled the pack dynamics perfectly. My babies were in heaven with her (she takes the cutest pics & videos!!) and were very clearly well cared for when I got home. I am so happy to have met Hannie, and my pups are obsessed with her. As a big dog owner I’m always nervous with new sitters, but I felt immediately at ease with Hannie (and my dogs were immediately obsessed with her). She followed all the instructions and went above & beyond in just making sure everyone was happy, safe, and having fun. Thank you Hannie!

Natalie was so great! We did a couple meet and greets as one of my babies is a little wary of new people. She was so patient and a dog whisper. Both my dogs took to her so fast. She was extremely communicative during our trip and sent lots of photos. She followed all our instructions perfectly and gave our dogs lots of love and attention. We would love to have her house sit for them again in the future

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Fountainebleau walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Fountainebleau maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Fountainebleau choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
